We take our two cats, once a month. We have allergies and bathing our cats helps. We have a long hair and one short hair. They both look great and love getting bathed. They will start hanging around our shower when they think it’s time for a visit.

They do walk ins to clip cat claws. My kitten was proving impossible, but they got it all done without hurting him in a couple minutes! Now I can play with him without bleeding!

We take it dogs there every few weeks on Wednesdays for the $2.00 nail clips. We have a whole pack of rescues so their Wednesday deal makes it possible to keep everyone nails short at a price we can afford. They are quick and kind. None of our dogs mind going at all and that is not their usual behavior. The place is clean and the people are friendly. I don't have any dogs that need grooming as they all have very short hair and we bathe them ourselves. However, since we go often I have seen many of the dogs that are groomed there. They do all kinds of cuts and they all look great. I think it's fantastic that they offer such an affordable nail deal. Really thoughtful of them.

We've used Country Groomers since 1997, in their original location. Colleen has always been friendly, outgoing and wonderful to our dogs. She's on our 3rd Golden Retriever now, and Lodi loves her. It's never a struggle to get him in the car, just tell we're going to see Colleen. He's always well treated, cared for and spoiled by the staff. He looks fantastic, and smells even better.

Did a walk-in for nail trims on our two smallish dogs. Prices were great, it was quick and dogs were handled kindly and gently. We will be back!

I took my pit bull mix here for a nail trim, and they had him out in minutes! He was not stressed at all, and I’m happy to hear that they didn’t reject him for his bully breed. I would definitely recommend them. For the price and service I received I will definitely be returning!Update: I stopped taking my dog here once we had a bad experience. My dog when I picked him up had his nails bleeding and dripping blood. Upon bringing him back inside to inform them, the groomer came out to put cornstarch on his claws (which is standard). The groomer mentioned there was another nail that was bleeding that how saw earlier and I was shocked to see it wasn’t treated earlier if it was noticed. He mentioned my dog was upset and it was hard to trim his nails, which I can understand. However, this is the only time he was upset and I truly believe it was due to his nails bleeding profusely.

Took our English Bulldog for her first experience at a groomers. She came back happy, looking and smelling like a millions bucks. My girl gets very anxious so I was super worried but she did well. The staff was super friendly and it was nice being able to find a groomer that will happily take her breed. Hoping that we’ve found her lifelong groomer 😊!

We have 2 dogs who both had 8:00 appts. and on multiple grooming visits didn't get called to after 12:00. Then we were told they needed pills to calm them...because leaving them a cage for 4 hours winds them up...I seen and talked to other customers who walked out for the same reason...its inhumane and the business should be shut down.Response to reply - Learn how to schedule, live animals should not be subjected to abuse due to the business owners inability to schedule properly. If you have an 8:00 appointment the animal should not be in a cage until 12:00 or for that matter even 30 minutes. Its inhuman to these animals. In just the couple of minutes from dropping off and picking up my pets, I have heard you tell owners they need to sedate there pets which you continue to loose business because you have no clue how to properly schedule.

This is the best grooming shop I have ever taken my dog to! This family run business is the most caring environment for your pets. My dog loves the employees so much! He gets excited every time we pull up and for a nervous dog, that’s saying something :) you can just tell how much compassion they have for animals at this place. It’s clean, friendly, and great prices. I highly recommend!!

I take my dog shorty there to get baths and they do a great job and he loves everyone there! He always comes back smelling really nice and his coat feels wonderful! Last time he went he had flees and they got rid of them all. Country groomers is a wonderful grooming shop with very friendly people!

They have been great with all of my dogs! I have a beautiful Australian Shepherd that they always do a wonderful job on. He also has a very bad back and they are very gently with him. Wouldn't pick anywhere else to take my dogs.

These are wonderful hard working people with loving tender care for your animal. In my case it’s my best friend jack who they never turn me down on a moments notice. 🤗😎 on a side note I’ve had the pleasure of becoming personally close to them and nothing but honest true love comes naturally. I love the people here. This is a lovely family run business and I know my fur baby is safe when I drop her off. Iris does a fantastic job grooming Anni and knows exactly how I want her to look. I highly recommend Country Groomers.

I took my dog in to get her nails trimmed and we were in and out in about 7 minutes. The staff is so nice and responsive. They were gentle with my dog who HATES to get her nails trimmed. I will definitely be back.

I had taken my two small shih tzu's there for a hair cut and bath. I went to pick up my dogs and they said that the puppy was behaving badly and bit the owners son and that he was not used to being bathed. untrue statement. I first rescued these dogs, a mother and her puppy and had given them a bath on the first day. All other baths and hair cuts were done at Petsmart in Gilroy. The dogs were behaving strangely when I brought them home. They didn't want to go pee or poop. I took them to the Vet's and she said that the puppy had an injury on his spine towards the tail end. It took me two weeks to comfort my dogs. After vet appointment, I went to Country Groomers and the woman and her son were rude and she just walked away leaving her son to fumble on words of comfort for us. Please do not take your dogs here

I have taken our dogs to Country Groomer since we moved to Hollister, for baths & nail clippings. They all are really wonderful people.Our smallest dog has thick.wavy hair, which I’m sure would mat easily, so I brush him thoroughly, even though we take them to a groomer, we still have to do our part in caring for our family pets, i even brush their teeth every other night. Country Groomer is best❤️

I am dumbfounded by negative reviews of Country Groomers. I have been bringing 4 different rescue dogs to them over the years and all of them have been very afraid and Reyes, Coleen and Iris and Katie are the best and if unfortunate incidents happen think of people who work in the zoos and have been working with animals, the same animal forever and then that animal turns on them and that's an animal they've lived with ... think of a strange dog coming in to people that the dog doesn't know and that dog's been abused and these people are so good with animals that I just can't believe negative reviews. Unfortunate incidents can happen by no fault of anyone but possibly the dog's aggression and fear. my dog loves them and he was badly abused by a man and he loves and has always trusted Reyes from day 1. I will go nowhere else.

I wish I could give these people a zero. Took my 10 lb. pet in for grooming after reading excellent reviews. When we picked him up I noticed blood tears and dry blood on the corners of both eyes. Both eyes were super red and he was not acting like himself. I asked the owner why his eyes were like that and she said because animals can sometimes get stressed. He had been to other groomers before and we had never had a problem since he is so gentle. I even questioned her as to why she didnt call me knowing he was 'supposedly' so stressed so I could pick him up. I didnt think twice and took him to the vet. The vet later confirmed his injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma. I was devastated to know that they had possibly struck him or severely harmed him to recieve those injuries. DO NOT take your pets here. Other pets have also sustained injuries at the hands of these people. The vet knew the grooming place since other animals have gotten injuries from them also. I even filed an animal abuse complaint idk how these people are still running. If you love your pet dearly avoid this place!!!

I brought my pet in for the first and last time. I cannot believe how this place is still running!!!! Not only did they abuse my dog, they made it seem like it was the dog's fault, an 8 lb. tiny dog. My co-worker's pet also died at this place. Please do not bring your pets here. Vets have also confirmed many pets sustain injuries in this horrid place.

Country Groomers made my two Great Danes look like dog princesses. Dealing with big dogs can be a challenge, but not for the dog whisperers at Country Groomers. I'm glad I found a local place that can do such an amazing job pampering my doggies. I'll be back there for sure.
