The food and service are amazing. The chef and owner care about the food and the experience for their guests. I had oysters and the halibut fish and chips and great beer and wine and tried to have a nice conversation with a Welsh lady but I couldn’t hear what she was saying very well becausethere was one drunk woman there who kept demanding that the football game be put on when everyone else was just trying to enjoy a quiet meal and a nice conversation. She liked butterflies so I guess I’ll just chalk it up to her being drunk but she drove me out of the restaurant she was screaming so loud and I really did enjoy my delicious food and was going to take it home with me but I got distracted with having to leave to get away from the yelling and screaming of the drunk woman.Other than that, A++++ at Tap Room.

Stopped in with my 16-yr old daughter last week. The food came out fast and was good. We were a little bummed we were not told about the specials because we would of ordered one of them instead, but maybe the waitress forgot to tell us because it was a full house. We had nachos and the garden salad. One recommendation is to offer a side salad as a starter instead of only a whole dinner size garden salad. Over all our nachos were yummy, the salad tasty and house dressing just right, and they even provided a to go cup without us asking for my diet coke when we were getting ready to leave! Not sure if they had desserts, we weren't asked if we wanted any so assuming they do not.

Great food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Staying near Point Reyes Tap Room was a great choice. We came on a Wednesday which was sushi night and it was packed with locals and visitors alike. Friendly staff ready to greet us and prompt service! Plenty of sushi rolls to pick from and other locals were able to order some traditional menu items including a Reuben that looked delicious. Our dumplings and sushi roll was on point and washed down with local beers. Highly recommended after a day of exploring point Reyes!

My wife selected this restaurant based on the extensive and intriguing menu, but we later realized it was actually the menu from the neighboring Inverness Park Market. The Tap Room's menu, in contrast, appeared somewhat limited, mainly featuring various sandwich/burger options. Ultimately, we decided to order the IP Market Nacho Plate and the Fish Taco Trio.The Fish Taco Trio, unfortunately, left much to be desired. It lacked distinct flavors and was rather plain - essentially beer-battered fish on a tortilla with avocado slice and some vegetables.On a brighter note, the Nacho Plate was a pleasant surprise. It arrived with a generous serving size, more than sufficient for two people.I must commend the staff for their exceptional friendliness, and the establishment itself exuded a cozy and endearing charm despite its relatively small size.

Good food, great service. We sat outside, and space heaters kept us sufficiently warm. Halibut fish and chips and BBQ’d oysters were excellent. Our group also enjoyed the fish tacos and clam chowder.

We enjoyed the Tap Room. We were kind of excited to try a few things, but found out Friday night is sushi night and they don't offer their regular menu. The food was great. The prices were a little high. There were some interesting beer options and they were really good. (especially the peanut butter stout)

Excellent local style tap room. It is a small cozy place with good food menu. We loved the fried fish tacos. They do not have any local brews but they have a range of commercial brews on tap. The Nachos are good. They have a lot of board games to play aswell if you want to spend some time relaxing.

We sat outside because we had our dog. It looked cozy inside. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos. I had the Rueben and it was amazingIt was the best I've ever had and I order this a lot. There was filling all the way to the edges and whatever they did to the bread was delicious. The waitress said they brine and smoke the meat. And it wasn't fatty either. A fun place to stop and friendly.

We almost went to a deli in Point Reyes Station but it was very much questionable. I'm SO GLAD we turned around and drove back 3 minutes to go to the Tap Room (we had a very late lunch so many places were closed). It was delicious! Small menu but wonderful quality. We got the local fish and chips special and the chicken sandwich.

We had a good experience here and felt like it was our reward after a long day of hiking. It was a little pricey but it's also kind of fancy food. Easiest way to discover for yourself if it's what you consider pricey is look at the menu in the google maps photos section labeled menu. They also had some craft beers that we enjoyed.

Came here by myself after a fun day at the beach. My server was quick, very kind and polite. I got offered a window seat. It's a tiny spot with a few tables. Everyone knew each other, had that small town feel. I loved that they used compostable plates, and they recycled!! It's attached to the deli next door, which surprised me... It was a long fun day lol.I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, amazing!! The flavors blended together flawlessly! I really liked the pesto and aioli sauce, plus I just like sandwiches.I also got a to go order to take back to Sac with me, from what I could smell the clam chowder smells really tasty too!! Then I got another grilled chicken sandwich but that time was with a salad (•‿•) My hubs also enjoyed their food once I did get back! So good! Definitely want to go again!

This is a super fun place with an owner — Andrew — who is massively hospitable and customer-focused. Food is very good and there’s a fine choice of local beers. Great place to stop after visiting the nearby beaches. Outdoor seating with over head heaters. Indoor seating is limited but very cosy and charming with local flare. We go for the Fish n Chips, which is light white and delicious. Fries are amazing, crispy, just the right texture and lightly seasoned to perfection. My wife loves their choice of wines and they also have great local artisian beers on tap, hence the name, "the Tap Room". Desert is limited to what's in stock but each is very yummy.Service is fast, very pleasant, and friendly.Might be a bit pricey but that is all relevant to each own financial circumstances.2 orders Fish n Chips (large 3 piece)1 Beet salad (huge plate)1 Flight of wine (two glasses)1 Caramel brownie n scoop of ice cream$85.00 w/out gratuityHighly recommended

Pleasant surprise on a weds night which is sushi night. Scrumptious and delicious rolls with a friendly vibe, my friend and I had a great time! Only feedback is the use of plastic cups and disposable plates and cutlery. Although they are compostable, it still creates a lot of waste that we don’t need.

We stayed down the road at the Tomales Bay Inn & Resort. We had planned to try some of the closer restaurants, but luckily they were closed. We went a little further to the Tap Room because they actually opened late enough that we wouldn't be rushed. We were immediately greeted by one of the friendliest ladies that really made you feel like it was her personal mission to make us feel welcome. Sat at a shared long table in the back. Played chess with my youngest son while we waited for our dinner. Enjoyed a locally brewed amber ale with the Reuben sandwich. The Tap Room shares a kitchen with the Inverness Park Market next door that has a wonderful deli and fantastic small town grocery market. Enjoyed the experience so much, I even bought a Tap Room ball cap. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of places have good customer service. This one was so welcoming that you just want to keep coming back.

Good god, this was the best food in all of the bay area. The fish tacos were freaking amazing, and the hot sauces to go along with them were so delicious I put them on my grocery list. The beers were great, and our server/bartender was the kindest, coolest dude. It’s a little out of the way, but if you’re headed down to point reyes, it’s a great place to eat lunch.

Tomato basil soup needed salt, bones in the fish and chips, salads needed more dressing, paper plates including paper soup bowls. Oysters were not shucked well bits of shell in each one. Beer served in plastic cups good and view was nice. Outhouse for bathroom and the water soap setup was out of water so how are the employees washing their hands 😳 expensive and under seasoned food. Stopped when saw 4.6 stars how is that possible?

Amazing people here, let us in even though they were closing. Food was so good and the service was excellent. Had a great talk with the manager (or owner?), such a nice guy, would love to go back soon!!
