The best Ace Hardware store in the known universe!The staff are extremely experienced, very friendly and wonderfully helpful.WooHoo!Really Great Place.I've spent the last couple months going to this store every day. I've been remodeling my Chinook motorhome as I vacation at the beach.The staff at Miner's have been wonderfully helpful. They have helped with excellent product selections and providing me with custom wood cutting on their panel saw and chop saw. Their gracious help has been wonderful.

Once upon a time in California around the time of the greatest rush for gold the world has ever seen, those that needed to supply their dreams of hitting it rich would use their last dollars to outfit.themselves. The real riches were earned by those who sold supplies to these gold seekers. I'm not sure about the origins of this store, but sure as shootin', they have everything you need and more. The place is chalked full of stuff for every purpose, every DIF.project, every honey do, and every bucket list idea you can imagine. It gives you chills down your leg and up your spine, it gives you a lump in your throat, and a hitch in your giddy up. They have people there bending over backwards to help. Not really bending over like that but willing to help. They almost beg you to ask them for help. You can see it in their eyes, feel it in their countenance, hear it when they say, "Can I help you find what you need"? So you feel obligated to ask for their help, even though you know where to go amongst the rows and isles of stuff. The delight in their voices overflows like a bountiful harvest of souls. It's the most cathartic of experiences you have ever felt...at least for me.

Every time we walk into this Ace Hardware everyone is eager to assist us in finding what we need. In this visit Caleb was very helpful in finding the correct plumbing part that fit perfectly.

I’ve been to a number of Ace Hardware stores in California, Arizona, and Utah, and Miner’s shines head and shoulders above all I’ve visited. They have an incredible selection of all things hardware and houseware-related, but it’s the friendly, helpful staff that put them over the top.I’m only visiting the area, but if I need anything from a hardware store, I’ll return to Miner’s.

Horrible Experience Today 😵‍💫.Went to get three house keys made.As I entered I picked my keys and waited by the help desk!!!From the opposite side of counter I heardMA’M WHAT DO YOU NEED !!!!!! Yelling voiceI told her I need keys made. She called for a key maker. After talking w key maker I walked away to give them time to do the keys …..Funny but I ran into my son there so we looked at things for up coming projectsThis took 20 min!!!!! I approached the key area to see the loud associate working with another customer and his keys. I said Hi are my keys ready and she the associate (Liz AI) in the loudest voice, Omg , I have ever heardNO !!!!! They’re not ready!!!!!!!We’re doing the best we can here !!!!!She then went back to her register while another associate started my keys 🔑 that’s the third associate, then another came up to finish working on the other customers keys who they started.first. Simple house keys 🔑As I approached and shared my displeasure for ignoring my keys for now going on 30min. This LOUD cashier Screams at me to come over and pay for them first. Omg this lady was so bossy and rude and beyond loud. Her voice was horribly and accosting. But her demeanor was horrific and down right rude. It’s like the cashiers are in a competition to get to ring up the next customer. And this lady out talks every cashier. It was like watching a cashier competition I will help you here !!!!!Lmao I was flustered thus this review.Worst experience ever and I spend a lot of money there. Maybe time for a new store to get supplies 😵‍💫😵🙄

I have vacationed in Pismo Beach since 1971 every year. I plan a visit to miner's. The store is Always clean and well stocked. Anytime I ask for something they not only tell me where it is but walk me over to it.

Haylee went so far above and beyond I’m pretty sure she took a hot air balloon to make our experience something out of a Mario brothers game when you would get that untouchable cloud level. She coordinated with several other stores to get the things we needed without us having to travel about 60miles to each store round trip. A true reminder of the customer service we have forgotten! Thank you for being amazing haylee and helping when to absolutely didn’t have to! See you soon!

I enjoy miners because the folks working there are very friendly and helpful. It's not too big so things are easy to find. They have a great nut and bolt area where you can buy one and not a whole bag.

This local* hardware store has just about every thing you might need, except for groceries. Clothes pins, clocks, that kind of wall mounting thing-a-ma-jig that will hold my thing-a-ma jig on the wall the way I want it. It is one of Grover Beach’s very best assets. It rock and rolls with customers who live and work in the area. Contractors, handy men and women, homeowners in need of this and that, to get the job done. This store is also very important to visitors who RV to our beautiful place in the world.* It must be a good place to work as the main staff has very little turnover in the ten years I have been coming here. This tells me that the place respects and treats each other with warmth. The youngsters who work a year or so, surely move on with a good feeling about people and knowledge for life. The feeling of seeing the same people each time makes it wonderful. They are super helpful and knowledgeable. Ask and ye shall receive. It is rare when you find they do not have what you need. But they remember you with a smile. Good people in my community.

Tobechi J was such a great help. I have been to many places and have yet to receive service that tops that of Mr. Onochie. He graciously helped me cut 9 pvc pipes at odd angles and he didn't reveal anything other than kindness and willingness. It's a rare thing these days.

Super helpful staff. They couldn't help me with my keys and directed me to a lock company right up the street. The departments are fun to browse. The prices are good. If you want quality service and good prices, you really should try them before a big box store.
