Always a quick shopping trip, great customer service and inventory! Whenever I need something, their knowledgeable staff helps me locate everything that I need. They have such a wide variety of items and services that I feel comfortable that they will have everything I am looking for, and things that I didn't know I needed!

Have been a customer of Ace Hardware for the last there years. The service is mostly outstanding. I had never had issues with returning things I bought that either failed me which can just happen or that turned out I didn't need. In some regards they even beat Amazon and other competitors in price. Even though it is small compared to Home Depot I get most of the things I need for framing, plumbing, electrical and drywall. For outlets and switches they even beat amazon and other retailers.

Not the best! They send you coupons $10-$20 and never gets subtracted correctly.Watch out for the posted tag sales listed on the shelves.The cash register scanner always has problems reading, you end up paying more.This happen a few times, it's embarrassing! I hope it improves

For as many people that work there I always have to track somebody down .. I feel that they are not knowledgeable when I went in for a simple part for a Delta faucet a basic Delta kitchen faucet nobody knew what to do or what I needed !! Out of three employees not one person knew anything about the part I needed... It's a disappointment because before you moved to your new store service was great... You can walk in and they would greet you and help you find what you were looking for.. now you walk in no one will even look at you in the eye and I always have to seek out help.. last night I went in to purchase a heater and the guy that was helping a guy look for a lightbulb I asked him for assistance only to reach the top shelf which was around the corner, next aisle he totally ignored me and was down that aisle with the guy for a good 10 minutes instead of directing the guy wear to look while he came and helped me get my item off the top shelf and he could have gone back to the other guy and would have taken him like less than a minute but no I had to go walking around the store to find somebody which was actually the guy pushing the broom by the clothing area and he found me somebody to help me and both of those kids were great and very nice and helpful ...

What a pleasant surprise! They had a huge selection, and everything was top tier quality brands. Very glad to have a good alternative to driving up to Gilroy to one of the other big box stores here in Hollister.

So overpriced its ridiculous. I try to support local Businesses but when you are 3 times higher in price forget it. The items i bought were not at the price on the shelf then they tell me they have not been able to change the tags in the shelf yet . "WHAT"" THIS TOWN NEEDS A LOWES OR HOME DEPOT DESPERATELY!!Maybe then will Management pull the head out of the rear...

Nice selection. Sale prices are pretty good. Regular prices are high. Update 2.26.22: pretty good sale on plants today. 50% off of most of the established plants to make room for a new batch. Picked up a couple of 8 ft trees for less than $40! Usually can always find what I need at this Ace.

So very glad we have Ace Hardware. I needed to purchase a replacement for my worn out door handle and lock for my security door. It had to be removed and replaced the same day since it was very loose and worn out. I asked for the new handle be keyed to my house key. The work person who was going to help me install the new handle was only in town for a short time so I needed it asap. The cost was reasonable and thank you Alex for doing the job before closing for the day. Had the new door handle installed same day and everyone was able to use same key as the old handle.

Been here a few times and the staff are really top notch.It's a small-ish town so the service is definitely more personal and attentive.Good folks willing to go that extra step to say "You've chosen well on where to spend your hard earned $$$"That's really appreciated right now.Mask up because THEY CARE 🤗😊🔴⚪🔵

Went to buy items and saw a associate at check out being rude n mean to customers. She didnt say hi did u find all u need or have a good day no she was playing with her nails and making mean upset faces talking with attitude.A customer left item on counter n she was already taking to put back on shelf until customer said those r mine she made a mean look to the customer. Has the i hate my job attitude and no smile no courtesy. Looks like she is there for a check no customer service skills or manners. I luv all the staff but Alyssa is the one who is bringing the negative vibe n bad attitude to our local Ace. I personally believe if you are not there to help dont come to bring negative to a great place. Maybe someone needs to find another job.

Ace is always great. They always seem to have more than enough employees working and it’s never a problem finding someone quickly to help you. I only gave them 4 stars because in my opinion the prices are a bit high on a lot of items. But maybe that’s the trade off for having good employees to help you out.

I love the idea of having an Ace Hardware employee at the entrance of the store because either they guide you to the right aisle or call for somebody to help you out. It saves me time. So far, everyone has been nice and they do the extra mile to help you. Keep it up!

I have been shopping at Ace Hollister for years and have had great experiences. I agree that the person at the front entry is extremely helpful in guiding me in the right direction. I have bought about 10 cacti there and they are all thriving today. Shout out to Pat and Kerry Lyn who I have seen go above and beyond just their job duties!!

The employees are always friendly and helpful. And just as important, they usually have exactly what I need. From tools to plumbing to lighting to cleaning... from paint to keys to gardening to insect control... they have it all and a whole lot more. It's a big store and likely they have just what you are looking for.

My favorite place to go. 10 times better service than home depot that's for sure. I'd rather spend a few extra cents, rather than drive out of my way and deal with very poor attention and/or knowledge given with the employees

Ace is a great neighborhood hardware store. The associates are friendly and very helpful. You are greeted at the door with a shopping cart and asked, "can I help you find something?" Every member of their staff go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you need for your home improvement projects. They never say, "that's not my department". They have excellent sales and coupons.
