I like Home Depot. They have a great selection of almost everything you need to fix your house or yard and the tools and materials to complete those projects. The prices are fair, and the associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes, you can even find help outside if you need it. They have a great selection of plants, too.I'm like a kid in a candy store when I walk into Home Depot . 😎

Is Home Depot in El Cerrito? It’s easy to access from Highway. There is a huge parking lot so you can park for sure, and a Shopping Molly where you can buy other things. This Home Depot has almost everything, and it has excellent customer service, and there is no line, so you can find and pay The self-checkout. They are available there to help you, and you can get out as soon as you are done with your purchase

You want any power tools? Locked up. You want a drill bit set? Locked up. You want a weed wacker? Locked up. Can’t walk out the entrance anymore. Horrible customer experience. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere where I don’t feel like I have to beg for the privilege of buying basic tools.

I love my Hercules Home Depot. I have driven a little further to El Cerrito Home Depot, but I find that Hercules has a better selection of items and their availabilities. The store associates are very friendly and very helpful.

I love that I spend about $10k a month at home depot and every once in a great while I have more than a few returns and I'm met with attitude at the returns counter... it's always the highlight of my day being worried if I end up making someone do their job. I. An electrical contractor and I do buy a lot of small items. The young lady scans 2 items and says none of the items in the cart are on my pro account. I say that is ridiculous, please try a few more...low an behold, items start popping up. Yes there were some items that were maybe to old or not carried at that store. I asked if we could try the credit card and she did the same thing, scanned 2 items and said none of the remaining items were coming up. I definitely don't need to be treated like the customer of the month, but I surely don't want to be treated like I'm an inconvenience. Probably should just go to Lowe's, Bayshore Supply, Graybar Electric, or American Emperor

Bought a plant , wall texture , gloves, paint brushes..and plasticl containers..all in one spot! All though it cost me a arm and a leg ..and left hopping out and needed help cause I only had one arm and leg left ..I ❤️ my plant..xo

I'm strictly a garden center shopper. Love their options, love that's it's located outside in a nursery, options change regularly. Does not sell azomite, which was a bummer. But was so happy with the quality of life from my new green friends.

It's less hectic than some busier store most times. Well stocked. Most employees very helpful. great parking. Has a number of electic carts for disabled folks that can't walk so well. Bathrooms reasonably clean. All the reason I rated a 4 star.

I keep getting broken kitchen (Hampton bay) cabinets from my online special order. Instead of reordering the cabinets I need they have just returned the item the last few times further delaying my project. Customer service has gone downhill big time! I have been back for the same upper corner cabinet 5x now! 4x it was broken and time before last they couldn't find the cabinet. I ordered 10 cabinets and 6 of 10 were broken, so many trips for nada...bummer. They should start to remove simple packing to check cabinets on arrival to ensure they are not broken since the problem is apparently quite prolific.

You know what this place just sucks. I live three minutes from here and have been going here constantly to buy products for my home. The real issue is trying to find someone to actually help you when you have a question. I was there last night and wanted some laundry detergent (which is locked up). Asked two different people three times to get someone to unlock the cage. Nobody showed up so we gave up and left.ETA.. pro tip if you want something small, order it online for pickup at customer service.

This store is poorly managed. On Tuesday morning 9/19/23 I visited the store to buy some stuff. I decided to avoid the self checkout because I had a bunch of loose hardware. I got in line at the only checkout that was manned. There were five people ahead of me, but it took me more than an hour checkout!!! The management of this store put an untrained checkout person in the only line that was open, and he had no idea what he was supposed to be doing -- I really feel sorry for the guy; and I feel sorry for all of the employees at this Hercules branch store. I will be switching to Ace Hardware for the foreseeable future; and if I need something from Home Depot, then I will go to the Martinez store.

We visited on 7/10/23, looking for a specific length of flexible spa tubing to complete a backyard project. The store only had a full roll; some Home Depots would just say "your problem, you have to buy the whole thing," but Sylvia helped us out, and flagged down Jose to cut the length we needed. It took a little while, but it was excellent customer service.

Walked the entire store by ourselves looking for what we needed. Employees excitingly talking amongst one another...hiding in the aisle. Seemed like forever. I finally interrupted and employee's tone sounded like he didn't want to be at work and as if WE were bothering him. 👎👎👎 Tried to approach another employee. Waited patiently for him to finish with a customer. As soon as we were going to ask a question, he ripped his Home Depot apron off!!! And THIS is why I always tell people NOT to go to Home Depot Hercules. Martinez is worth the drive for happy, knowledgeable employees with great customer service! Facts!

It seems this store is relatively clean. I like the layout & employees are nice. I enjoy looking at all the beautiful plants and flowers. I have been able to find everything I need except vinyl flooring, they told me the cutter was broken down or no one knew how to use it. Had to travel to Alameda for my flooring needs. Blew my mind. Seems like they are not concerned about being a one stop shop anymore. Bogus!!!

I had a neutral opinion on this location since it’s close to home and I only expect the bare minimum of service and the cashiers are always friendly. That was until my friend went there recently and had the following experience right after Black History Month ended: “Today I was targeted by a member of Home Depot Hercules staff…!!!! Was purchasing floors with ms Simone. She quoted me a set price for flooring…!! So I was buying when a manager(Kyle) came over to see what we were doing…. He came and changed my delivery price from $70 to $90… to that I didn’t care but it should of been my 1st red flag… then he said because of where I live the cost is $189… To that I wasn’t concerned & agreed but is now red flag #2.. when it time to pay he says I remember we were supposed to mark these up and change the price a whole $1000 more…!!! And when I informed him im not paying that he replied “Why should he give me something for free & make his store lose $1000”…!!! I asked to speak with the store manager he replied he’s the store manager (that was a lie) I was denied corporates number and told I can google it if I needed it…!!!!”

NEVER buy plants or fertilizer at home Depot. The plants are tiny and unhealthy, never watered while priced at insanely high prices! Options are Trader Joe's for nice large plants at amazing prices; also try a local nursery. Any place but Home Depot.

I didn't have a pleasant experience at Hercules Home Depot earlier today. The measuring crew didn't their job right. Instead, they blemd the manufacturing company. They have a poor customer service when I asked my refund. It's a mess. If I have a choice, I would not back to that store again.

Terrible, terrible store. Went to pick up a simple lightbulb order I’d purchased online. Should have been a quick in and out, right? No. Two people behind the returns/pick up counter with a long, long line while at least 7 other employees just casually walking around the store. I asked if someone else could help them and they paged the manager who never responded. No one knew where he was, and no one else was trained to help with a simple pick up order. I walked out without my order.

Worst place to pick up saw blades and bits. Used to pickup and go. Now they think I'm thief andbgoing to steal. So I have to ask aCashier to unlock the cage for a person that never comes.what are you doing? You are racist homedepot,I buy a lot and never stole from you

If it is at all possible, please avoid the use of this particular Home Depot. I NEVER post bad reviews but my current and continued delivery experience has left me highly disappointed and greatly mystified. Paid for nearly 2k in material which I picked out in the store, paid for a 4 hour window delivery which will now be sectioned into 2 additional deliveries and was unsuccessful in getting the store to reschedule the 2nd delivery which did not work for our work crew. I was told the delivery delay was due to merch coming from 3 locations BUT I selected my merchandise at the time of purchase to ensure the quality of the products I would receive. Attempted to contact the store and corporate office for assistance to no avail. Called regarding damaged pieces received and I was advised to contact another store as they were responsible for that portion of the delivery????!!? Customer service is beyond horrible. I am truly disappointed....

I always enjoy coming to this Home Depot. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. Sometimes the line can be a little long but self check out is a breeze. There's always an employee around the corner available to help with a question. Granted, not all know the answer but they never hesitate to ask a coworker. Returns have always been easy. I'm sure I'll be visiting more often being a new homeowner and will be sure to update my opinions.

We rented a Roto Hammer in the afternoon for 4 hours. When I came to return it they were closed. We came back early morning to return it but they charged us extrafull day. Talked to the Manger and supervisor who were not helpful either. I wished they could just verbally indicate that they close early or give me heads up.
