Really excellent local bar/pub. The wings were very good, the beer selection is solid, the decor is beautiful and retro (not a ton of older solid brick places around here), the outdoor seating is plentiful and the service window to serve outside customers is a really cool touch. We’ll be back! This is a great destination bar for motorcycle rides.

We hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner there. Cheryl and Ron were so great and easy to work with. Everyone at the party had a great time and loved Hopland Tap. The food, drinks and service was great. I could not have picked a better place.The day after the wedding we came back to Hopland with a group of 20 family members. It was a last minute decision and the party just kind of grew. When we arrived it looked like Hopland Tap had an event already going. We went to all the other restaurants and none of them would accommodate us. I walked into the Hopland Tap and was greeted with a hug from Cheryl. When I told her we had a large party and she said give me a few minutes to figure it out, but if course we can take you. We all had a great time and of course the food, drinks and service was great.I would highly recommend you stop if you are ever in the areaVegetarian options: We have vegetarian and one with a citrus allergyDietary restrictions: We had some members that were vegetarian, and one that had a citrus allergy.Wheelchair accessibility: The beer garden had a wide entrance

Hopland Tap is housed in a building that has been around since the 1880s. It is a cute little bar. The bartender was very nice--he loves his job and where he lives--in the little town of Hopland (he is a happy Bay Area transplant). The alcohol and the food prices are very reasonable--especially if you live in the Bay Area.I love the ambiance. There is lots to look at. There's a wild pig head high on the wall that would probably freak out my vegetarian friends, but it is a taste of the history of Mendocino County. (When I used to roam the hills decades ago, I ran into some wild pigs, and they weren't very friendly). There is a 420 speed limit sign that looks kinda Hippy Redneck--look at the picture I posted and see if you agree.Hopland Tap is a place to go with friends--there's a beer garden under some hops. There's even a lending library to borrow or bring books you no longer want. They have a machine to can the draft beer you want to take home.I feel a little embarrassed because I drank some of my drafted local cider, and my share of a half pound of garlicky shrimp for $13.50 before I remembered to take a photo to share. Darn!Remember to stop by if you are driving by on the 101.You can check out their website for current activities.

The vegan burger was pretty terrible. Soggy bread, undercooked and just not tasty. We ordered a side of garlic chips for 9$ and there were just a handful of chips that tasted as if the oil where they were fried had not been changed in a long time. Overall, it felt like fast food at restaurant prices. 26$ plus tax and tip for a soggy burger with a small side of salad and an extra side of fries.

This place is a circus. It was an empty bar except two people, two small groups outside, four people working front of house and it still took 30 minutes to place a food order. Food came quickly, though. Chicken nuggets were delicious. Everything else was meh. The staff all must have ADHD because they trade off their duties in the middle of whatever they're doing. Nobody knows what food goes to what table. They blame their patrons for being delayed and scattered but clearly they're the problem. With better management and operations, this place could be great.

The place is terrible. Very empty if you ask me. I came as a big group there, it was impossible to find parking due to that the city parking lot was small with barely any room to park. You’d be lucky if you find a parking space. Now the food is absolutely terrible! I am only giving it 3 stars because the tater tots were amazing, but other than that, it sucks. But even worse, the waiters were super rude to us, and they hid some big facts from us (like that the menu is a fixed menu, which we fell into that trap during drinks, because drinks don’t come with refills, we ended up paying for each fool we did by complete accident), and didn’t treat us very friendly.Dietary restrictions: As having a dietary restriction, I can’t eat certain things in the burger, so I adjusted it to my liking, and after a long while of waiting, the food came out, without my preferences added, which means I had to wait even longer for my food.Parking: It is very hard to find parking. You’d be lucky to find some there.Wheelchair accessibility: They do take care of this, which is nice.

I have tried almost all their burgers plus I'm Gluten Free and they're delicious! If you're also GF you need to try this place. The GF bun is so fluffy, tastes so good and does not fall apart! The food is just not amazing but their staff and owner are so nice! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner last night and he's was above and beyond on customer service!Dietary restrictions: GF friendlyKid-friendliness: They have a nice patio for my toddler to walk around while we wait for food.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to enter through the patio that's ADA compliant; as well as ADA bathrooms.

Great service, excellent bar tender/ waitress. I had a burger that was delicious until I was about half way through and I pulled out a long piece of hair. I didn't say anything but I couldn't finish my meal and my lady couldn't finish her burger either because of that. It's ruined our experience

Wait staff was great and it has a fun atmosphere but very expensive. I think overpriced. Most expensive chicken sandwich ever. We almost walked out, but we were tired and hungry driving from San Francisco to home in Oregon. We won't be stopping there again

We LOVED our lunch. The service was great and the food worth the 1.5 hour drive. I splurged and had the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich and my husband said his black bean burger was the best he’s ever had. I’d make the trek weekly just for the tortilla chips and the great beer selection! Living on the Mendocino Coast we are fortunate to have great food options but Hopland Tap is one of our favorites. Super great people and food worth the drive!

Our family stopped here on our way back from a baseball game in Fort Bragg. And, we're glad we did! Enjoyable atmosphere on the patio with heaters. The food and beer selection were all wonderful. My wife and son are Gluten free, but they had GF bread/buns and an accommodating menu. All of our food (especially the peel and eat shrimp) stood out. We will definitely stop by again when we travel through Hopland

Great pub with friendly staff and equally friendly patrons. During the summer, the patio is great. Nice place for a break from wine tasting, or just to grab a bite en route north or south of Hopland. Woman-owned, too!

My family and I came into town from the East Coast for a wedding. Stayed next door to the Hopland Tap at the Stock Farm. Hopland Tap is a fantastic establishment. The owner and staff were very friendly and tentative, the food was awesome, great beer selection, and the hospitality was unbelievable. We were looking for certain beer for the wedding event and the owner stepped up and had some imported in just for the event. If I ever get a chance to go back out to Hopland, I'm definitely making a stop again! Highly recommend!

They have a nice selection of beers on tap. The selection of local wines are some of the best anywhere. Everyone had the big juicy burgers and freshly made fries and loved them. The shaded patio was comfortable even in the middle of the summer day. The frosty cold beer helped too.

An excellent casual pub! The Hopland Tap has a fantastic beer selection, solid casual food, friendly staff, and fun weekend bands. The owners are often there entertaining guests and making sure everyone feels at home. I love the Tap most for the casual and fun-loving atmosphere. For beer lovers, fans of the traditional pub experience or just someone looking for a low key meal at a comfy place the Hopland Tap hits all the right notes.

Super nice people, great drink menu, great food, reasonably priced too! Outdoor dining area, biker friendly, and we were there when they had live music. Good hamburgers and vegan hot dogs!
