Came in to open a UPS Box. Waited in line like everyone else. When it was finally my turn, I was told that I couldn't because of how busy they they were helping customers. I asked him how / why he wasn't willing to help a customer that's simply looking to purchase a service that they offer. He said again that they are understaffed & too busy with Amazon returns. I then waited until they had zero customers in line and was still told that I couldn't be helped because of all the Amazon returns that needed processed. I then asked when would be a better time to come back. He recommended at 8 am. But then was coming up with excuses for why that wouldn't be a good time. Then said that he was feeling threatened by me because I was making eye contact with him while trying to figure out when would be a good time to get a box opened.

My company is shipping packages here for a project I'm working on. I picked up 2 boxes the day before and was not charged but today when I came in I was informed that there was a surprise $5 fee to pick up each package.This fee is not listed on the website or in store so I'm not sure if it was made up on the spot or not. When asked about it, I was told it was so they could pay rent and store packages for people. Even though one of my packages had been there for 2 hours or less and they almost didn't know it had been delivered because they hadn't scanned it in.Ship to store or pick up fees are reasonable if they are communicated somewhere so the customer is aware of them. We'll be choosing a different delivery location for the remaining boxes for the project.

I came in to try to open up a UPS box on a Saturday, I did notice that it was decently busy with about 4 customers waiting in line (this location is always busy) there was 2 UPS workers behind the counter, when it came to my turn to be helped the UPS representative explained that it was not a good time to be helped with opening a mailbox as the store was busy and the rep had "other" things that needed to be done. Rep advised it would be best to stop by at a later time or different day which was understandable due to the amount of people waiting in line. However I did stop by sometime later that same day and saw that there was only 1 person being helped. When I stood in line the same rep explained that today was not a good time to be helped with opening the mail box and should come the following Monday. When I questioned the rep as to not wanting to help me since the store did not appear to be busy, the rep immediately became tense and irrate and pretty much told me that there is nothing he can do and will not be able to assist me with opening a UPS box and to complain to UPS if I wished. I'm a reasonable person and also work in the Service industry so i know a thing or two about providing excelent customer service and knowing how to de escalate upset customers, that being said Im only providing this feed back since the rep encouraged me to complain to UPS.

Mailed April 22 reported damaged May 8th. Did all the paperwork turned in all pictures estimates and such had purchased insurance as of today Oct 2 still not settled and reimbursed the $702, always has an excuse and it's someone's else's issue. Absolutely ridiculous. Can't give less than one star or I would. Is November and till not resolved

If you need a passport photo, this location may not be the best place to go.1. The staff are ignorant about the government's requirement that the photo should have a white background---The photo I got had a pink hue to its background, and the lady asserted it would work. Turned out not qualified, according to my attorney and had to take a new picture 2. Camera not working---I went back to the store to have the picture taken again. The guy (named Connor?) refused to take the photo for me, saying he's not comfortable doing so and asking me to come back in one hour. So, one hour later, I went back to this store for the third time. Unfortunately, their camera was acting up, showing only a blurred tawny portrait. Disaster. Wasted more than one week or so.Eventually, they offered a refund, but it doesn't compensate the cost of my time and energy. Any service that you claim you can offer, please get it ready--the equipments, your staff's knowledge and so forth. That's just the basic rule of doing business.

Their customer service is awesome!!! I’m staying in the area and we needed a place to receive just 1 package. I called to make sure I had the correct address and that it was ok to have something shipped there. FedEx “attempted” delivery but claimed that the address was incorrect. After dealing with customer service and explaining to 3 people our situation they finally delivered our package to this UPS Store. They called me as soon as they received it and thanked me for my business. I will definitely be utilizing their services again!!! Thank you!!!!

Called to see if this location provides shredder service and they quickly walked me through the process over the phone.I brought 5 boxes, 60 lbs of documents covering 3 generations of confidential information.Connor and team helped load from my car, weigh and dispose in confidential bins.All I did was pay and receive my receipt!Great customer service - highly recommend!

Connor and his crew are the best! Our family has done last minute 12 month calendar pictures (very last minute; same day)calendars, bulk photo copying, mailing packages, and printing. Each and every time they stepped up to the plate with a smile and gladly assisted! They have done a super job during the pandemic with a 10 star service! This crew is my favorite go to place who I can always rely on! 👍😀👌

I have had a PO box here for five years, Connor has always been super helpful and so friendly. His staff used to be friendly, helpful too however ever since the SIP they no longer offer to help me out with my heavy boxes. This poses a real problem for me as I can’t lift them into my car. I miss the help and hope it changes as things ease up. A great business and I don’t know what I would do without the UPS Store...I do highly recommend Connor and his store.

This place is awesome! The staff is always helpful whenever I'm there for anything like dropping off packages or needing to package something to mail out. I'm so happy with this UPS store because I've had bad experiences other places. Sometimes it could get busy here, but just be patient. The staff is trying to do their best to help everyone who's there.

The owner of this store (Connor) gives exemplary service. Not only is he incredibly kind & pleasant, he's an amazing multi-tasker & it shows that he puts his customers first. I've been there several times when there was a constant influx of customers. He greets each one, acknowledging their presence & that he'll help them asap. He's super efficient. He greets his PO box customers like a friend, calling them by name. He helps people who come in unprepared to handle shipping or faxing (like me). And recently, I had 3 large packages to ship to my friend. I was telling Connor that I would probably only ship 2 of the packages & wait another month to ship the biggest to spread out the cost. Then I decided to just bite the bullet & ship all 3 at once. I didn't realize it until I sent my friend the tracking numbers, but he used his personal discount to help me out & reduce my costs & he never even mentioned that he helped me out. He was inconspicuously generous, not requiring acknowledgement for it, not drawing attention to it. I have had only great experiences at this store & that is entirely because Connor is truly kind & puts150% into his work. He is the face of his business. He's what makes it exceptional & personal.

I dropped off an Amazon return, and the young woman who handled my package was so quick and efficient I was out the door in less than a minute. She was extremely pleasant and personable. I will be bringing all my packaging business to the UPS Store from now on.

Extremely bad customer service. Incredibly rude store owner.I was simply looking to return my Amazon orders. Connor Bray, the store owner who refers to himself as "United Problem Solver" refused me service for not being able to wear a mask due to a medical condition and I also showed him my doctors note. Even after offering to wait outside or simply dropping off the packages outside I was told "there are rules that we all have to abide by" by Connor Bray. He said that they couldn't serve me if I don't wear a mask because "that's store policy" even though they had been doing so without any kind of problem for almost a year and he even called the police on me. When I asked to see this policy he told me that he doesn't have it right now because it's a weekend. Shouldn't he as a store owner have the policy on hand? Additionally our county guidelines clearly state that people with medical conditions are exempt from wearing a mask. And again, I was simply looking to return my orders, which would've taken less than a minute and I would've been out of the store, and resulted in me spending a much longer time in there.

I've been going here for years and this place is just super. They are fast, very competent, and friendly. Right now 1/25/2022 they are short staffed due to Covid. The site says they open at 8, but for now it's 9:00am. Conner is the only one working and he is just so pleasant even under these trying times.They have packing materials and the store is always kept clean. Kudos th this UPS Store👏👏

If I could give a negative review I would, they said masks required but the UPS drivers do not have any! The personal are illiterate and have zero respect for customers! To the branch owners get real with customers.

Fastest service i have ever received when returning an item! I didnt have a box or bag for my item and that wasn't a problem! The gentleman took care of it instantly and I was in and out in 2 mins. Also i was provided with a receipt for my box, as well as a tracking on my item. 5 stars!!

Had a horrible service today. I usually always have my mask with me but this time I really forgot. I needed just quick return for Amazon. I got inside and cover my face with my jacket neck and Connor who works there by not nice way said he is not going to help me bc I'm without a mask. He was the one who didn't have his mask either, he was wearing some scarf. So what's the difference between his scarf and my jacket? Same material. I asked him please to scan my return bc I'm already here and it will take 1 sec to scan. I said that I was walking to the store with my son 30 min. He was arguing like 3 min with me instead to scan return for 1 sec! I understand the California's policy but what happened with humanity? I'm fully vaccinated and covered my face! Connor refused many times by rude way saying I can just go out from the store and they are not going to help me. So bad experience!

I recently visited the UPS store Hollister to have a fitness machine I purchased online be repacked and shipped. Connor from the get go was a great pleasure to work with. His customer service leaves nothing to desire. He assured me he could handle my project and did. He even took it upon himself to schedule the pick up for this shipment. I would recommend this establishment to all, give them a try for any of your needs you won't be disappointed. I GIVE THEM 10 STARS !!!

I would highly suggest you use postal graphics as the folks in this store are more than unprofessional. when they make mistakes they are willing to try and save face by blaming others. Diana the manager was no help and rude. it shows in her employees work ethic and accountability. additionally, conner who is supposably the main manager but is never there recieved a returned package based on his employees error and instead of calling he kept it for a week. This was a schools internet device and the school was down due to this poor service and accountability. if you care what you are shipping use somewhere else.

Best customer service in the city of hollister! I visit this store almost on a daily. Most of the time, I am in and out. It is rare I’ve waited in line just a few min. No missing packages. Employees very friendly.

You guys should really put online that you’re only open 11am-4pm. So many people were at your door yesterday. I find it absurd how small businesses have no problem working a full 9-5pm shift and UPS can’t. I still haven’t received my phone package that had to be dropped off yesterday. I was planning on coming right now, but for some reason the store opens right before lunch time.

Friendly staff, they went above and beyond to help me find the correct address for my package. This UPS location is quick, down to earth, and overall an enjoyable experience whenever I'm in. I work in Gilroy and often times will hold off on shipping and instead stop by on the way home from work. Unlike Hollister, the Gilroy store is terrible and the staff are not friendly!

Dropped of a pre labeled package and as I’m walking out of the door the employee said they won’t scan it because I wasn’t wearing a mask. There is no mask mandate in the county or the state. Another customer that had a mask handed them my box while I stood there. Really?
