We hired these great folks for a long river shuttle that included keeping our vehicles safe for 4 days and I highly recommend them. They communicated swiftly, showed up exactly as planned, shared what info they had and were friendly. When my group (not them at all) messed up our take-out, they went WAY above and beyond to help us out with kindness, grace and patience as well as a very creative solution! Super friendly, good, trusting people all around!

Honestly, we didn’t stay at Forest Lodge though we very much wanted to. Our flight was so delayed that we couldn’t make the first leg of our road trip in time. We asked for a no charge cancellation of our reservation through the website. I truly did NOT expect them to grant our request but they DID! What incredible kindness. Thank you guys so much! I hope everyone takes note that there are still nice people out there.

The room was very nice and clean and the staff made us feel right at home. The woman that cleaned our room especially touched our hearts 💕, we took this trip to get our minds off of my husband's recent diagnosis with cancer, so we had completely forgotten about the holidays, we were just enjoying each other's company. Christmas Eve we got a knock on the door and the house keeper handed us a gift 🎁. It touched us deeply. In our short stay in Happy Camp we were reminded of what true community, friendship and family is all about and thank God still exists. We left our hearts in that little mountain community.

I wish I had more than five stars to illuminate. I travel the State, and I have stayed in some pretty nice places and some pretty grim places. I don't think I would rather stay anywhere else. Andrea, Susan and the family give their all to keep the rooms clean and provide the guests with whatever they need. There is a BBQ Grill outside and a grocery store nearby. There is not much in Happy Camp. I consider the Forest Lodge to be an integral part of the community. Serving a noble purpose. Hats off to you guys.

Really good room's....$80-$95 for a room but they have free wifi, HBO & microwaves in each room which helps keep you & your family entertained during your stay.Walkability: In the middle of town so you can walk to a gas station, coffee stand, plenty of restaurants nearby too & Fairchild hospital is up the street as well in case of any emergency occurs during your stay.

Awesome place for fire season owner has been more than accommodating for our R&R needs even under the heavy room requests. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the A/C is most welcomed!! Walking distance to both grocery store to BBQ steaks at the onsite motel BBQ or frozen dinners to store in the in room fridge and microwave! Also within walking distance to the pizza restraunt (which is amazing!) Wonderful stay!!

Came to Happy Camp to take care of family business. We stayed at Forest Lodge Motel.Rhonda and Ioben We’re there to check us in. What a wonderful experience to have such nice people to check us in and make sure our stay was a great experience. Room was very nice and clean and we also opted for the kitchen which really made our stay comfortable. Such a blessing meeting this nice couple. Would recommend staying at the Forest Lodge Motel just to be at a friendly place. Thanks Rhonda and Ioben for The hospitality!

Under new host also new to the area. Seems nice just not sure of our little community. Please ask the locals about the area we are slower a d it does cost more to eat out here but that is because it cost more to bring thi gas into Happy Camp

stood here a few months back, but I forgot to leave a review. staff was nice, rooms were clean, and it was super quite. they even had parking available for my diesel truck. the pizza place down the street is amazing!

The sheets were dirty, but the manger brought me clean ones, apologized, and replaced them when I requested it. The rest of the room was pretty clean. Very reasonably priced.

The TV didn't work, the ice machine was broken, and the price wad way too much for the room we got. We'll be staying elsewhere next time we go to Happy Camp!!!!!

I found them rude. Our families knew each other and were close. After my dad passed and I was left solo, they banned me from the motel and told this whole tiny town of HC my personal business of me being an addict. Totally inappropriate.
