This seems to be the only place left in Hemet for Taste of The Wild dog food!!! They set aside a bag for us and held it until we could get across town. My dog and I are very grateful for this store! Nice store, clean, and friendly helpful staff. All dogs allowed on leashes, not just service dogs!

Fran and her team in the salon are AMAZING!!! From small to large you can be certain that your pet will be well cared for and loved like they are their own. I take my Giant Schnauzer more often than needed because they make him look THAT awesome!! It’s addicting! Thank you Fran! Chippy loves you!!

They never have enough help in check out, and they allow anyone to disturb the cashier with stupid questions. The associated are more concerned about hand sanitizer, then helping the customer check out, when you are the 3rd person in line and it takes 30 minutes to check you, there is a problem with management.

they have the prettiest salt water fish and anemones here! I like the way the store is set up and it's very clean. my kids always have a blast in here and so do i!

Their fish dept manager is knowledgeable and willing to offer advice. I really appreciate that she also has koi so can offer insight on those as well as aquarium fish.

Bought a 29 gallon tank, tank was shipped with the seal coming apart. Took it back in for exchange, and was told no worries, as if I was apologizing, was not helped to get a 29 gallon tank from the bottom of a stack of 25 tanks with the 29 gallon on the bottom. Was shamed and humiliated because I wanted to talk to the store manager, told Twila they had poor customer service, she couldn’t look me In the eyes and was told to leave. Wyd did I do wrong besides want to exchange a defective tank. And to top it all off, all the 29 gallon tanks had faulty seals. Twila was rude in front of other customers and this is embarrassing and wrong.

Very expensive, but I guess that's its supposed to be expensive, due to the fact that I am a pet parent and the company in general takes advantage of that. Doesn't always have what I need or want. The puppy training classes and grooming are awesome!!! Trainer took time to train both of us. Groomer took time to learn about how my pup, aWire Fox Terrier, is supposed to be groomed so she doesn't look like a is a snauzer or other type of dog when she is done!!!Staff is very helpful when asking questions!

I recently went to get my dog groomed, he came back with a big cut and bleeding scab below his chin. He was itching too much after his service, later to find out he had fleas !! My dog does not go out anywhere outside to a possibility to get them . I called the store , the manager got on the phone and was rude ! Tried to say there was no possibility of my dog to get them in her store. She tried saying he probably got it in the parking lot . I did not let him down anywhere.

***Check your products before leaving the store!!! I just (11/9/23) purchased a 6 pack of aquarium filters and replaced one before looking in the box to see that i only got 4 when i purchased 6. My fault for assuming i could grab a box off the shelf and that box would contain the amount stated.If you use frozen fish food, this is the place to go! They always have at least one thing my picky fish will eat. Usually, there are many options to chose from, unlike a certain other pet store just down the road.

Kind of got offended. I had never been in the store before, so I didn't know the layout. When I asked an associate where the item I wanted was located, she pointed and was vague. I ended up finding it, but not really where she pointed. Then the line to checkout was super long after 10 minutes, and another register was opened. But that person was moody too. If I hadn't waited in line so long, I would have just left. But trust me, I won't go back there.

Serenity was very kind, welcoming and informative. We told her we were new parents of a fur baby and she filled us in on the benefits of shopping at Petco. She also told us all about the services available and invited us to come back the following week to meet one of the trainers. I also love the layout of the store. Everything is so easy to find! We visited another pet store in town and the layout was confusing which made our shopping experience overwhelming. Petco is much MUCH better! So glad we decided to stop by. This will definitely be our go-to for all of our puppy's needs.

Everyone is pretty nice in this store but I do NOT recommend doing the PUPPY TRAINING CLASS!!!! There was older woman teaching I believe by the name of NANCY who was extremely rude! I simply walked up to the puppy training area to observe in order to make a decision on buying the service for my dog. She immediately asked if I needed something so rudely as I walked up to the area. That is not professional nor good customer service. I have been to other petco and been able to observe trainings if you do not want distractions then why not have a private room. She should be fired for such disrespect especially in front of a client

I came here knowing it's a massive pet store, thinking they have what I need...Nope! And not a employee in sight, it was kinda bizarre as I observe many others starting to collect at the register looking to see a possible cashier...Nope. so disappointing and amazing at the same time. Amazed that no one walked out with product in hand. I'll stick to Kahoots in menifee, better prices anyway. I would not give the 1 star but you can't use 0 stars
