We took our puppy Luna in to buy some treats for her 6th birthday, a birthday we never thought we would see after she was poisoned last year and almost didn’t make it, so it is a big deal birthday. The lady at the cash register was very rude to us the entire time. She never greeted us and when we got stuck with her at check out she was not pleasant at all. I have brought her in before and they love to see Luna. The guy how was there talking with another customer who was buying a turtle was so kind I wish we had gotten him.

I can’t shop here too often because the prices are high and I’m on a budget. I understand they’re trying to lower some prices but I’ll have to keep shopping there again for a while to find out. If that’s true I do know one thing and that is that the people who worked there are fantastic and very helpful.

My husband and I dont go to Petco very often and in this instance it was our first visit to this location.The store is clean and seems to be well maintained. Its pretty much like every other Petco however, during this visit, the customer service was a disaster. We had to ask for assistance twice and then the manager, instead of helping us, walked off and told another employee to help. It took over 30 minutes to get some fish and the store wasn't busy at all. If help was timely, we could have been in and out in 20 minutes, instead it took about an hour.Hopefully the fish we bought will live and it won't have been wasted time. Hopefully it was just an off day.EDIT: All the fish in the picture are still alive. 03/14/2021Update: Same fish still alive and well. Even had babies! 3/1/2024

Cashiers were rude. Rolled eyes when asking for help. They lost out in 300 dollars in sales due to the attitude. Store is very dirty , not organized. If i could 0 stars i would But to leave a review had to leave something

I am not one for places that sell mass bred pets, but if I'm in a pickle trying to find my senior pup's very specific food, this place is usually on point. And emps are always super nice here, too.

This review is for Felicia in the grooming department. We took our Great Pyrenees here today and she isn't very socialized to new people or experiences so I was nervous especially since this was her first professional grooming. FELICIA(the groomer) did absolutely amazing with her. Our dog came out happy and tail wagging and our dog was even really happy with Felicia. I trust from my dogs body language that she was okay, happy, and had a good experience and I can tell our dog really liked Felicia the groomer. She took her time with her which was great since this was my dogs first grooming. Also our dog came out sparkling white and incredibly soft!! Definitely would book with Felicia again.

Shelby did such an amazing job on my new rescue boy! He's a Great Pyrenees who's coat had been definitely neglected. Shelby did everything I asked with giving him a "fresh start" grooming, and I couldn't be happier. He's so white, soft, and OH SO fluffy now! Thank you so much!! 🙌🏼

The first Petco I went to (Bear Valley Road, Victorville, CA) was extremely dirty and smelled bad, I stood in a main aisle for several minutes waiting to be assisted, but no employees came to ask if I needed help, I had to track down an employee who was cleaning reptile cages. I was shopping for a specific dog food and was told it was out of stock, even though the website showed the item available for one-hour pickup. The store employee said when products are stolen they do not come off of the store’s inventory and may still show as available on the website. The employee was helpful and did in fact check the store room, but to no avail.I then went to a second Petco (Main Street, Hesperia, CA) and was pleasantly shocked by the night-and-day difference between the two stores. The Hesperia store was very clean, the item I was shopping for was available in abundance, and an employee contacted me almost immediately and asked if he could take my item (30 lbs dry dog food) to the front for me while I shopped for additional items. The store did not have shopping carts, which seemed odd, but the attentiveness of the employees more than compensated for the missing shopping carts. I have been a Petsmart customer for several years, although I am now going to shop at the Petco in Hesperia, CA.

Took my dog into Petco in Hesperia for a bath & groom. I usually go to the Petco in Big Bear, Dorothy is my go to person but she was booked till the end of June. I took the chance and brought him here. Not satisfied at all! The young lady Angel was rude, and looked like she didn’t wanted to be there. She then started to ask me how do I brush my dog and what I use as if I don’t already know how ( I have a 7 year old maltipoo) My dog’s past grooming style is on file, so as she looks it up on the computer she then says “ I don’t do bichon style cut on faces” I said that’s fine. She said it’ll take 2/3 hours for him, which I figured that cause usually that’s how long it takes for him. I left the store thinking I’ll return back in a couple of hours. Angel called me about one hour later saying that my dog was ready to be picked up. I was surprised she finished so fast! I’ve never had him be ready for pick up that quickly before. When I got there another lady was there and told me that Angel had left because she was sick. When the other lady brought him out I was mad at what she did to him! It didn’t even look like him, she practically shaved him. The excuse was that he was full of mats. In my 7 years of having him not one groomer has said that! They always say we can tell you take good care of him because his coat is healthy and we’ll cared for. In my opinion, because of her being sick she didn’t want to take the time to do her job properly, and shaved him without a bath. He smells like she didn’t bathe him. I have never had a bad experience anywhere else until today. I will take my business elsewhere. After seeing that I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience with Angel , I suggest that management think twice about keeping her around.

. Love to go for the treat bar, my dogs love the treats 🐾🐶❤ I normally spend over $15.00 to $20.00 just in the treat bar. I also got a bow ties for my chighughua and Frenchie. As much as I spend on the treat bar I would love to get discounts coupon. 😉

They don’t answer the phones here, always hard to reach anyone. Go to Petsmart in apple valley they’re a bit away but better in customer service.

Started pet training today ... what a great experience! Our trailer was named, Felicia. She has about 10 years of experience in animal training and boy does it show. I believe she said she specializes in big dog breeds so that was really nice for us. We met the dog groomer, Marley, the day before and she was very personable. She also has many years of dog grooming under her belt as well. All staff Personnel were very friendly and open to questions regarding your pets. If you have a pet, this is the place to go. Also, my sweet boy loves it there.

We brought our dog Nina in for grooming and couldn’t be happier! She doesn’t do well with other dogs, about half the time, but Aryan did a wonderful job and left us feeling sure that she’d be safe and looked after.Marley was also very friendly and addressed any concerns or questions we had when she rang us up—I know we’ll be back, for sure!

The glass aquarium tops by Aqueon are arriving with pieces missing, the piece to lift open the glass door and the plastic strip that goes along the side of the glass panel. The store employees know it’s coming brand new missing pieces because they told me all the new ones they get are like that way znd there are no replacement parts to order to fix them.
