This fish shop has been in Hayward for a lot of years the customer service I feel is good for a one man show and the fish are healthy and won't die if properly taken care of Opposed to petsmart which the fish die more times than not we don't have shops like this around for the serious fish keepers like we use too

This place has been here for a very long time and is an excellent part of the Hayward community. Their stock is always healthy, and even though it's a small store, they have a great variety of fish and other aquatic animals! They also have plenty of dry goods as well to maintain your tanks and water dwelling friends, as well as a good variety of plants for all levels of aquarists.

I own many aquariums and had a question about shrimp. Although this spot had an eclectic selection of fish, which I loved it felt like I was bothering the clerk. Won't be back.

I got some freshwater fish about a month ago. They’re all very healthy and happy and were well taken care of by the store. Staff was also helpful and friendly.

This store has lot of freshwater and salt water fishes. You can also find variety of plants. The price is on higher side ( almost double of the amount in PetSmart / Petco ) but I can see the fishes are healthy and well maintained here.

This shop is unique and has fish murals in and out. Great selection of fish, fresh and salt. Great selection of products too. I finally found the right piece of driftwood here at a good price!

This place is a Hidden Gem! I can't believe I've been here 20 years and never heard of it. Thanks to the referral from a kind gentleman at PetSmart, I have found my new go-to lfs. They have plenty of selection in such a small place. I was able to find nerite snails and Amano shrimp for my planted tank. The owner does particularly well trying to maintain order in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic.

Great honest people, I had my moms card with me to pay & it had her picture on the back of it so when it came time to pay he was a little suspicious but I assured him & offered to call/FaceTime my my mom to prove it, he said it’s okay just next time bring your own card. Also I only got about $20 worth of shrimp if someone was going to try & rip the store off you’d assume they’d want some exotic expensive fish

The only local fish store that I'm aware of. They have a great selection of freshwater and some saltwater fish! The employees are always super helpful and are always willing to answer questions. It's great to support local business!

Excellent Customer Service! They are happy to answer all your queations. They have such a great selection of healthy fish! I have several fIsh I purchased here that are thriving. The tanks are always clean and well maintained. I like to shop here because the prices are better than the box stores. Support your local businesses!

The guy in the store seemed very standoffish until he seen I had money ready to spend. He never offered any help so I started asking other customers questions. I don't like to play the race card but I have to assume he doesn't associate or deal with black people often. If I didn't have my family with me then I certainly would've left without getting anything. I gave them a two because they had a nice small variety of fish. However their attitude is very unfriendly to new customers.

Excellent shop for aquarium fish and supplies.Sam at the store was nice and helpful. The service made it a great experience to shop there.The fish also seem to be much better cared for than the chain pet stores. Live plants are in most of the tanks, water between tanks is kept separate, and there are some less common fish at the store.The outside of the store is painted with sea life which helped make it easier to find.

I have been customers of this store for 5 years. This is a small store but it supplies a large varieties of fish, food, medicine and aquarium supplies. Their price is generally higher if you can find the same thing at chain store like PetSmart. However, their fish tanks are always clean in store and the fish I bought are all very healthy, I can tell they treated the fish well. The people work there are really nice and always provided me helpful tips when I called them all DM them on Facebook

Never shop at this store. The white dude cool but the asian dude & sam are horrible. They're fish always dies in couple days & they blame it on the water. They even have dead fish at the store. I bought fish that even had ick on them. Petco & petsmart fish are way better & it sucks today this....

Excellent selection of fish and helpful staff who care about the fish and make sure they go to a good home.Look up how to set up an aquarium before you come here to buy fish and set yours up properly. They won't sell you any fish if you're not set up properly because they want to have a good experience and turn this into a lifelong hobby.

The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and customer friendly. The store offers a good variety of fish, aquatic plants, and accessories for both fresh and salt water aquariums. Fish health is always a concern when shopping for new members to add to the aquarium. We have made numerous purchases from Superway Aquarium and have not experienced any significant problems. Their fish seem to be in good health and Superway Aquarium has become our "go to" source.

Best local fish store in the Hayward area, it's one of those mom and pop shops you really get that vibe and feel for when you want sound advice, better products than a chain can give you and best of all the variety in fish. I myself frequent weekly for supplies and would chose this place over any other. Especially since they're so close. Please support places like this, it's worth every penny.

After our local fish store in mountain view closed, we went on search for a new one. We scoured the east bay, and this was by far our favorite place. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a GREAT selection of freshwater fish and they're well priced. Tanks were clean, fish appeared healthy. Happy to say we found our new fish place!
