This little place is not your average brunch experience. The atmosphere is very quaint, and their menu is unique. The workers are very friendly. I had their Hash in Pan, and it was very tasty and filling.I know this is a little thing, but I appreciated that they have raw sugar and stevia options for the coffee, not just refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. To me, this is one "minor" thing that shows attention to detail. This restaurant was memorable.

We went there on a Sunday morning. Luckily it was not too busy. We got an outdoor seating in the garden. It’s very beautiful. The food is more like a home-cooked style and they have a lot of vegetarian options. The owner is very attentive, and we had a great time there. Would definitely love to go back again. They only have like five parking spots so I’m not quite sure if that will be a problem when it is busy. The cheesecake is great too.

The patio and the atmosphere are really great. The service was ok, there was a lot of confusion and mistakes when bringing out the food. Now the food, was not good at all unfortunately. Especially the Hash in Pan… no flavor, very wet and overall not a good experience. Was very disappointed. Would definitely come back for coffee or drinks, but not for food.

Stopped here on a rainy day, ordered some food to go. It was not busy but the food took a bit longer to prepare. Folks were nice and offered special changes if we desired. Ordered - meatballs (good but a little bready for our taste, side salad was marvelous!) Also ordered the Caesar salad with sausage on side ( good dressing, not vinegar heavy. Creamy and tasty. There was an herb in it I loved, would have liked more of it and garlic too! Sausage was yummy and plentiful. Too many croutons however. )They have a sweet little back garden patio too- nice for a non rainy day!

I was headed out to the coast and stopped in here and I’m very happy I did. I had the “Hash in Pan” and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. It was so fresh and incredibly tasty. I asked for some tomatoes in the hash which it had, but then the server picked a few more off a nearby vine and beautiful flower when she put the plate down for me. It was really cool and felt very special! I sat in the garden and I was surrounded by blooming flowers, ripening fruit, and growing vegetables. I can’t recommend this place enough for a great breakfast. I also had a “no-carb almond muffin” to-go which was so good that it had me licking the muffin wrapper in the car while I was driving. Seriously, walk in, get the Hash in Pan, then blissfully zone out in the Garden for a wonderful start to your day.

The waiting time was long 20+(minutes)to get the meal. The back patio feel like a messy place. Sorry but I won’t recommended .

This sweet, little Swedish restaurant and bakery knocked it out of the park. The pastries, cookies, and meals were all delicious. Four of us were staying in the area and lucked upon this place. We tried the cinnamon rolls, gluten free almond cookies, the lemon cardamum tort and the apple cardamum tort --all excellent. The coffee drinks were great. My aunt and I shared the Swedish meatball dish and the dill shrimp sandwich, both were absolutely delicious. The two others got the salmon cream cheese sandwich and the French toast. Everyone enjoyed their meals. A friendly Swedish gal owns and operates the restaurant and clearly sets high standards. Plus, the garden area was very inviting and cool. We were there on a Sunday and a friendly, colorful fellow was playing enjoyable music. All in all, a good vibe and great food.

Go for the delicious food and baked goods. It’s like eating in the home of a Swedish chef. Lots of natural ingredients. Healthy options abound.I love the scones. The little round cakes. The cookies the cheese cake …hahaha.Lovely salad and fish and frittata and pizza.Lots of coffees. The garden is so relaxing. Often sitting among the vegetables that are used in the fare. And Helena’s breads!Between the international and local patrons there is always someone lovely and interesting. The staff is genial and sweet and d attentive. This is the real real…it’s not fast food so go and relax. Baked is the essence of community and culture that makes Guerneville so extraordinary.Dietary restrictions: Ask. There are lots of options

This place was a perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat, on our way to go out and explore the town. The staff was friendly, the chai tea was awesome. I would definitely come back here again.

Amazing pastries, cookies and savory items. Fresh, unique flavor profiles and everything is very light and consistently delicious. I can't wait to go back and see what's fresh today. Delicious chicken and duck eggs and fine local coffee. I haven't eaten their prepared meals or breakfast items, but I expect they are as unbelievably good as the pastries and cookies.

This place is one of our favorites! Always great for a takeout or dine in the garden. Our favorites are the Breakfast Bird sandwiches, health nut bowl, and pea soup! Just saw someone get the French toast today, and it looks divine! When you go, make sure to buy some baked goods for dessert and scones for breakfast. Yum.

Food was delicious. Lobster chowder and peach pulled pork sandwich were good, as was bread pudding. Staff was shorthanded the day we visited, so it was a little crazy getting a table, but once we sat down it was fine.

This is our second time eating here, the first time was even worse than the second but I wanted to be fair before leaving a review in case we caught them on a bad day. Very very slow service. We decided to have breakfast here on our way to the coast but after being seated in their garden area (which was actually very pretty and seemed like it'd be a nice area to eat) we were told that they were out of some of the things we ordered after. We are given this news 10 minutes after we ordered. Why would you wait 10 minutes to tell us that? A good server should know at the time of taking the order what's available and what's not. Our coffees came out they were kind of weak, and tasted very watered down. When our food finally came 45 minutes later 2 of the dishes were cold. Not even luke warm. You could tell they were cooked first and the chef let them get cold while preparing our other items. I had the French toast which was not very good putting it politely. You could tell the bread used was old/borderline stale. I'm guessing it was just leftover bread they saved from previous dinner services. It was very dry for French toast, and was served cold. But we were very hungry and due to the already long wait decided to just go with it. My wife ordered the breakfast hash and it was brought out to the table 15 minutes after the rest of our order was. When I asked what the hold up was on her food the server made a rude comment to the effect of this is what it's always like here during the summer and that they have too many take out orders. The problem with that is we were the FIRST guests seated in the restaurant that morning, and only one other group came during our time there. My wife and I owned a restaurant in North Beach, SF for 20 years and one thing I know for an absolute fact is that you always put your dine-in customers at the top of your priorities. When I asked for cold items to be warmed up I was told that would be another 10 to 15 minutes as they now had even more orders (first thing in the morning in a nearly empty restaurant mind you). At that point we were fed up, I paid the bill and asked to speak to the owner. They never showed so we left. I'd avoid this place in the future, it's not worth the wait. Especially when restaurants like Pat's and Northwood can get you in and out in half the time with better food and better service!!
