Nice to have a livestock feed store “close” by in the suburbs! I just wish I knew their true schedule. Website says they’re open 6 days a week, and until 5 pm weekdays. I stopped by on Monday and they were closed, so I called Wednesday at 3:30 pm, and no answer?

Love this store. Been coming here for 3 generations for our dog care items. They are super nice and knowledgeable everything we are in. Recently moved back from PA after being gone for 3 years and walking in there is so nice cuz the atmosphere is just as welcoming as I remember! I hope this place stays in business for my kids and grandkids to see and make it 4/5 generations

Every time I've gone here they get me whatever I'm asking for,they don't play stupid and force you into buying something else, peanuts in a shell are not that freaking hard. Anyways these guys have always been helpful and the 25 lb bag of peanuts it's only 50 $51 and that's before tax and the place I usually get by peanuts for 25 lb bag it starts out at 65 and that's before tax so I think you can see the savings

Close has been my go to store since my dad took me there in the 70s!Always competitive pricing and best customer service.I dont really feel like a customer when im there. Its more like getting supplies from a neighbor!

Great feed store that has been in the area for decades, hence the great prices. Pat is pragmatic and no nonsense about rearing animals, and will suggest cheaper or even free solutions to your questions and problems instead of selling you the remedy he has in store. He is a rare shopkeeper that truly looks out for his customers. It's a great place to pick up poultry needs (not coops, though he will find someone who could build one for you).

Best feed store in the Bay Area! Love everyone because their so helpful and kind. The owner always takes the time to answer your questions and your never rushed. He always lays cardboard down in my SUV when I’m buying hay too. His team is great too. His son is amazing at customer service and always has a smile for you. I’d never go anywhere else. Finally, the manager of the shop is so helpful too. If you don’t see it on the shelf he’ll order it for you. This amazing feed store replaces all the online suppliers because people really do make the difference. ;). Thank you for being so helpful to me and my horse!

Love love love this place! Super friendly and they load your items while you pay. I come here twice a month for black oil sunflower seeds, wild bird seed and squirrel food. They ALWAYS have it in stock.

They have great customer service. Most of the items I purchase are in 50lb bags. My items are loaded in my car the minute after payment. No waiting. The only negative aspect of this store is parking. Close Feed and the auto shops customers fight for parking spaces on most days. Otherwise, I love this little store.

The guys are knowledgeable, honest and friendly. They know what you need because they have their own animals and have been running the store for years. The prices are better than a pet store and you do t get people who think they know because of their jobs they actually know. And if something happens out of their control. They will try to make it right.Oh and they load for you! You don’t even have to ask. Try and find that else where.

I was on my way to Close Feed and was hitting some traffic. Now mind you, they close at 5:00 and I knew I'd be there close to that time if not later and I really needed to pick up grain for my horses. So I called them and told them I was on my way but I was hitting some commute traffic, could they wait for me? It doesn't hurt to ask, right? And they did! They asked what I was gonna need, had it ready, were loading it in my Tahoe and I hadn't even paid for it yet. These guys are the next best thing to wonderful. Now that's Customer Service!!!
