Lucky's is one of my go to stores. The prices are competitive. The store is always clean and staff does their best to get you out ASAP!! Bakery and meat dept always have assorted selections. The isles are roomy making it comfortable to shop even when busy. Lots of parking so you don't have to drive around looking for a spot. Wheel chair access and the shopping center has variety of stores. Auto zone, Mountain Mike's, Big 5, Water Store, Jack in the Box, UPS shop and Juice store as well.

My favorite place to shop. And I have shopped Lucky in Marina Salinas and Hollister. Hard choice between Marina and Hollister. Both are perfect for my needs.

I asked an employee today if they have more pork in the back , and he said thats all they have , just 3 packages in the case ? And its only 10 AM. Meat section is always almost empty . As a customer, it doesnt look good, and your store is not making sale.

Nice, clean store with aisles wide enough for 2 people to pass and not cluttered up with a lot of those cardboard displays for special items (a real pain to get by). Prices are the most reasonable of the larger grocery stores in Hollister. Sales can be a real savings. Meats are good quality and produce is fresh. Good selection for most everything offered. Cashiers and baggers are very friendly and helpful, many going out of their way to help you. Lucky's is my favorite grocery store in Hollister and I highly recommend them.Oct 14th Update: I don't know what has happened, but I went into the store today and it was like every item's price had risen by 50% or in some cases doubled in price! I don't understand it. During the pandemic I did, but this just doesn't make sense. How are people supposed to afford groceries when they have a limited income? Frankly it seems like greed to me. I'll be going to Walmart in Gilroy in the future.March 17, 2024Prices are climbing and show no signs of returning to anything close to pre-pandemic prices. I used to buy the 2 pound block of Tillamook Cheddar cheese every month, but it rose by over $2.50 this month so I can no longer afford it. A carton of 18 large eggs is now a ridiculous $7.49! Milk is over $5/gallon. It's absurd. I noticed the have installed a metal pipe fence with a gate you need to go through to get into the store now. I asked one of the cashier's if it helps with the thefts they use to justify the jump in prices and was told it doesn't. What the heck? What a waste of money. Hire security guards to stand at the doors and verify purchases with the receipt. It's what Walmart and a few other stores do! I am so disappointed in this store. It used to be a great place to shop with reasonable prices, but not anymore 😕

The customer service is great there, but there is one checker there that always comes through for me, her name is Jenavie. She is awesome and patient. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service provided.

The deli and most areas of this store are friendly and professional however the register people many times are very unprofessional talk disrespectful and make remarks of people if they dislike them, from the way they dress to where people is from, is very uncomfortable when they gang on the register to joke around and laugh mokingly when they close the store produce door. Help you and they don't tell you is close so you have to go back to the other door when sometimes is hard for the costumers to walk this is very unprofessional no sign to alert to people the door is closed or a comment about it, and sometimes talk more laud than necessary in a rude and bother way. I feel very insulted many times I go shop there things I need I have actually stop going as often because I don't wan to feel humiliated by the staff of someone who is suposed to be if not friendly at least professional.

I always have a great experience with this store. Always very clean and organized, friendly service, and employees always seem to be in a good mood. The only issue I have is crazy drivers in the parking lot acting like idiots. But that is not the stores fault, just cruddy peoples' fault.

Always a great place to shop. I like the staff there they are nice. And the deli department is always loaded with goodies. Just wish their hot wheels were a dollar like many other stores also wish they had a bigger variety of seafood. Over all great place.

This store is clean and well managed. With everything that is going on they have done really well keeping everything in order. They are well stocked with most things, soups are very limited as well as some waters. But if I can't find something at other stores I can find it here. Employees are okay, some are really nice, others just want you to go away, but all-in-all, they help you find what you need.

My cats are mad you have the cheapest deal on 16 pound friskies and you never have any. They don't eat other brands of cat food. Eat dog food instead and out of shape.Everyone in Hollister miss Kmart.

The primary pharmacist, Akram, has always been very kind to me and helpful. All of the employees I've encountered have been very professional and personable. I love this store all the cashiers in Clerks are the kindest nicest people I have met in a long time I will always go to the store to do my shopping I had one clerk help me today because I didn't have enough money and she helped me out and that was so nice of her I will never forget that younger people don't always look on to us seniors thank you with all my heart

I went to the bakery to look for a ice cream cake only to find one of the employees working in the bakery catching an ear full from who appeared to be the head of the bakery. The person being rebuked helped me order a cake last week and had great costumer service. She was so helpful. I was in the baking dept for about 7 minutes and noticed that she was catching an earful the whole time. I think the disgruntled lady was taking it way to far. I went up to her and thanked her again and thanked her for her all her help last week.I often tell my freinds to order cakes from Luckys however that might have just changed. I need to reevaluate the situation.

Disappointed that they had ALL Free and Clear on sale for $8.99, with the stipulation that you buy 5 for the discount. No one that worked there could believe it either.So 5 would cost about $50 with tax, last my father and INot really practical for anyone.HOWEVER we would have to find a place to store them forever.79 loads time's 5 bottles would be about 400 loads of laundry at 3 loads a week.Since it's not really something you see in large letters it's kind of misleading.

They followed my dad and I out of the store just because I was disabled. Not okay for a store to act like this and a rude lady said "we have to walk you out to get the cart because your son is disabled. " Never going back ever again. So disappointed and I do not recommend

You guys seriously need to monitor your freezer/fridge temps better. I've lost count of the times we've gotten sick off of perishables from Lucky. Last night my son got into Drumsticks my wife brought home before I could check them. They were not even close to resembling something frozen. Sure enough, he became violently ill.

My favorite grocery store. Everyone is helpful, and everything I need is there. Cashier's are quick and polite as well as the grocery baggers. Deli and Bakery workers are also polite and helpful. Meat department is kept well stocked. Store and restrooms are clean.

They need to update thier meat department to closed fridges, I've purchased meat that wasn't any good from here a few times. Some items I needed where not in stock for a few weeks,got tried of it even though I live a block away . Started going to nob hill for good meat or safeway.

The employees at self check out were rude an acting like we were going to steal when they clearly seen we were swiping every item. An when we asked for help the employee just stared at us an then answered us very rudely which made us feel like not wanting to ever shop there again very sad to have to experience that
