It's very clean and fully stocked. It is a bit pricey when compared to other supermarkets, but they open late and they do carry most things that you need. They have a mini flower shop, a pharmacy, and best of all, a great deli that offers a wider menu and items than Walmart's.

Definitely had a good amount of deals going on. I kept saying, oooh, oooh. Got more than I had planned. But I definitely will use all the yummy goodies that I bought. Make sure that you stop into a Safeway today or soon.

This is a smaller Safeway. Unfortunately,. This means their selection is limited, with some of the deli favorites missing. The plus side? They stay open til midnight.

Small town, at first I felt really weird like they never seen a person of color but the more I went in the nicer I seen the staff was. Mostly great customer service I know most by name basics Kimberly a Manger there is amazing!!! lots of selections a little pricey but great brands and I love the safeway app and the for u reward really really cool You earn dicounts on gas at chevron or free grocery items or money off up to 20 off pick these up tonight Ill post more pics later.

I have mixed thoughts on this store. They have a handful of great employees. Kim is one of the best they have. She is so helpful and always in a great mood. I don’t want to post negative stuff about this store but it does have issues. I hope it can turn around but idk if it will happen anytime soon.

Clean store, produce and bakery departments are always stocked, and fresh. I love the Safeway App save money and help me remember my grocery list. A little expensive but much better than Savemore, so I don't mind paying a higher price.

I love this Safeway store. I have been shopping here for 14 years. Safeway has an excellent vegetabl/fruit section, both organic and non-organic. Their produce is always fresh. They also have an excellent deli with fresh meats, salads and cheeses.

This store is clean. I bought a large seedless watermelon recently and after cutting it in half it looked healthy. After eating some of it, well it was not sweet at all. No flavor whatsoever. It tasted like a GMO watermelon. Looks good with no taste.

I can find most of what I need at Safeway. The Safeway in Gridley was a nice surprise as I didn't know that such a small town would have such a nice store. I live 30 minutes away but I don't mind a few extra minutes drive you be sure of fresh food at a great price. I love the Discounted prices too. I always save big time when I use my savings card and that is very important to me and my family.Better fruits and veggies lately. Store shelves are stocked well. Clean too.

Nice store, has a lot of the things we like with a good variety. The workers are very helpful and eager to help you out. The only downside (that’s personal to me) is that, neither they nor any other stores around here, carry Boars Head brand Deli meats. Otherwise I would have given them a five star rating. Bummed. Anyone know of any place that sells it around Gridley, California? I’d forever be in your debt. 😎

Pricing always wrong in the stores favor. Forget bags of your groceries for pickup and don't contact you. Greedy and skeezy and the produce is ALWAYS old and withered at premium prices

Store was clean, restrooms were clean and available to customers, people working there were professional, prices were outstanding, and using the Safeway card took over $10 dollars off my bill. All and all I would say it was a win win situation for me. Oh yes, they have electric carts available for used too.

Not so great today. 2/12. The girl that was working the quick checkout was very rude. I was standing in line, she had noone in her line. She looked right at me standing there & said nothing. Then she made the comment to another cleck. I don't know why the people r just standing there. Maybe she should of said something. Just rude.

Cashiers just talk 2 much when they should be making sure prices are matching the signs ( pos needs to step up thier game :( i hate when I rad a price and I go buy it and get charged more .50-3.00 dollars more....and it adds up. Store is clean but thats not aSaying much.....blah!

Love their sales! Picked up a couple pot roasts for great price. I got a few other things too but that's what I went in for that evening. I live in Yuba City so it's kind of a treat to get to shop in Safeway once in a while

Even tho this is a scaled down(smaller building) version of the bigger stores every item has a place and is available if they have it. The fresh flowers are always beautiful. The employees always smile and will walk with you to find something-not just tell you where it is.I wasn't a big fan of Safeway until I started frequenting Gridley Safeway. 👍👍

Walking in you are greated by a beautiful floral department, which sets the tone for your shopping trip.This Safeway is clean and well stocked. Isles are easy to understand and the produce dept is filled with great looking items.The cashiers and staff are warm and welcoming with the small town charm one would hope to experience in a rural community.We will miss it as we move back to Paradise.

Ugh! My long time go to store but the shelves and end markers are lacking now days. Spent 30 minutes trying to find ginger beer, finally gave up. I had called in prior and they said they have it in stock... I could not find it anywhere. It would be helpful if they would put items of like in the same area.

Was a little bit bummed when I asked if the made bday cakes here. But the guy from the bakery was very sweet a d apologetic when he explained to me why no bakery. Apparently the grilled store itself is quite small. And they had no room to add the bakery..overall tho Safeway is a nice story. Their deli ROCKS! Great salads cold cuts etc!

I have to say that the customer service at this store is truly above and beyond. I dont usually shop at Safeway but had to stop by for something and Tyler in the customer service section was wonderful. He helped to load vehicle and was very polite and patient.

I had recently bought a 8lb bag of Navel Oranges for $5.99. Not even 2 days later after I bought it, every single orange in the bag was rotten. Disgusting. A waste of money. Pricey store with trash products smh

Frequently crowded with boxes and pallets in the aisles. One or maybe two check out lanes open with absolute no effort to open more regardless of how many people are in line. The produce section features lots of fruit flies and rotten produce, the dairy section often has spoiled products well past their expiry date, the "fresh bread" is often rock hard, and overall this Safeway has a much poorer selection than any other Safeway. On the plus side, the employees are very nice and friendly.
