I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Clean, well designed, cool vibe and spectacular customer service. The resort itself is amazing and it is great for both families or romantic getaways. The restaurant/bar has great food and awesome drinks. The pool is heated as well as two spas. Multiple fire pits, outdoor lounge areas with string lights and a rock creek running through the property with walking trails. The game room offers pool, shuffleboard, a playground and several other things to do. The playground also offers a zip line for the littles. The rooms are spacious and clean and the patio offers comfortable seating that is great for watching sunsets!

I really wanted to love Rush Creek Lodge but unfortunately it just didn’t meet expectations. We arrived around 4pm for a 3 night visit and we were promptly checked in to a first floor king room by a very young employee. While the resort and rooms are nicely decorated, it is clear that corners were cut during construction. Music playing in a room upstairs reverberated in our room at all hours. I complained twice - I was given a breakfast voucher after the second complaint which was something I guess but the fact that I wasn’t offered a different room or any other actual solution tells me that noise complaints are a regular occurrence. The AC fan was also extremely loud.We ate at the restaurant most nights and the food was quite good. The male host we encountered was quite difficult to deal with making a big deal out of “squeezing” us in to a mostly deserted dining hall. The breakfast buffet at $25 per person was borderline inedible. We spent our last day in the spa which was quite nice. The massage I got was decent. The facilities staff took away from the relaxing atmosphere plodding through the outdoor area slamming gates and not using the hushed tones that multiple signs remind customers to use.Overall, the proximity to Yosemite is the main draw here. It is very family friendly with lots to do for kids. However, the quality of the accommodation and mediocre hospitality doesn’t justify the price.

We went there in the winter, and it was snowing on our last day. It was really awesome there. There was a big pool (it was heated) and even in the snow it didn't even freeze over. People swam in it! The service is great and there is a big game room. There is a little playground for little kids but also a small zipline (made for ages 5-12). The food was good, but the kids menu was small and they had chicken nuggets for every meal (there were burgers and other stuff too, but none of the other stuff interested them). The gift shop is large, and the rooms are really nice, although there was no TV but that wasn't much of a problem. There was a gas fireplace too. There was a guest lounge and a game room (mentioned before) with a lot of games such as a pool table and a pinball machine. There were many activities to do there, such as breaking open your own geodes! Overall, very nice area and we had a splendid stay!Rooms: Neat rooms with no TV, and gas fireplaces. We got the suite so I don't know how the other rooms are.Nearby activities: It was near the Yosemite National Park, and also there were a lot of activities there at the resort (when we stayed there was free smores from 6-8), and also you can rent bikes and do other things.Food & drinks: Not the largest menu, but still good food.Noteworthy details: There was a large play area, game room, and pool/hot tub area. Great views and it's super fun when it snows!

What a lovely place close to Yosemite National Park. After being upgraded at no extra charge, we stayed in a really nice Hillside Villa. Our boys loved the place and enjoyed playing on the playground and in the playroom. The pool and family spa were also a huge hit.We had booked 3 nights but chose to stay an extra night. By the way, the employees were really nice and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was good, although a little bit expensive. In return, there was s'mores event every evening. The warmest recommendations from us.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay.Great location to the entrance of Yosemite. Staff was kind. Dinner food is very good. We did not plan in advance so spa was booked. We mostly enjoyed the Wonders of Yosemite Full Day Tour with Tyler Anreacchio. He was amazing! The real deal and the whole package. His love for the outdoors, respect for the outdoors and esp. for Yosemite was so apparent, He is so knowledgeable, and was so engaging. We also enjoyed hearing about his passion for climbing and all that it entails.

I had a wonderful stay at Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The property is conveniently located just minutes away from the Yosemite entrance, which made it very convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast they served. We enjoyed our meals outside on the veranda, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool was another fantastic amenity - it was clean and well-maintained, and I had a great time relaxing by the poolside. The hotel's bar was a perfect place to unwind with a drink after all the hiking in the park, and it had a wonderful atmosphere. The entire property was nice and clean, which made my stay even more enjoyable.Overall, Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite provided a fantastic getaway experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay near Yosemite National Park. Can't wait to come back!

During my recent one-night stay at Rush Creek Lodge, I encountered several aspects of the service that did not meet my expectations. Below, I briefly detail the key points that marked my experience:Lack of assistance on arrival: No one offered to help unload and carry my luggage from the car to the room.No Tesla chargers available: There were no charging stations for electric vehicles, which caused me inconvenience.Issues during check-out: There was an attempt to charge me again for the stay and expenses already paid for, without an apology for the error.Inattentive staff: Despite the beauty of the surroundings, the quality of service provided by the employees was not up to par. These points negatively affected my perception of my visit, highlighting the need for improvement in key areas to ensure a satisfactory experience for future guests.Rooms: Muy confortables, sin tv, pero muy tranquilas

Stayed several nights in a villa while visiting Yosemite. The restaurant on site is great, every meal was excellent. The store by the lobby had a lot of souvenirs and plenty of snacks and beverages. All of the staff were friendly and nice. The resort itself is beautiful. The creek that runs through the property and the lighted pathways are great. With the sliding glass doors open we could hear the creek from our villa.I would suggest getting here before dark when you check in, especially if you’re staying in a villa. It’s not well lit and it was tricky for us to find our room. Also, if you’re staying in a villa try and request the second floor. We were on the first floor and it was quite noisy with people above. I don’t think they were especially loud but you could hear everything! I’m pretty sure I could tell when they were brushing their teeth. The noise level was really the only downside.I’d stay here again for sure.

The place is overall nice and rooms were clean. The game room is good for the kids, even though there were a number of games out of order. The restaurant is underwhelming, we were a big group, and there were lots of negative comments about almost every dish (burnt burger, awful tasting philly cheese sandwich, soup tasting like tomato sauce, ..etc). Bring your own food with you.

Let me just qualify this review…our expectations were for a hotel to stay the night after a day’s visit to Yosemite. We had worked with the lodge to book an aerial tour of the park the next day and wanted to be nearby the night that was nearbyIt was just the two of us, both in our 50s but one has some physical disability that prevents too much activity.Long story short - we were wiped when we arrived and only wanted dinner and to crash in our room with the TV until we feel asleep.EXCEPT THERE IS NO TV.Is this an awful thing for a lodge where families or other groups can come and connect? No. There are multiple things to do and lounges to hang out in…one with a beautiful fireplace. I’m sure many visitors to this place love the fact there’s no TV.That said…I’d like the option to watch the tube after I’ve retired to my room. I can choose not to turn it on.Also, I’m tech enough just to stream things to my iPad except that wasn’t happening on my cellular signal or their WiFi.Otherwise the place was beautiful and the restaurant was fine.

My wife and I spent one night at Rush Creek Lodge and Spa after a full day at Yosemite, and we had a great experience. The food at the main restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast, and the cocktails good as well. Marshmallows on the fire pretty well! The room was clean, spacious. We were not there long enough to really enjoy all the amenities offered by Rush Creel Lodge and Spa, but I did check out the huge hot tub and pool area, which seemed amazing!

What a fantastic place, a few minutes from the Yosemite National Park gates! The whole site is beautifully presented, and easy to walk around. The grounds during fall are amazing to photograph. The Spa is fantastic, and the 3 hour evening session is a definite recommendation. The Tavern and games room are great areas - the bar has an enormous selection and we really enjoyed playing shuffleboard. The rooms have everything you need, and no TV which was a welcome change. The balcony was such a nice place to relax over sunset. The measure facilities are great, with no evening restrictions on the pool and hot tubs, meaning it was fantastic to relax in the hot tubs in the evening with a beer after a days hiking.A thorough recommendation from us!

Excellent lodge right outside of Yosemite. The rooms give off a rustic feel, but are very modern and well equipped with lots of space. Unfortunately when I went, the closest road into Yosemite was closed, so we had to take a bit of a detour to get into the park, but the drive was gorgeous anyways. The lodge itself is split into a few different buildings, with lots of food and activities around the site. There were smores and a play area for children as well in the evenings. We joined a hike organized by the hotel and the staff were lovely – excellent guides and drivers, and wonderful commentary and tips along the way as well. Yosemite accommodations are pricey in general, but this one was extremely worth it.

The food is AMAZING! I stayed here for a retreat and my colleagues and I had nothing but great things to say about the food and there was about 20 of us. Compliments to the chef. I HIGHLY recommend the crispy fried cauliflower and the crème brûlée cheesecake.

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at Rush Creek. We really wanted to love it but we ended up having just an okay stay. The good: the facilities are amazing, everything is brand new and beautiful, the hotel is super kid-friendly, including pools and a nice play area outdoors and a good play room indoors, and the location is great, literally a couple minutes away from Yosemite entrance. We also liked the s'mores provided in the evening and the general store options and convenience to get what we needed before hitting the trails. The bad: overall the service was poor and the staff didn't look very happy to work there - almost all nights we had issues and/or huge delays in the restaurant and the one time we needed housekeeping and asked for new bed sheets at 8am we had to wait until 4pm.The ugly: we stayed in a lower floor Villa and could hear all the activity from the villa above, which woke us up in the middle of the night almost every night.

I have had this spa recommended to me numerous times, and every rating was spot on!The staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. You are met with bright smiles and lots of assistance or not as needed. Everything was clean, orderly, and maintained regularly. We went for the day use, and I was impressed with just how much that included. I was amazed at what was available and the length of time that we could be there.I enjoyed it so much that I am already planning my next trip there! Well worth every penny! :)

I really love the serenity of this place. When you combine that with great service, delicious food, and wonderful ambiance; it’s a homerun. I went out on a tour with Tyler today and in addition to getting some exercise and being wow’d by the majesty of the giant sequoia on our hike; I got a great education too thanks to his background in environmental sciences. Overall a great experience at this lodge and I will be back.Food & drinks: Every bite in every meal has been delicious. It’s really nice knowing that after a long day out in the park, you have a great dinner waiting for you.

We had booked this hotel and paid months in advance. On the day of the booking we called reception to inquiry about a road closure. The lady on the phone told us that there was no booking under our name and that we shouldn’t come as they were no room available to us.However, when we tried to get a refund, the hotel refused to give it to us and claimed we were a no show. This is really unprofessional and dishonest behaviour.

The lodge was an excellent. We stayed one night while visiting Yosemite. Rooms were clean and spacious. Had a nice size balcony that could seat four people. Dinner was great. I had the bison chili Mac and cheese which awesome. The chili was unctuous! Couldn’t stop eating it. Everyone at the table wanting to have more of it. I had to guard my plate! The chili blended well with Mac and cheese. The large has a lot games, sitting areas and outdoor fire pits for you to can sit with your friends. Servers and workers were friendly and helpful. If you want relax after a long day in Yosemite this the place to be.Walkability: Has 2.7 miles of hiking trailsFood & drinks: Food was good and pricing was above average but not outrageous for being at lodge. Great bar with good selections of liquorNoteworthy details: A lot kid actives both in the lodge and outside.

When our flight times got changed last minute and I needed to cancel one of the nights I had booked, management helped us out without hesitation and refunded me even after the cancellation period. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are pristine. Close proximity to Yosemite. My only negative is that I couldn’t stay longer. Will be recommending this lodge to anyone who plans on coming to Yosemite.

We got a spa there and it was very mediocre. My partner and my massage were differently done even though we booked the same rush creek signature spa. I was feeling cold throughout my massage which is the worst feeling. Not worth the money and efforts.Location is farrrrr from yosemite park, just incase the 120 road closes you are basically stuck and cant reach there by any chance. We had to take a detour that added an extra 1:30mins to reach the park via mariposa. Not

This place was great. They have a nice restaurant and bar. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic. Fun play area for the kids and an amazing spa for the adults. Having 2 outdoor hot tubs was a great idea. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the design of this property. We will definitely back.Rooms: Rooms are very modern. There are no televisions in the rooms but you don’t miss it a bit. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Showers are fantastic.Nearby activities: There are trails all over to walk or bike on the property and allow you to head out further if you want.Food & drinks: Restaurant was a little pricey but it was very good upscale food. Not a huge selection on the menu.

We recently stayed in a villa for 2 nights. The food, accommodations, and location near the park were great. Very friendly and attentive staff. My husband accidentallyleft his hat and the staff mailed it to us! Thank you so much!

We stayed here for 3 nights with our extended family, the Villas work well for groups, only challenge is the couch is in the larger of the two bedrooms but in reality there're so many places to congregate in the resort it is fine. It is a 1hr drive to the main attractions of Yosemite which we didn't realize. Food at the restaurant is good, little lower scale perhaps but well prepared and service is great. Breakfast is underwhelming. It is a large spread out resort with plenty of walking distance each day. Overall, I think it is probably the best upmarket option and highly recommend but the driving to the park is a little far.
