On 3/26, I came for my puppy's diarrhea issue with my 4year old daughter. It was amazing how there was all hands on deck where the whole entire staff was helping me and also entertaining my toddler. When more customers came, they helped them right away and still one of them was helping me and my daughter at the same time. They went above and beyond and that's what customer service is all about. I will keep continuing coming here for all of my pets needs.

1st time visiting looking for a specific dog food and treats. Unfortunately they're selection was not great but ended up finding a decent substitute. Giving it 4 stars for the lack of selection but 5 stars for service! Kenny helped me over the phone letting me know what bags they had available in the brand I was looking for. Then when I came in he saw I was lugging around my baby in a heavy carrier and offered a small cart to push him around. Then he showed me yo their food selection and carried the bag to the front and out to my car. Running errands with a baby can be hard and I truly appreciate the kindness and great customer service that Kenny provided. All around a great experience and will be coming back!

I really do like the mom and pop business vs corporate. The buy so many bags and your next one is free program is awesome. The self serve dog washing station is pretty amazing because it doesn't kill back like at home.. The star missing is for the fact that they close at 6pm and have gone a few times at 5:30 and they were closed. But things happen.

Pleasantly surprised at my first trip to this store. Trying to shop more local and they have a pretty good selection. Didn't find everything I was looking for but found enough to make it worth the visit and I will go back.

white female employee with short blonde hair and bangs going across her forehead, i'm sure her name is kate. so if you ever encounter her, just know she may be rude to you! today i went in to get some mealworms and the staff were very rude towards me, there were two ladies kate and another one at the register and one of them was holding a snake and i complimented the snake but kate told me, "thanks, but he doesn't like you, he doesn't like anybody." as a matter of fact they were both being rude to me. so i just got what i needed and left without saying anything else. last time i went in, there was a different girl and she was the nicest girl i've ever dealt with in that store! most of the employees need an attitude change or to be fired.

The owner saw that I arrived after the 5:30pm closing time tonight. I told him thats difficult for me since I work till 5:00pm. He opened the store and he and his nice cashier helped sell me the Grain free dog food that only this store in town has. The owner was so courteous, i cant thank him enough.

I like this place. All the employees are friendly and they work hard to find you what you want. They are knowledgeable about the pets they sell even giving advice whether it helps their store or not. They always greet me and my dog with a smile and work hard to get me what I need. Although a few of their products are a bit over priced. It makes it worth it with their vaccination events, dog wash, and fresh bones.

Terrible customer service. Bought a small cage I returned in a day, with the tag and all. The employee was polite but management was rude. Commanded me to take my glasses off and look him in the eye to make sure I wasn’t lying. Was aggressive about it and had a nasty attitude. Would never purchase from him again or return. customer satisfaction is number one in any business.

Came in to purchase items today, here it is posted that they open at 10am I arrive at 9:50 Park outside and wait as I see Kate the employee setting up outside. I see a customer walk up and she just gets very rude with the customer, I then see another customer at 9:55 Walk up and she again gets rude with customer. A third customer arrives waits in car and reproaches store at 9:57 and rudly says we dont open till 10:30 and just shines off the customer. In tuff times like the one we are all in I try and support local businesses. This most definitely haa made me decide to go out of town to get what I need for pets. I hope owner of managment dose something to correct this type of attitude with employees. I sure hope she is not manager or family of owner because business will not survive with this attitude.

Nice to have a local pet store in town. A bit pricey, but I would rather pay a little more and support a local business than drive out of town and spend money elsewhere. The staff is always friendly and they always have in stock what we need for our pets.

I think this place is great a little bit of high prices but overall nice place. I do wish they kept their betta fish in better places though. Also I think they should give the other animals more space.

Though they don’t carry tropical fish they do carry everything else and I mean the good stuff!They do carry a nice small collection of betta fish.Believe it or not they better than most of those big box pet stores.

My little english bulldog was suffering with so many allergies. I brought her in and thanks to the staff they changed her treats and her food to seafood select. She is doing so much better now. Im so grateful. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff

I have 4 month old kittens wanted to start feeding them canned food so off to Lil pals pet world. The employee recommended a few that customers state their pets really enjoyed. Purchased the ones she recommended. Opened one can up kittens ate it all up. It's nice to have a pet store in Hollister. Thanks Lil pals.

I was in the store today at 4:15pm and was treated so rudely by the white male cashier with tattoos and ear plugs (no name, just for description). I was encouraging the customer in front of me to slowly introduce the new flavor of the same food. That is when the cashier raised his voice and said, "not with this food" with the food you have yes, but not with this food! This is another reason to go on-line and shop with such poor service. I did research and found that no manufacturer recommends to not introduce new foods, even with probiotics like this cashier was raising his voice to prove his ego was right. I have also contacted the manufacturer to see if his claims are correct. Sad, not sure if he is related to the ownership, but he is a poor representative of a small pet supply store.

Love the selection, they have lots of cool varieties of pet foods, pet supplies, and they have live animals for sale, like rabbits and guinea pigs. They have feeder mice, and lots of fish. They even have several varieties of birds, mated pairs. And they have a loyalty program for certain kinds of dog food, if you buy 12 bags, the 13th bag is free.

Great store, friendly staff, large selection of pet food and supplies, feeders, fish, turtles, spiders, hamsters, snakes and more. They have pet events on weekends with shots and other services. They're good about answering the phone when you call them. Try them you probably won't be disappointed.

Great dog wash area. They need to order some water proof protection aprons. The existing aprons don't tie or are adequate to use to keep dry.
