This store is among several that have gone down hill. Customer service is non existing, lack of cashiers basically forcing you to use self checkout and now they video record you while doing the job they don't want to pay somebody to do and even have gone one step further and the video now alerts associate if you touch anything triggering them to have to come watch the video of you ringing up your purchase while you wait !!! Rhis happened 2 times in o e purchase to me. Also in the length of time I was standing in line it happened to 7 others!!! Wonderful way to show they do not care about the customer nor our time. THEY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER OR THEIR DAYS ARE NUMBERED

Great store, the employees are on point ,very clean store. I hold no grudge against this store for what the police did to me. I know I’m on camera returning several shopping carts that I didn’t ever leave the grounds with. Just sharing my story in hopes it saves the next brother. Thanks again for the breakfasts. It’s a shame your police had to be this way. Good luck workers 👍

Ate at Xa Sweet and Savory cafe in the same plaza. Awesome restaurant with healthy options and good prices. Fresh paleo options, smoked meats, cookies. 🏆Drinks and food options. Friendly staff.

BEWARE, they've had their bathroom closed for 2 months, for a remodel that hasn't even started and will only take two weeks. They have a temporary bathroom outside for their employees only, but because Walmart only has contempt for its customers you will not be able to use a bathroom while shopping. You should go to the Target on Garfield and Beach instead, it's much cheaper anyway. THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THEM TO BE DENYING THEIR CUSTOMERS BATHROOMS FOR MONTHS ON END OTHER THAN THAT THEY HAVE TOTAL CONTEMPT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

It gets a bad rap because it’s Walmart, but this grocery store is always a great deal every time I go. It is only a grocery store and not a full Walmart. The aisles are pretty well stocked. Since this location is very close to the beach, a lot of “beach snacks” and other beach related items are usually low in stock by the end of the day. The produce here is pretty good. Not up to Sprouts or Whole Foods standards, but it’s also ridiculously cheap and I haven’t picked a bad batch of bananas yet. My favorite thing about this store is the ability to use scan and go if you have Walmart +. You scan your groceries as you pick them out and then finalize your payment at the self checkout. It makes shopping here very convenient. I also have great praise for the employees who put up with all kinds of nonsense from the entitled beach goers all day long. They are always pleasant and helpful. If you aren’t going to be long, there is a small 10 minute parking spot over on the far side near the propane exchange.

This was my first time visiting a Walmart Grocery store. It was interesting to see a Walmart with just groceries only!! Great prices and the shelves are reasonable stocked!!

The Walmart neighborhood market on Beach is one of the first of its kind. The store has low prices with good produce and a large collection of food and other items. The pharmacy is my Mother,s favorite pharmacy for the ease of finding everything and the lower prices. The people from Landmark love to shop here for the value and convenience.The bakery is surprisingly good at great prices. I bring the cakes and cookies to events and people can’t believe it is from Walmart.Also, for those who like plant-based foods and are gluten and/ or lactose sensitive, they have a large selection.Parking can be busy, just plan on parking and getting a cart far away.The shopping center has plenty of other stores and restaurants and bars.

The money center is NEVER OPENED on the 1st of the month!!!RENT MORTGAGE WHATEVER IT IS not just this location but many Walmart locations are not available conveniently on the first of the month. It's a huge disservice to your customers that depend on your money order service and check cashing services.

Not the typical Walmart. “Neighborhood Market” Walmarts are pretty much just grocery outlets, which is great… as long as you know the difference. I did not. I was expecting the Super Center Walmart. I was slightly disappointed. The More You Know……

Update: I wrote a 2 star review a few years ago based on the pharmacy and stopped going there. Out of necessity, I had to go back. I was pleasantly surprised to find the new pharmacist and team are amazing! So helpful, friendly, and they try to be quick as possible.

If you are thinking about shopping at this Walmart think Twice because there public bathrooms have been closed for months they say that there remotling them.. but it's been way to long for that they should have been finished with them my now because by law they should have the bathrooms open if you need to use it.

Tuesday July 19, 5:45PM.Dishonest Kathie (cashier).Super helpful Edmund.Edmund at the Customer Service was friendly & super helpful. We bought $24 worth of items & Kathie at cashier #3 rang us up for $61 (include all the items from previous customer who cancelled their purchase right before us).At first I didnt realize the mistake & I threw my receipt into the recycle bin (by the door) on my way out.As I was sitting in my car, I received a text from my credit card that I made a purchase of $61!!!So I walked back to the recycle bin & saw Kathie was at the bin doing something.I told her what happened, but she had no recollection of serving me. I mean I was at her station 5 mins ago. She obviously knew that she had to cancel 2 bags full of groceries right before serving me!All this happened within 10 mins.I mentioned the two bags of groceries cancelled by the customer before me & she had no idea what I was talking about & said she could not help me. There was no offer to resolve the matter whatsoever from her & it was so frustrating.So i dug up the recycle bin trying to find my receipt, but could not find it, then I remember Kathie was at the bin when I walked in… It’s just so bizarre! Did she have my receipt & try to cover her mistake?I walked to see Edmund at the Customer Service & omg he was so different from Kathie. He was actually very helpful. He was able to trace the transaction & took off the items which didnt belong to me right down to the two plastic bags they charged the customer who cancelled.I would still shop at this store but I would avoid Kathie like a plaque. She’s dishonest & unhelpful. She just doesnt care!

It's only groceries here which is nice to do a quick trip for some food items. They have everything I want at this store. Here's a update of this store, 8-12-23, they rearranged half of the store. So now you have to relearn where the items you like are. They are also doing work on the parking lot.

I went to Walmart Huntinton Beach, Beach Blvd to do an exchange. To my delight Lisa made it so easy and pleasant. She is a star employee. She made what could have been a dreary experience delightful. Meeting employees who have a happy demeanor make shopping so much more enjoyable. 5 ⭐️‘S for Lisa in the exchange department.

Amerigas BBQ tank propane exchange is outside with automated credit card. Quick and easy without going inside. Update: if you do not have a tank to exchange, find one that someone is getting rid of for < or =$10, then go to Amerigas. Amerigas recertifies old tanks and will accept as an exchange. Still best place near beach, $19.92 for exchange.

Very nice and clean with friendly staff. It's very close to Huntington beach so location is just perfect. Well maintained and good for quick shopping for snacks,fruits and over all grocery and traveling need. You can even buy cold beer as well. Overall very satisfied and good experience.
