My partner and I are vacationing in Half Moon Bay. I needed another layer to keep warm with the winds so we decided to stop by.The ladies inside were very kind to us and even pointed out when a jacket I was looking at was missing it's zipper. I got a very nice jacket and sunglasses for $20.00! Thank you so much for your help today!

Used to be an amazing store. Quality of service and pricing are not what they used to be. Clothes are still fairly priced. Employees can also be a bit rude to customers who aren’t Mexican. You may not be greeted. They also do not have a restroom.

Rude and unprofessional employee. I had been to this place a few years ago and purchased a thing or two, I liked the store back then. I am married now and we live near this area. We have driven past the store many times, and I told my wife that we should go thrift shopping sometimes. She was interested today so we went there. We reached around 6:30 PM and parked in the front. The store seems to have many doors and it was very confusing which one was the entrance. Towards the end, one of the doors was half open and we were looking around still figuring out who is attending the store. My wife almost went inside to check and there came a lady (who was outside as well) rushing and shouting "Hey! Hey!! We are closed." I said okay, and to be polite I asked what were the store hours. But dude, why are you running and being loud? We are customers interested in your store, not trespassing on a house or something. Can you please be a bit polite?

I don't understand the concept of this store? It carries all the rejects, used, and open boxes of costco products but charges MORE than Costco retail prices. And I'm not kidding...every product except clothing was more expensive than buying it brand new at Costco. I don't understand how they move any inventory? Rude employees too.

A wide selection of clothing, tools, kitchen wear and dry goods. Many items are heavily discounted due to slight damage, or due to lesser quality then brand names but as long as you're aware that you get what you pay for, then there are many great deals to be had.

A selecting of different objects at discounted prices, at least most of them. Others are interestingly more expensive than at a dollar store, while others are clearly unpacked from Costco. Add some food, beverages, Hispanic specialties and you have a clear picture of this place. What i don't understand is why there is another twice as nice, very similar, jus 100 feet away. Maybe that's why it's called twice as nice? Or maybe succeed there are two twice as nice is for times as nice?

3/5 for pricing, selection and customer service. The ladies in each store really don’t bug you- friendly. Selection is fair- mostly clothes at ok pricing. What I didn’t like is seeing dollar general or dollar store items priced 3-4x higher. Used to be a trip we’d take 2 times a year but with pricing and selection I’ll have see what they have near Christmas time. I will say that clothes is marked good (about 50-60% off)

An overwhelming amount of inexpensive "stuff". A strange mix of clothes, household items, jewelry, cleaning, automotive, food, craft supplies all mish moshed together. Store is messy, unorganized, under staffed and just a mess of boxes, etc.

Where to start? First off this place has three small stores in the same Shopping Center. Pretty much each store has the same items it is just scattered amongst all three locations. It is very very very messy things are so unorganized and you don't even know where to start looking. It almost discourages you from wanting to shop there. The majority of the stuff they have there are from Costco returns. Yes you may get some items cheaper then we you would buy it brand new at Costco but you are buying it at a as is item. You don't know if it works or if it's missing parts. Again this all varies due to the item that is being sold. Seldomly only do you find something that's worth it. They jack up the prices and then price tag them to make you think you are getting a great deal but in reality you are not. For some items it's not a bad deal but for most it is not a good deal! Again they jack up the prices and stick a tag on them that will reduce the price that they are asking at half or a quarter of the cost. But remember again they jack up the price purposely so that you think you are getting a discounted item. They don't offer any returns all sales are final. Depending on the item and what you might come across as a problem they may accommodate you with switching out the item with another one if they have it available but it is not an easy process with the owners because they are looking to sell their wholesale merchandise and are not about customer service. You can clearly see that with the way they manage and have their stores. So whatever you purchase are really inspect a package to make sure that it may have not been a returned item and maybe you will get lucky and be able to purchase something that is actually in new condition for a little bit of a discounted price from what the actual retailer would have sold it for. Love this store. The pricing is great.They are like half price of the Costco brand. I got Fila shoes for $10 same shoes $20 at Costco. They have shirts, pants, shorts and home stuff.You have to look thru to find what you want, but they also have jeans.I got an air conditioning unit for $200In Home Depot are $400.Plus you get to go to the beach as well.

They sell a lot of Costco merchandise and sometimes have nice things to buy. They get new merchandise seemingly daily so you have to be lucky to be there before it's gone. They sell furniture, clothes, pet food, tools, watches, jewelry, some small appliances, luggage, food etc. A little bit of everything for everybody. Pretty much everything they sell is cheaper than the same item at Costco.

Fun place to come treasure hunt for deals. They stock a lot of discontinued products (or maybe it's returns) from Costco. The organization and cleanliness is a bit lacking and the pricing can be confusing if you miss the signs explaining the discounts of various color tags. There are 4 separate locations with overlapping selection, so you end up having to check out multiple times.

I have been visiting Twice as Nice for years. They are definitely a hit or miss. Some months they have a nice variety of items to choose from, but other months you feel like you are at a beat up Goodwill. They sell items from Costco that are overstock and returns. The only negative is the customer service, it is as hit or miss as their items. There are some very friendly employees while there are others who make you feel like you are begging for a freebie. We always have fun either way.

The best deals- many items come from Costco. All clothes are 50% off. You can buy furniture, clothing for men, women, and children, toys, household appliances, groceries, tools, etc. We shop here every year for Christmas and once during the other 3 seasons. We bought a large framed wall mirror for under $100. We also bought a large living room Oriental rug for $75.

So much selection and such great prices! I was in town for a wedding and we realized one of the guys left his pants at home. We went to twice as nice the next day and found the perfect pair of Kirkland brand pants at a great price!!

Very dirty, grungy and had a second hand store feel while being "new clothes," in less than fesirea able packaging and conditions. The place was an unorganized mess, felt very cluttered and unwelcoming. Most of the clothes were from Costco, but was significantly more expensive than the Costco price ...I have a membership to Costco and happen to know the prices of the clothing. Most of the new items appeared to have been used or work once...

I really suggest checking comparing their prices with Costco, you will be surprised that sometimes Costco is actually cheaper. The store is messy, you will find merchandise on the floor, in piles and some on racks. I went in thinking I would find some good deals but found that they sell, what I think to be, Costco's returned merchandise.

Weird little hidden gem with a little bit of everything. Don't go in looking for soemting specific, just poke around and see what you can find. Prices can sometimes be negotiated which is nice, but the deals are so good on some things that you often don't have to haggle. Yes, the place is messy and unorganized but I like to see it as a treasure hunt. Fun place to kill time and find good deals

I'm giving Twice as Nice 4 stars, for the prices they offer on merchandise that I know is a lot more expensive in other stores. For anyone that visits for the first time, just know that it's not like visiting a mall store or boutique. There's a lot of merchandise, and you'll probably need a lot of time to look at everything, and do confirm their return and exchange policy.

Twice as Nice was better in the gigantic warehouse. Now, they are in 4 store locations taking up a small strip mall. Each store has the same things: food stuff, clothing, household products and misc.If the owners could just consolidate or at least organize things I am sure they would sell more.Right now, you will find the same exact PJs, blouses, slacks/jeans and intimates crammed haphazardly in each store. The sizes are also the same. It reminded me of an flea market vendor who did not bother to organize her merchandise.The food is shelves and shelves non perishable processed food items - bottles, boxes, liquids, packets of possibly expired food.The household products were the typical cleaning supplies, kitchen equipment and such. The kitchen equipment belonged in the dollar stores.I did see all sorts of "machines": rice cooker, blender, smoothie maker, vaccums, fans, heaters etc.The biggest problem I had was despite all of these items being rejects, closeouts or discontined, the prices were WAY too high. That smoothie cost more than at Target. Clothing was also too high.I do not go to HMB often. When I go, I drop by here hoping to find a good buy. So far, I think I am wasting my time.

They have expanded and moved their warehouse closer to the location in HMB. The locations seem to be very disorganized and the prices are not as good as they used to be. I used to like making a trek to find good deals, but not so much now.

Was told, Twice As Nice was Cosco’s warehouse with great pricing. To me and other’s Twice As Nice was a joke with several shops and different owners. Not only was pricing the same as Cosco or more but, items were dirty and worn out. Will never return!!!

You feel like you are searching for a treasure, and you will find one. I wish the stores were more organized, you feel like you just seen the same item twice before at the other stores (All in the same strip mall). Keep looking my friends, for you will find bargains.

Went into the Twice as nice Main store half moon bay. 210 san Mateo rd. It's in the corner of the 3. We were looking at suit cases. I asked the Hispanic lady the price. She said the samsonite were 190 and half off. The American tourist were 180 and half off. We went back outside and went thru them. We Decided on American tourist took it to the register and she said.. oh that's 200. You pay 100. I advised her and her boss of our two prior conversations but it was obvious because they were speaking spanish to each other they were playing a game with the white lady. I took the store info and left. Went next door and purchase the same ste less. Was told it happens alot at this store. Gerry:(
