Went into petco today to do a return for kitten milk and to purchase canned cat food. I found everything I was looking for and at a good price.However, the checkout process was extremely slow since there was only one cashier ringing customers up. There was a long line of people waiting and no other associate came to help Julian , the only cashier available. Other customers were getting upset at the speed of checkout and I feel it is unfortunate your employees have to deal with rude customers because they are left alone during busy hours when there are other associates on the floor.If this is how busy it gets on a Wednesday afternoon, I can only imagine how hectic it gets during the weekends.

We went to Petco to buy food for our seniors cats 15 & 14, there’s a good variety of wet food.First we chose to walk to see the animals, my grandson (10 years) likes all of them as well as we do!However when we stopped to watch the chinchillas, I saw two flies, one was the size of a bee!!! All flies carry worms in their stomach:The first would be some sort of parasite that has infected the fly. Of course when any parasite is feeding from its host, it will immediately abandon that host when it is deceased.However, this is unlikely. House flies and other species can be infected by and transmit parasitic worms, but these are so small as to be all but microscopic so you wouldn't notice them, and would find them difficult to see without a microscope even if you were looking for them. I'm unaware of any parasite a common fly species carries that would be large enough for you to notice evacuating its host!The above can cause animals to eat it!!!I suggested an employee and one of the cashiers to use a mesh, to prevent chinchillas get sick, so far these maggots escalate all the way to their hearts.Their answer was, there’s nothing we can do and they’ve been always like that…I asked the cashier I wanted to talk to the supervisor and she said “he’s in the back!”I feel very sorry for those precious animals 😣Enzo Maiorca Italian diver once said:"Until men learn and respect and talk to the animal world, never will understand which is their truthfulness being in this WORLD"

The store is always busy on the weekend there's a vet that comes in on those days on the weekdays they Don't really stock or help you out there's not that many collars for cats and if they are their overpriced and if you want to groom your dog good luck it's always filled up 🤣

Always helpful employees. Especially Carlos. Thankful for his suggestions today because my baby is being picky and she loved both of the suggestions of dry food and treat that he picked out and I'm the type to try the treats as well and they were actually good 🤣

Went to Petco to an items for a new turtle i had received. Was not able to find a single assistant on the floor to help me look for what i need (I was ok with that) I ended up googling what i needed and just looked around the store. However, the cashier who was ringing me up was ringing up multiple customers at once (understandable) but she just rung up my items, charged me, and left. I had to get my own receipt and bag up my own items…

This location usually has our dogs’ favorite treats in stock.Nakki rang us up and she was a pleasure to deal with. The guy working with her at the registers, I want to say Nathan?, was also having fun interacting with other customers. It speaks well of a store to see employees who seem to be enjoying their jobs. After leaving oc and having the same groomer for 5 years is hard finding another groomer well I cannot compliment Jessica who works in grooming here enough she deserves 5 stars and because of her is why I give 5 stars.The store usual never really carries the food I purchase there always out of nature's recipe. There clothing goes do fast here.They are currently under renovation here. Which is awesome ! They will have a vet service in site for availability. There carrying more products.

I went in the store to pick something up for my boyfriend that wasn’t in the previous bird house he had bought. And the cashier was so rude and just charged me without asking me what I was picking up. When I wasn’t supposed to be charged for the item. My boyfriend had bought a big bird house & it did not come with the stick so he called and spoke to Hector! He told him to come by to just pick up the stick! But why was I charged for the whole bird house again?!

Deeply disappointed in this establishment it used to be well maintained but now its very disorganized there are no employees other than the cashier which is why people steal everything and the lines were ridiculously long. The housing conditions for the animals they sell are disgusting I cannot believe they care so little about their animals they had birds with filthy cages and stagnant green water to drink out of.

One of the worst petco locations. They have the worst dog trainer’s , Teresita is very rude and will not give a full hour of training like she is suppose too. She needs a lot of customer service training. Will never come back to this locayion.

Please stop selling animals u guys deserve a lawsuit for murder they are no different than u if Petco could sell humans they would.. I will definitely consider Petco when I get to the top of the food chain. . no coming back from this they sold me cheap hardware for a pet chameleon now he is dead.. if only that was them . Killing millions of animals for profit remember people anything for cash stop supporting these bad business and waste your dollar elsewhere more professional business .

I honestly recommend staying away from this place. I can’t believe what they did to my dog and aside from that, they never called me to reschedule the grooming appointment. The groomer, Judith did a terrible job and I will make sure people know what she did to my dog.

Great day everyone,I went in to buy fresh Pet Greens Live Cat Grass, but I was not able to purchase any because I was not able to find it, and when I asked an employee (near the cat litter section) stocking shelves he did not have a clue to what I was talking about, but I did manage to run into an employee (wearing a light blue Petco shirt - forgot to look at his name tag) that helped me look for it, and when he was not able to find it he asked Tere for assistance an employee that works there, but Tere was so busy she did not have time to help us out look for this product. (Date and time has been provided for camera/video review by upper management)Also, there is very little organization seen and pallets blocking the merchandise. I will never go back to this location, and all employees here need to get better coaching/customer service training as soon as possible.07/06/19 12:04 Noon

It is a decent store, there is always some clutter to the right as you walk in, but nothing that is dangerous. If you're looking for some Fish treats for your pup, like Cod Skin, I have to say I've never found any at any Petco, they have a nice variety of kibble and frozen fresh foods.

The only positive thing is that they will have what you are looking for in most cases, pet related. I find these places overpriced, so I limit my visits to only when my other local pet stores are out of what we need.

Got my dog groomed here. It is onlyMy dogs second time to the groomer. When he came out the back he smelled like wet dog. His nails were not even cut maybe cuffed but why weren’t they clipped… first and last time at this Petco for grooming. His first grooming was at the one in South Gate. They did a great job over there. He smelled and looked amazing afterwards.

I love to shop here when I can and it is the closest to my home. I'm so glad the had one of the Fluval FX4 Canister Filters that I was looking for my Turtle tank. The in-store pick up was fast & easy & I ordered a day before. Thank you for having stronger filters like this available.

I will never shop here again i walk in and ask where Is the cat food because every store is set up differently the sales associate tells me and then says I’ll be over to help I didn’t need help I knew what I wanted so I already know what time it is so I play the role so select the ones I came for I say can you take these items to the front for me so he did I got in line so I get to the register get my total I’m like I can get a few more so I run back get two more cans I run back with the two cans only to here the girl in the back radio the person ringing me up asking him if he got the two cans so they just accused me of stealing I was going to leave but the store was about to close and I was out of food I will be contacting cooperate on Monday
