Just spent another wonderful week at the R Ranch! My family has been coming to the ranch for many years. It is a great place for celebrating family birthdays and any special event. We have had many family vacations here. There is many things for children as well as adults to do such as river rafting, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and just sitting around the evening campfire making smores or cooking winners on a stick.Not only is the area beautiful but the people are too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the area is well cared for and clean. I cannot say enough about Robyn at headquarters. She is always there to help and is one of the kindest people I know Tanya is a doll too!!Our family has three generations of memories at the ranch. My grown children never knew a time when we didn’t go each year. Here's to many more to come!!

Where else can you take a horse on a guided trail ride, and then go trap shooting at the gun range, take a dip in the pool and wrap it up with BBQ at your campsite with friends and family?! I love R-Ranch Siskiyou!

It says recreational center but it's private and for share owners or guests of share owners so it is slightly misleading.... It's private to owners and the guests of the owners the general public isn't allowed inside the facilities

Great place for families, hunters, and anyone who likes camping. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It has many fun things to do like river rafting, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, swimming in the Olympic size pool, off-road trails, and during on-season many fun events for everyone to participate in. They also put on dinners throughout the year and u do pay by the plate. There are two campgrounds (Cottonwood and Klamath), the private gun range (nothing fancy its outside), headquarters, and tons of property to do all kinds of fun things on like driving off-road vehicles and hunting.This is not a regular campground you buy in to have your very own slice of paradise that you can use when you want to, this is not a time share.

Can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. I'm a 3rd generation R-Rancher & owner and this is like my second home. Located in Hornbrook CA, about 15 minutes from the Oregon Border off I-5. Awesome family oriented old west themed outdoorsman's paradise ranch membership. Two campgrounds with great on river campsites, electric & non-electric sites, stables, boarding & horseback riding, outdoor gun range, pool, adult & youth rec centers, bunkhouse & line shacks, river rafting on the Klamath River, fishing on Klamath and nearby Copco & Irongate lakes, & hundreds of private acres for hunting. Run down and poorly managed. It could be what all of the good reviews say - but it's not at this time. While recent wildfires have taken their toll on the property, they are easily blamed for years of mismanagement that sadly, continues to this day. Hoping things will change - signed a recent new owner and perhaps a former owner.

Great staff and facilities. There's horseback riding, camping, river floats, a huge pool, 4,000 acres of off-roading areas, a gun range, lodges, and more. I've been going here for five years, and I still discover new things each time I go here. 5 stars!

Although substantially damaged by the Klamathon fire, R-Ranch is on its way back. Our kids and grandkids loved the horses and look forward to returning to camp this summer.

Love the ranch. Being retired we spend about 4 months at the ranch every year during the summer. Never run out of things to do. We have found an incredible second family there and we use it for our yearly family reunion, last 4 years running.

Great acreage for families to camp, enjoy, spend quality time & bring their toys, friendly staff, close to Ashland OR, beautiful terrain to explore, all the amenities you truly need, good access to I-5 . . . there’s nothing comparable for the price.

It a good place to get away up from the Bay area + crowd and into the old Cali; need to slowly upgrade with Guides, Tours and Outfitters contacts, be it volunteers(+) or paid, to discover the many hidden spots and activity's. And it is a quick skip to all of Southern Oregon's Rouge Valley! Great for family's, couples and (singles a rare advantage) with Bunk house, Camping and Campers. A great base for discovering the Northwest!! More possible activities than most Ranches with the Klamath river access, Fishing, Biking, Hiking, Gold panning, Riding, motorcycles, swimming, parties, cooking shack, etc. And with increased interest and polishing this comfortable place can be a combination of rough riders to a country club and all in between, a diamond in the rough!

The RRanch in Hornbrook is a nature lovers dream. There’s camping, horseback riding, ATV trails, fishing ponds and the Klamath River. We’ve been owners for almost 10 years and we keep finding new things about the ranch that we love!

The head wrangler doesn't care. Brought issue about head wrangler to general manager and nothing was done about it. The ranch itself is nice. Not a lot to do during the "off season" September through April. But during the summer months lots of families, food and activities that aren't related to the stables. Which is a shame as the stables was one of the best things to do before current management came on.

A few family members own shares and we enjoy meeting up here and making memories. It is close to Ashland and Mt. Shasta and the planned holiday events are nice. I noticed someone said it was a timeshare. It isnt a time share. You have a deed and are an owner. If your parents just stop paying the dues their share will go into foreclosure and they woll no longer be owners or have to pay anything. Or they could sell their share..the ranch cannot just take money if someone relinqueshes their deed or sells it. I may be interested in another share. Email Nakusea@yahoo
