I was debating leaving this review, but I don’t want other dogs or owners to go through what my dog did. We took my 9yr old Maltese poodle here for a cut. She’s been to this groomer before but I’m unsure what went wrong this time. When my dog came home she was extremely uncomfortable and developed a very very nasty infection in her private parts the very next day. My dad, who dropped her off and picked her up, told me how dirty the space was. Management was responsive, which I appreciate, but honestly we will never be back. My dog suffered so much after her appointment. It’s not worth it.

I been taking my dog here since she was a baby I love this place. I was much more this happier this time with the results I stop taking her here for a while because couple months I had bad experience. But hope from now on is same results and continue to do business with them and also my dog to be not scared and come home happy not scared or mad.

Recently tried this new place for my baby Rosie, recommended by family I was so impressed the last time I took her to a past groomer she came back very aggressive and stressed and she is not usually like that, when I brought her here I was scared since it was new place for her but she did great she came back extra happy I loved her haircut exactly what I asked for will definitely be coming back.

Taking my Long Hair Chihuahua here was a wonderful experience for Layla and myself. Inside was very clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about handling dogs. I will be back and send my friends.

Love this place and our groomer, she is so good with our puppy Lucy and does such a good job and she looks so pretty with her hair trimmed and smells so fresh.. We went on vacation for the Fourth of July and got so many compliments on how cute she is.. I recommend this place the people there are nice and our Groomer Viviana is awesome and so gentle with our Lucy

I gave my 4 month old puppy for a haircut and I was not informed right away that the puppy will not be cut short. They only cut off his face, nails and bathed him for $60. If I had known this right away, I would not have left the puppy in this place. I am angry and dissatisfied. I feel cheated. I do not recommend

Took my 5 month old goldendoodle in for a first cut and when I picked him up I was told that she only did his face and his paws because he was too scared. I asked for a puppy cut and she shaved his nose and face all the way down and cut his the top of his head really short and left the rest of his body completely full. My puppy looked like a cross between a schnauzer and a platypus. Suggested I bring him back in a few weeks to get the rest of him cut. Hard pass.

Previously top dog better groomers. When requesting a schnauzer cut they should know what that is. Not just cut everything off and leave eats long.

Top Dog has been a great place for my 4 dogs to get their nails cut. While I have not used them for other services, I definitely would do so. They are a great business to have in Hayward. Try them if you haven't already. Service and care for your loved one (pet) is 100%.

Very friendly staff! Our senior pug is always well taken care of and always keeps his ailments/injuries in mind if there are any. Somewhat unnecessary, but we always love seeing him come out with a new accessory like bananas, ties, etc.

Since the owner of top dog has retired I miss her so much because she knows exactly what to do for my dog. Which he been going there since he was a puppy. Now that she have left. I wouldn’t recommend going here again. I’ve a Maltepoo and if I tell you when I picked up my dog. My dog look like a tall Chihuahua he have no hair on him at all now I’ve to wait years for all his hair to grow back. Ugh very disappointed. I’ll be finding him another groomer. Because my dog will not be going back there at all.

Quick, efficient, professional. Great service, but really expensive. It takes 5 minutes to get my dog's nails trimmed, and it somehow costs exactly the same as my gel manicure that takes an hour.
