I was so impressed the doctors handling of my cat. I went in for the first time and had her nails trimmed and she was scared and unhappy and he was loving with her and caring ❤ all while being quick for her sake but also giving her short little breaks for comforting. My mom always took her pets to him and I see why!!

We went to them up until my dog passed at 19 years old. They are the best vet I've gone too, they saved my dog from his first stroke when he was 17, helped us find good solutions for his hip dysplasia.The vet and nurses were all so kind and gentle with him.Their prices are the some of the lowest I've been able to find in this area, especially for how compassionate they are with the animals.Definitely going to continue bringing my pets to them.

I take all my fur babies to Dr. Holt his staff is great. My dog's and cat's he's so well accomplished he even does farm animals. I've went to several vets in Turlock,all way to expensive. Hilmar vet has very reasonable prices and will even work with you.He reminds me of a younger Dr Pol (on TV). He will see anything and can handle everything. I highly recommend!!!!!

Great customer service. They were very kind when I called them. My dog want playing and his dewclaw got cut in half and was bleeding. I called everywhere and they said they couldn’t get me in and I would have to go to the ER. Hilmar vet was so nice I told them what had happened and they told me I could go in right away. Would definitely go back to them for any other needs.

Excellent! Took my little dog in for teeth cleaning and abstractions. This practice was a referral from my neighbor as I am new to the area. The care was a 10! After having 17 teeth pulled my little 7 lb, 13 year old poodle recovered wonderfully. I have found my new vet!

I love that the vet takes time to talk to you and listen to my concerns. My dog has surgery and I loved that he walked out to talk to me when I picked her up. He told me I can call if I have any questions and to ask for him if I needed to talk to him. I did call and he did answer the phone and talked to me . I did have to take her back because of a small infection but he didnt charge me for the visit. Hes a very chill guy. He has reasonable prices. I'm so glad I found him and my German shepherd has a vet that she likes.

I highly recommend Hilmar Animal Hospital. Great service & can usually get in to see the doctor in 2 days. Very reasonable prices. The veterinarian is both small and large animals. Dr. Pete Hulse at Hilmar Animal Hospital is very kind-hearted and gentle. And my dog loves him.
