I have to brag a little about the hair salon here. I actually didn't know they even cut hair here but ran into a friend who recommended it. Andrea was my stylist and she did amazing. Fun to talk to and did an amazing job. When she walked my hair she massaged my scalp. It was awesome!!! Prices were great and I'll definitely be back. Thanks Andrea, you made a customer for life!!!3

After so many years...of JCPenny shopping...I still enjoy this Department Store. Good Prices and excent costermer service...even though Walmart might save you one dollar...I still love Penny's. Because of the quality of the clothes.

The store had EVERY exterior door locked at 6pm on a Friday night during Christmas season. My mom and I knocked on the only door that did not have the cage wall and all of the staff ignored us. (It was obvious) We finally accessed the store in the mall entrance. When we complained the staff barely acknowledged us. Please note corporate that this is the ACCESS BY THE HANDICAP parking.

Very clean store, well organized and for the most part good customer service.However, its stuffy and feels hot like the AC, if any, is on set to 79. Selection of clothing is minimal which can be frustrating. But on the bright side online JC Penny's is full of good deal.

Rhis JcPennys is the worst! The older lady that works the cash register in the mens department only caters to spanish speaking customers if you do not speak spanish she is extremely rude to you. I have watched this lady during serveral different visits to the store ignore people and then proceed to help someone speaking spanish right away, I have watched as she had a long line and two individuals once again spanish speaking came up to return and buy items and she took them right away and they didnt have to wait in line. I watched her do the same thing today and then yell at all of the rest of us waiting in line that we should go to the women's department so we didnt create a line, even though the womens department was just as bad with another elderly lady that didnt know how to use the POS system (she even told a customer she didnt know what she was doing)The only dressing rooms they have open are in the childrens sections which is very weird to have grown adults in a childs dressing room.The management needs to get this store together immediately!

Penny's has the best husky jeans for my son and plus size children's clothes for my granddaughter. And skinny jeans for my other son. Nice clothes. But, definitely wait for sales. When they have sales, they are good. Otherwise, the prices are pretty high.I got very frustrated waiting for someone to open the fitting room. We asked the customer service desk to get someone. She called. We waited 20+ minutes. Had to ask again. Still no one. We asked AGAIN and finally the customer service clerk used her key and opened the door for us.Security was not good. No one checked the clothes we brought in, or brought out of the fitting room. Good thing we are honest.

Good variety and depth of inventory. It is no compliment to customers to artificially inflate priced and then post discount signs. We are not that gullible anymore.

They don’t believe in hiring black people. I’ve only noticed mexicans and white working there. I applied 4 times and they didn’t hire me. And yes I do have the experience working for JCPenney. Work their for 5 years

Came in to buy my daughter a pair of pants she needed for an audition at school tomorrow. We've never been to this particular JC Penney but since we were right here we decided to give it a try. We asked an Associate where the Juniors section was. He had to take his air pod out of his ear for my husband to repeat the question. The Associate proceeded to show us little girls. We asked about teens. He said that was all they had. So we ventured around the store to find "young women's". My daughter found a pair of pants and asked to use the fitting room. The Associate told us the fitting rooms are only open Thursday through Sunday.Unfortunately, my daughter needed these jeans for her audition at school tomorrow (we were at the store on a Wednesday).Save yourself the trouble and go across the street where you can find Marshall's, Old Navy, Target, or even Wal-Mart who A) do not allow employees to wear air pods while on the sales floor and B) who allow use of their fitting rooms on weekdays.Note to JC Penney: This is retail. A perk of a retail store is to have a shopping experience where you can ask an Associate for help and not feel like you're interrupting the latest pod cast. Another perk of retail stores is to have the luxury of trying something on and seeing how it looks.If stores want to stay open during what is a VERY tough time for businesses then I would suggest reconsidering simple things like a fitting room. Just my opinion

I went in to JCPenney to go in another department store. JCPenney is a great place to shop from clothes, bedding and appliances. The store is clean the employees are very helpful. No hassle return policy. Oh, don't forget the shoe department they have a variety of styles. Don't forget to use your coupons. I recommend this place to family and friends.

Just trying to find some nice guys earrings and the lady was very rude acting like we couldn’t afford them and told us to come back when there was a sale. We can easily afford any of those earrings just thought it was very rude to act like that and come off that way towards a paying costumer.

I went through JCPenney to go-to another department store. JCPenney has the best clothes at a reasonable prices. They have appliances, curtains, jewelry, and toys. Employees are very helpful and can assist you in whatever you need. I recommend this place to family and friends.

I don't go here much now that Sephora is open. It's a huge wall inside of the store that you have to walk around and it made the store feel more cluttered, since they don't have anywhere to put merchandise. The lights that light up the huge obstruction make it hot inside the store. I have not even noticed an increased in for traffic since the opening.

For years now, I've shopped at Penney's and always loved it. Unfortunately like many dept. stores who have now closed, I feel this will be the fate of Penney's as well. The shelves are cluttered and unorganized. The staff are friendly, however, it's difficult to find a salesperson to give one to one service. It's obvious the store is operating with a skeleton crew.Bottom line is that Penney's is no longer the fine department store as it used to be and that's a shame.

My daughter was lost in this store for about 15 horrifiing minutes and the staff in this store was amazing! They called a code and everyone stopped what they were doing to find my baby! I can not explain how thankful I am to these people. :)

Very clean and not too much of a wait at check out. They have my son's size of pants in stock which is hard to find in Hanford. The changing rooms are clean. A lot of people travel from Visalia to Hanford because of how well it is managed.

Went to get my daughter a onesie they have made for adults. She is using it as a costume for a Halloween party she's going to attend. It was in sale, which we didn't know so paid $20.00 less than wr ecpected. That is always Great. Friendly staff and all the hottest trends are at JCPenney'S.

The salon made my sister feel discriminated they asked for her age and looked her up and down and they still didn’t believe her. I will never recommend any family members or friends to the Hanford JcPenny. THEY ARE RUDE.

The store had just opened and although I came across many employees no one greeted me. I stood at the register while about 4 employees nearby complained about the assigned employee wasn't there without any aknowlegemnt or hey, be with you in a bit. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the o one had access other than the late employee. Then, behold 1 of the 4 ladies helped me. She was annoyed the whole time and there was that lalala awkward silence.

Too expensive! It's not the same as it used to be in the 19th century! Prices went up quality got low different atmosphere! There's just nothing else to say about this iconic department store that has survived two centuries!
