Nice convenient location with plenty of snacks for the road. Only thing was that one of the attendants (the Asian lady) made me feel very uncomfortable just watching me as I was looking and comparing which snacks to buy! Other than that good location.

Stopped by for snacks and restroom break. Men’s restroom is fine depending on the urgency of usage. It’s out of toilet paper and seat covers. We ended up going down a few miles to the rest area for us boys.They have other supplies available in the men’s restroom if anyone need but only accepts quarters. Women’s restroom is clean and good.Snacks are reasonably priced like other gas stations.They have fishing gear too for the fishermen passing through.The cashier didn’t know how to use the Chevron points so I couldn’t checkin to get some points toward my next reward for buying items. A little disappointed at that but I guess it’s how it is at this location.

Nice little place, for quick stop for gas and some snacks,drinks and sandwiches,you can also buy alcohol, staff is friendly. Bathrooms was ok ,there can do better. You can park your car or semi truck inthe big open parking lot

I've done 10s here when I needed to, people are always nice, I buy what I can to support them. No fresh cooking but plenty of packaged food choices and a clean microwave.

A very funky and old establishment that looks pretty rough of the outside. The attendant was not wearing a mask when I first entered, although did put one on when after noticing me wearing one and at least kept her distance.The bathrooms were cleaner than I expected. Definitely a truck stop kind of place though. No toilet seat covers and only the had hand dryers instead of paper towels.The best quality of the place is the air pump that is free and on, not requiring you to insert coins or ask the attendant to turn it on. It’s also notably powerful and will fill up a low tire very quickly.

Stopped here often for pretty good coffee and big enough dirt lot to park a Big Rig . Don’t mention if you know any one you know , of in this town , they’re kinda private and might give you the cold shoulder LOL 😂

I got gas then decided to use the restroom but it was terribly dirty with bad smelling. All trash cans were full and the water pressure wasn’t enough to wash hands.I hope they pay more attention to cleaning the restrooms from now on.

Truck stop level of gas station. Dirty, trash all over the place, graffiti everywhere. Gets the job done though if you need a bathroom and gas.Prices are higher than expected but about what you would expect for middle of nowhere. Would only stop here if absolutely needed gas, or needed a bathroom break

Attendant was not wearing a mask inside gas station, and she was rude to customers. Wearing a mask is more than necessary especially when you are serving hundreds of people a day, to protect them. I am high risk, please be safe out there everyone

There is good parking lot behind the pump . Not a good one it's muddy and not balance. Easy to get a damage to ur semi if u don't go through slow. The main unisex washroom not so clean closd after 22:00 . There is one portable washroom outside. Don't expect too clean there . A mini market in side with few things. If u just wash ur truck try to avoid this stop . Can get pretty dirty by next morning...

The Chevron in Hornbrook, CA was a lifesaver and saved us from running out of gas @ 12:38 am. We were driving from the San Francisco Bay area to Oregon/Washington on the I-5 North. My dear hubby forgot to check the gas (last town Yreka) gauge before we headed up the grade through the Cascade Mountains near the Oregon border. Low fuel light goes on. Uh -oh! Do we drive back track 20 or so miles to Yreka, or continue forward? With spotty reception in the mountain range, Google indicated that there was a gas station up ahead 7 miles, but it also said it was closed. We don't know if we would make to the next city of Ashland and we didn't know the terrain, if it would all be downhill (we could coast), uphill or a combination of both. Spouse made the decision to go forward, which was a bad idea because Ashland, OR was futher away than we thought. I did not want to be stuck on the side of the road in the wilderness. On a whim, hubby decided to pull off of the highway and drove to the Chevron Station in Hornbrook. Hope looked bleak as the store/mart was dark. However, we noticed that the lights around the pumps were bright. We drive up, stick our CC card in the slot and yes, they left the pumps on!!!! With a sigh of relief, we filled up with 18.44 gallons of fuel on our gas sucking Honda Pilot and continued on our merry way to overnight in Grant's Pass.

Awesome spot, I don't have a clue why the reviews are so bad. Ample truck parking considering the rural area friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

Never again will I venture here. Unkemp, dirty, filthy and overpriced. The only bathrooms are god-awful portajohns which clearly haven’t been served in weeks. Don’t stop here. For your own safety.
