Can't be counted on in a small town.Needed infants tylenol, doors were locked at 8:17 even though the store closes at 9.Luckily Rite Aide was open 🙏🏻

Did someone just call an associate that works at this establishment... Useless?!? WHO RAISED YOU?!? I wasn't raised by hardly anyone, and know better than to stab at someone with harsh words, that I can't prove entirely! I don't like MANY individuals, but I would never go that far over a bad experience in a public setting. ALSO, at least complain about names of people that actually work there... Shannon, Chloe, and Ariel are amazing individuals, and my personal favorites. I got to know them from visiting the store personally, on good as well as bad days! I have been coming in and out of this store for a decade. My husband worked there in 2010 and absolutely loved his boss, as well as Chloe and Shannon. If you're having a bad day, chances are, you're gonna be more crucial of people you don't know and must encounter. Keep that in mind, because I'm speaking from countless times experiencing both sides of that situation...Here's my PERSONAL review: Four stars, not because of the store itself, but because of the corporation altogether. Like many other massive businesses, the big wigs don't tend to care GENUINELY, for customers or their employees IMO. Moving on. I don't frequent CVS much, but last night made me decide to return to them with my business. I had just gotten out of oral surgery, and was given the complete run around by other pharmacies in surrounding cities... about whether they could fill my script, if it would be ready the same night, etc. The medication was time sensitive for me, I needed antibiotics STAT. So after feeling defeated,with one hour left of most pharmacies being open... I called CVS in Gridley. Chloe let me know that she couldn't disclose sensitive information regarding their inventory etc, over the phone, but if I came in she would see what she could do. I arrived at CVS in Gridley a half hour later, an hour before they closed. I was greeted by a familiar face that has been there since my husband had worked there, and even before that... Shannon is her name. I let her know what had happened and she directed me straight to Chloe in the pharmacy. While helping other customers before me, they were still able to squeeze me in. My prescription only took about 20 minutes to fill. I have to say, I am so impressed... Of all places, a CVS store came through for me, for once... And that's enough for me to continue seeing them for my RX needs in the future. When I came to pick up the medicine, Shannon was working in the gift section... I seen a few things that caught my eye, rather than up-selling or being pushy, she gave me personal reviews of what she has tried and what worked for her. I have to be honest, I read the few ratings before me, and agreed with most of what was said-maybe with a little more optimism though... Well except the stab at Shannon I found on Yelp, and possibly here. I have a very diverse family, black/white/brown/olive, you name it!! I alone have more than 7 races within my blood. Shannon would never say the "n word", in any type of context! I met Shannon at her job, and got to know her, obviously it happens in small towns like these... And with that said, I know her nor anyone close to her, speak hatefully. I'm hoping the reviewer was awfully mistaken and not making such horrendous accusations up. If people "of color" as they put it, walk into that store, they can see for themselves... Shannon is a black sheep and proud of others who stand out or feel out of place as well. Point being is, don't let that review(s) fool y'all, get in there and see about Shannon and her great coworkers for yourself. Period.

I am Jeanne Gilchrist. The reviews I read for CVS in Grid are by mean rude people. CVS in Gridley has never been anything but kind, love for their customers and compassionate. I love their little store and grateful to have the staff there.

Six weeks ago I was desperate. None of the Butte Health agency's or pharmacy's were able to schedule a COVID 19 vaccination appt. A friend recommended CVS in Gridley and I today in Gridley I recieved my second shot from the nicest..most professional and organized people on the planet. Go gridley...I am thankful.

Not the best store. We use it for only as our pharmacy. The store is really out dated, dingy and dark. Usually only one employee is working and hard to find when you need to check out. I wouldn't go there if it we weren't required to for meds.
