My husband & I stayed at the Evergreen Lodge for two nights. The entire property is beautiful and the staff is awesome. Perfect spot for a couples, family, or friends getaway. Hot tub was perfect, but the pool was a bit chilly. Great sunset deck & stargazing, as well as, a great experience to visit Yosemite through a guided tour booked through the lodge. 10/10 recommend!Nearby activities: Highly recommend a day tour to Yosemite from Evergreen Lodge! 10/10 experience for a first timer.Food & drinks: Food & drinks were excellent at the evergreen lodge! This place is excellent and underrated.Everyone is wonderfully cheerful and accommodating. The environmenthas also been very very relaxing. The rooms are crisp and clean. The rooms have a modern rustic industrial but beautiful & functional cabin design. The bathrooms were spacious , clean and the hot water was consistent which is a huge thing for accommodation in remote places. I most definitely appreciated the most that there was a kettle available in our room as most places I stay at in the states require me to be a master at coffee pot tea making.The food at the restaurant was delicious and exquisitely presented. We ate dinner and lunch. I wish we were staying longer and I will definitely be back.I think this place should be 4 star.Their location is also wonderfully close to two Yosemite National Park entrances.

This is a lovely relaxing resort. I have not stayed in peak season but in March it was perfect. Its in a great location for the Yosemite Valley and Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. It is also close to Merced Redwood Grove and Toulumne Redwood Grove. Which are great for viewing some huge Giant Redwood Trees without the huge crowds of the larger groves further south.The on site bar and restaurant are open every night and it makes the evenings very easy and relaxing. The food is excellent and there is a large range of beers and whiskey. The hot tub and swimming pool is a great place to begin an evening and with it being March we had it mostly to ourselves. Sometimes the staff who live on site do hog these facilities but they are friendly.The staff are very helpful and friendly and are great for advice and information for exploring the area.We will definitely be staying here again and I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to spend some time in Yosemite National Park.Rooms: Nice size lodges which are warm and cosy. They have nice outside decking areas which face away from other cabins to give you a sense of your own space in the woods.Nearby activities: Very close to the entrances to Yosemite National Park on Big Oak Flat and the Hetch Hetchy entrance. So all the activities available with exploring Yosemite National Park are close by. The Yosemite Valley is about 40-50 minutes away. I would recommend getting to the Big Oak Flat entrance by 0800 hours on weekends or peak periods to avoid long ques.Food & drinks: Great food and drinks at the on site bar and restaurant. I would recommend the burgers and the large choice of beer. There is also a well stocked shop on site.

Everything about the Evergreen Lodge was wonderful! The cabins were clean and cozy. The restaurant is very good. The common room is comfortable with a huge fireplace (we were there in the cooler weather so that was nice).Every single one of the staff was friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome and at home. They were knowledgeable about the history of the lodge and the area.The Evergreen Lodge is located in a beautiful setting outside of Yosemite. It's a nice scenic drive to get to Yosemite, about 40 minutes.5 stars doesn't seem like enough; I'd give the Evergreen Lodge 10 stars if I could.Rooms: Clean, cozy & comfortable.Nearby activities: Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy nearby but plenty to do right at the lodge.Safety: Safe environment.Walkability: The cabins are located within a short walk to the main buildings.Food & drinks: The restaurant is very good. There's a coffee bar in the general store. Nice staff there, too.Noteworthy details: They've thought of everything to make the lodge amazing.

This place is a gem!! The staff are wonderful and friendly. The grounds and environment are beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant had great selections and we loves smores time!! The rooms have a keurig, teapot and fridge - everything you need. You can also sign up for activities/tours to yosemite and such from there. Bike rentals and disc golf are on site and the general store has anything you may have forgot. I plan to return.

We stayed here because I wanted somewhere that had an outdoor hot tub in Winter. We got so much more...The lodge has been here for over 100 years, cabins were spic and span, cozy and comfortable. We booked the snowshoe hike to the Sequoias. My first time seeing the Sequoias, which were breathtaking. Our tour guide Tyler had so many facts and stories to share with us, he was great! My Mom had the Deep Tissue massage with Imari. She said it was *literally* the best massage she's ever had, and she's had quite a few. Love this property. Definitely want to stay here again!

Our family of four stayed here for three nights. It was great. It's very close to multiple entrances to Yosemite. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The staff was kind and accommodating. The Wi-Fi was quite fast and robust. We were somewhat underwhelmed with the restaurant, but that was pretty much the only downside, if I'd even call it that.

We had a delightful overnight stay and a tour to see the firefall. Every single staff person was welcoming, kind, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Special shout out to Emily Guide extraordinaire, Sophia for being so thoughtful and helpful and to Tom for making it so easy. Highly recommend it for families, or couples. So much to see and do! We'll be back!

The lodge is adjacent to YNP. It was easy to get there in late March from the S entrance to the park, about a 1 hrs drive. The tunnel view was amazing. The lodge is spacious. The service is great. The cabin was big and clean. The hot tub was big and hot. Tyler gave a fantastic snow shoe hike tour of Toelumne Grove. He is polite, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Our experience at the lodge was fantastic.

My sister and I stayed at the R.C. Lodge for one night. It was the perfect place to stay to be close to Yosemite Park as we had a tour booked the next morning. The facilities that we used were great. We had lunch and dinner at the Lodge, both meals we very yummy and large portions. We enjoyed the outdor pool and hot tub in the evening and we able to gaze at the stars while in the water. They had smores by the outdoor fire in the evening as well. The staff were tremendous!My only complaint was the heater in our room was very loud when running, I had to get up and turn it off in the middle of the night because it woke me up.Rooms: very comfortable. Just a noisy heater/air systemFood & drinks: Amazing taste and generous portions.Noteworthy details: We booked a tour of Yosemite through the hotel as we were not sure if we could enter the park without chains on our tires. We ended up having a private tour as my sister and I were the only ones. Emily was our driver and guide and she was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. She catered the tour to our preferences.

Evergreen Lodge nails the cabin in the woods atmosphere, with the cabins and facilities spread among the trees on a hill. The room is cozy and very well maintained with some nice amenities.The nightly smores were a highlight, and the the onsite restaurant provided tasty and hearty grub after a full day exploring Yosemite.We joined a full day tour of Yosemite Valley with Tyler, and had an amazing time learning about nature, rock climbing, and history from such a passionate guide.

Yesterday, on December 30th, 2023, my friends and I had the pleasure of dining at the Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite. This visit was a long-awaited one, as I have always been curious about the lodge's dining experience. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded in every way.We arrived a bit early, about half an hour before the kitchen opened, which gave us a perfect opportunity to enjoy some time at the tavern. The atmosphere was inviting, and the selection of beers and whiskeys was great. Our bartender, Mark, was the epitome of hospitality. His warm welcome and friendly chats added a special touch to our experience.Heeding Mark's advice, we chose to dine at a table in the tavern instead of the restaurant, which proved to be a fantastic decision. The tavern had a cozy and lively ambiance that perfectly complemented our evening.When it came to the meal, we all opted for different versions of their hamburgers with fries, along with a few drinks and an appetizer. The burgers were a culinary delight, cooked exactly to our preferences. It's not an exaggeration to say these were some of the best burgers we've had in a long time.I also want to extend my thanks to Samantha, who contributed greatly to making our visit memorable. Her service was impeccable, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed.In summary, our experience at the Evergreen Lodge was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere makes this place a must-visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely one of a kind … set in a beautiful peaceful setting .Cabins are cute and cozy. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, professional and very customer orientedThe food at the restaurant is 5 star ⭐️Ali was an amazing tour guide answering all of our questions and her knowledge of the local flora is incredible.Sophia at the recreation centre is the most upbeat personality… what a treasure! All in all Evergreen Lodge has it all .

We stayed at Evergreen over the Christmas Holiday. We had a Fantastic time. The staff was authentically kind, fun and helpful. Tino, Tyler, Danny, John, Aaron, Andrea and Silvia were all simply amazing to talk to, helpful with all questions, funny and interesting. The overall vibe is warm and welcoming. The activities in the rec room were super fun and the grounds are a beautiful joy to behold. The playgrounds were awesome and the tour we took to the valley was educating and fun. Thank you Evergreen for a great stay and your delightful staff. The room was nice, great linens, and the food was good too! Get the BnB packages it’s a great value. Went to lunch with friends and family. Would NOT go again. Had 8 in the group. From the time the first plate hit the table the last plate was 20 minutes later. The food was over cooked . The burger was murdered! Very dry. The chicken sandwich was very over cooked . The restaurant was not busy. I recommend you good back to town for a better meal.

This lodge is deep in the woods and near a beautiful river. It is older than its sister but has its own charm. The sister site at Rush Creek is much more modern with fancy townhome style rooms. There are mostly cabin style accommodations at this location but the property is still absolutely gorgeous.We had a very nice server who is a cool rock climber. He was staying at the location mainly just to earn money so he could climb some more. It's always fun to talk to guys like that cuz they have fun stories to hear.Our dog joined us for dinner at the outside table and our server was kind enough to bring him a bowl of water.There was a wedding reception in the outdoor veranda area with a live band and it was a beautiful venue.Prices at this resort were understandably a little high. The food that arrived was tasty but did not necessarily justify the high price. The pricing was upper tier but the food quality and portions were at best mid-level.We did not stay at this location so this review will not include anything about the rooms. We just ate at the restaurant.It wouldn't be a stretch to say that we would enjoy coming back if the cost of the meals was a little more commiserate with the level of quality and size of portions.Food & drinks: Portions are small and quality was mid-level. I would say the food does not justify the very high prices. However it was tasty and not bad in any way it just didn't live up to the prices that they are trying to justify.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Yosemite National Park recently and stayed at the Evergreen Lodge. We could not have asked for a better experience! The lodging, food, drinks, and ambiance were impeccable. The entire resort is so peaceful and relaxing. Not to mention the staff was incredibly kind and helpful! I would highly recommend staying at Evergreen Lodge!

Very nice place to stay & eat. We stayed 5 nights and wound up eating dinner there every night. Not many other options. The meals were very good! It is about 45 beautiful minutes from the valley. I was happy it was that far away. Very crowded & busy in the valley. Hiking in Yosemite was awesome as well. Too many pics.There are many activities for the entire family as well.Staff was very attentive, helpful, and always friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing time at Evergreen Lodge perfectly located near Yosemite. This lodge has everything you could ask for plus stuff that you couldn’t even imagine. It really did blow my mind away. We stayed in Yosemite for five days four nights and we were so impressed that we decided that one day we just stay and enjoy all the amenities at Evergreen had to offer. all the meals at the restaurant and summer barbecue were delicious. We traveled with my wife and a four and a two year old. the place is super family friendly but also great for couples who want to relax. I’ve traveled to over 40 countries and stayed at some of the most elegant places and I got to say Evergreen is now my new favorite location. And the staff is extremely friendly.

We ate at restaurant after a long hike. Good food, family friendly and helpful staff. My boys loved their chicken taco appetizer and I got their grains and greens salad. We stopped at their general store and it had a lot of fun and practical items. A very clean store and it has a coffee shop. We didn't stay at Lodge but based on what I saw, I wouldn't hesitate to book a room
