A manager, I assume, approached me and talked a "bit" rudely.. I'm saddened by the rudeness to potential poor folks.. I haven't been approached ever in such a tone as that in my life. I didn't step in the store or really near it when a lady that worked there quickly walked out to yell at me.. She mentioned that I don't "park my bike" anywhere near the store (which I wasn't going to do). I was outside standing with my bike ten feet from the store and out of anyone's way to drink my water for a moment .. i was straight away yelled at and treated like dirt, i felt, for that ?? I am a poor disabled lady so I assume that image was bothersome for this Karen.. sorry.. but yes.. karen

My dogs absolute favorite place to visit, they love to go in and pick out their own treats and toys, they have an amazing selection of treats, toys and chews for all sizes. The staff is always amazing they give the dogs treats and are sure to ask if it's okay as well, love that, and a lot of attention as well which my dogs will never turn down, hands down the best pet store to visit! Your pets will thank you!

Went to check it out to see if they had suitable things for my animals because big chain pet stores are more for profit rather than ethical pet products. I have cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Everything is priced decently and I love that they have a wide selection for guinea pig products. I over heard some conversations about hamster care and most of it was accurate but maybe having a quick guide to double check facts. There’s lots of good information available on YouTube and hamster forums.

Great! My dog loves their grain free food and it's got great nutritional content. They also make their dog food in small batches as they only have 26 stores, all of them in SoCal. It's not cheap at $54 for a 30lb bag but it's comprable to stuff that's in the $80 range. They were more than willing to give me some samples so I could see if my dog liked it first. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the products I inquired about, not only giving me info but also making pleasant conversation. To top it off, they've got a hairless Guinea pig in the store that's really cute. Looks like a pink potato with ears. I think petco just lost a customer to this locally owned business

I was at Trader Joe's and happened to see this pet store right next to them, so I head over to buy a collar for my cat. I was immediately greeted by an employee who asked if I need assistance, which was nice. They weren't overbearing, just helpful. Anyway, when I went to pay, the cashier asked if I have ever given my cat their brand of dry food and offered me a sample to take home. My cat seriously fell in love with this stuff. Not only that, her coat became super soft and silky. There was a noticeable decrease in shedding as well.Now this is the only brand of dry food I buy. You can get a big bag for $30 which will last you a while. I recommend trying it out…at least ask for a sample to see if your cat or dog will like it.

After my little guy had a rough day at the vet, the staff at Kahoots HB were so incredibly thoughtful/caring as we came in looking for a soft cone and some anti-anxiety treats. It had been a draining day for me and I felt so grateful for their kindness/help during our last stop of the day. Much love!!!

Really nice store with QUALITY pet food. You won’t find big name foods here and that is a good thing—also have raw food options. The lady working was knowledgeable about the different brands of food and even gave us a couple samples for our cat to try. She loved one of the samples and I’ll be back to buy it!

My husband and I LOVE this place.The staff is very friendly and helpful.The store has a great selection of food and toys and is always very clean.Whenever we need things for our 5 birds we don't even think about where we will go its Kahoots every time.

Wasted my time and wasted my effort. You will be upsold Kahoots brand products and harassed at the register for more sales. I put my hat in the ring to work here and it's one of those places without the respect or decency to contact you in any way; they'd rather you twist in the wind.

Used to frequent this store a lot because it is a locally run store and always had decent experience. I didn't start running into problems until my dogs dietary needs changed because of medical reasons and they needed to be put on vegetarian wet/dry food and it was like a light switch in their attitudes towards me. Every time I went in to purchase their food I'd literally be lectured by the associates and told I am causing my dogs damage to their bodies and that I know nothing about dog nutrition because I am "so young", no idea what that means as I am well past the legal drinking age even so who knows. I take excellent care of my dogs and they have health insurance and are spoiled rotten so to be treated so poorly when I am in the store weekly buying food/toys/treats is ridiculous. Since I have switched to buying their food at Petco and not only are their associates WAY nicer their prices are lower for bigger content bags as well. Safe to say I am never returning.

Kahoot's is a really well stocked pet store catering to every owner from the basic to the esoteric, from the simple to the specialty.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the whole store is pet- friendly.Especially like their monthly vet clinic. Specific vaccines and whole animal packages.The one closest to me is in the 5 Point's area in Huntington Beach. Not sure if there are others, but this one is awesme.
