People in the deli are not too friendly. Stood there and no one greeted us. I asked one guy how do I order a sandwich. He didn’t even pick his head up. Just pointed to a lady. The lady walked off and the. Another guy came out the back to make a sandwich. They seemed annoyed we were ordering a sandwich. Why offer sandwich’s for sale if it’s so inconvenient for your staff? Very poor customer experience.

Went to by chicken thighs for about 8$. left the store and went to another store, and then realized when i got back into my car that the chicken was BAD. it had a god awful odor it, to the point where my whole car smelt like that. went back in and told the cashier and she said “ i can smell it from the grocery bag alone, and then said “do you want a refund or another thing of chicken things”. i said no please refund as i do not trust the chicken you guys have on the shelf. this is absolutely disgusting that a grocery store would have this being sold to the public.

The remodel in the freezer section is nice. It's usually not super busy, so you can get in and out quickly. The store is always clean. I do wish they had hand baskets in addition to their shopping carts.

My favorite supermarket. Great selection of basic groceries at good prices with really friendly and helpful staff. Their line of specialty foods, such as organic or foreign, is pretty limited. The produce section is clean and fresh. The meat selection ranges from super cheap to organic grass fed. Great beer and wine selection. Also a bakery, a deli, and a pharmacy.I must say, the pharmacy has struggled during the pandemic, and I can't really recommend it any more. Too bad.Edit: the pharmacy has closed. I understand that this family-held business is now in the hands of a conglomerate, so we shall see what the future holds. I hope it stays the same, it's a great value point.Updated to say I have stopped shopping here. You now need an app for the discounts, plus the checkout lines are laughably understaffed. Long long lines in the mid afternoon. Too bad, I was a loyal customer for years, but I haven't been there in many months now.

This place has great deals on fancy feast cat food along with a wide selection of dog food! Good selection of deli meats and cheese. Good deals on wine. Good chicken specials (way less than KFC) that is made fresh. To go salads and sandwiches. Laura in the fish department works so hard.and with a smile!. Awesome deals on wine. They have lobster..clams..nice steaks and weekly specials ! On Tuesdays they have specials on their prepared chicken fingers and sometimes wings! Get on the app to see what the weekly specials are!

Been shopping here for years yet lately the milk I been buying goes sour half way through its freshness date,it snowed and prices went up I'd say someone is preying on its customers,also buying bagged veggies I've found after opening its mostly single use instead of a few days ,they go bad as fast as they are opened,what is the cure,milk is bad I've returned fruit but the milk is staple are they letting it sit to long on loading dock or not refrigerating it from plant to store its a pricy issue same as veggies. Please watch your buying carefully.its changed,gotten more expensive, no longer save mart,what a name,and prices are still going up,highway robbery,that's what we are facing.

So the things that are expensive at Safeway are cheaper here and vice versa. Definitely a supplier/competition thing.Reasons to shop here. The bakery, their Full Circle Organics and their store brand packaged items under both Pacific Coast and Crav’nBest bakery of all the chain grocery stores (it’s not home made but the best of the chains). Their Jalapeno cheese & Asiago bagels rival Bubbahs (Bubbahs wins for the Pizza bagel though). Their sweets like cookies and birthday cakes aren’t just a mouthful of sugar (like Safeway ick) and the cookies are also moist. Not dry and crumbly. They usually have a unique supply of breads. Their baguettes are a disappointment as they can be pinner and hard as rock. Sub their Telero rolls or a flavored bread instead. Other issue is they don’t have a huge amount of everything baked daily. Best option is to call the day before and order.Their store brand, Full Circle Organics, has great prices for packaged organic goods. Pacific Coast has good quality packaged items like sliced bread etc. Packaged “junk food” under their Crav’n brand are great cheaper alternatives for knock off Oreo’s, Potato Chips/Doritos, and frozen goods. All taste just as good and/or some are better then name brands.Meat dept. is OK. Recommend the jalapeño bacon. It is not spicy but has great flavor. Fish dept. is just meh as I think they re-freeze a lot. I do recommend the pre-packaged frozen shrimp brands here, that often go on sale, as the frozen shrimp at Safeway seriously tastes like chemicals.Store tends to be understaffed but everyone is very friendly so that makes up for it. It is not a crowded zoo as Safeway tends to be. More elbow room than Safeway but not as nice as Raleys.

At 901pm on June 12 2023 cashier kept customers change, a mother and her adult special needs son in grocery store, check out, mother leaves line, soon collects change, cashier orders special needs son to return change to her he does so, this is wrong in so many levels, please do your job better and not steel from those without and especially from those with extra needs

Love this store.. mainly just Karla & the bakery! Sorry to say that but... I've bought pre-prepaired chicken cordon bleus' HUGE MISTAKE..by the time I pulled them from the fridge (less than 24hrs later) they had already turned and smelled of rotten vinegar!! I was furious so I brought the entire package back & the old man (store manager) basically told me "Well.. What happens when you get home is not our stores problem nor is it our fault" shrugs his shoulders & looked at me like "sorry kiddo". I dismissed thee incident and a couple weeks later I thought for the sake of trial and error & to give them another chance to redeem themselves.... I got some pre-seasoned/marinaded taco meat and... I'll be a possum!!! I pulled it from the fridge THE SAME DAY, & it didn't smell rotten so I cooked it up and went to taste it & IT WAS BAD!! Same wierd vinegary rotten smell and taste!! I thought I was being punk'd for a split second!! I have to admit... I was not in the nicest of moods or tones when I confronted the manager AGAIN... This time he accused me of sabotage and trying to "pull one over on him"!!?!!! UN... BELIEVABLE... THEE ONLY REASON... why I still go there is because of Karla.. & the cakes are moist and delicious & always a great price. She's an absolute GEM! Shes very down to earth and her energy and personality is very warm, playful and genuine! She's a breath of fresh air & quite frankly... A great addition to the overly "Serious" & stick up the behind attitude from the department heads. The Manager is very narrow minded & condescending. It's a shame that someone in that tower position can be so Tyrannical and so free to run the customers & employees morale right into the ground! That "My way or the highway" and his unwillingness to be open to ANY OTHER POSSIBILITIES BESIDES HIS & unwillingness to take: accountability, interest or invest in his employees future/growth in the company& as human beings... What a shame!!

Went to get a few things. Spoke with the lady at the deli and she was so polite and helpful. My husband started talking to her about jobs. She advised to speak to Lisa said thank you and went to pay. Asked to speak to Lisa. She came up and started talking to my husband about night crew. My husband is a pot smoker. Asked her right out about that. She is so rude. Told my husband that it was against there policy. Which is fine, but the way she comes across is horrible. Then stood there after my husband was done talking to her and watched him check out like he was going to steal something. I'll never shop there again.

Went in here 3 months ago, was only one hand basket in the store. 3 months later I return, now all hand baskets gone. I asked worker, he said they all got stolen. Something really wrong with management if you cant order more hand baskets in a 3 month period.

It's comprehensive, clean and generally very good. They have scrambled up the store for reasons that I'm unaware about, but it makes finding anything quite a challenge after shopping here for years with the same layout. And the signage as what's in each row isn't very good at all. Employees are knowledgeable and very friendly

Pharmacy is ridiculous. I arrived at the window as the rude employee slammed the sliding doors in my face. It was at 12:45 exactly. I asked why they had a sign stating that they close at 1pm if they did not abide by it. The rude employee just kept saying “we are closed”! Who do I report this to? The store service desk was also closed!??

We really like Save Mart, their Employees are the most helpful and personal, it's my favorite grocery store to shop at. And the Pharmacy is good also. They know your name and try to make sure our insurance company covers there portion. 🤗

Store was very well stocked but I was definitely expecting it to be cheaper than it was. I found it to be more expensive than Safeway on several items, it's almost a wash because there are a lot of things that are so inexpensive... Strange.

Store smells like fish. I don't shop there unless they have a really good sale because it stinks. It probably smells like slightly off-fish because when I have bought fish there, it was definitely not fresh. Other day than stinking like fish, it's an OK supermarket.

Cashiering is their problem, it is very slow. Other than that it is a generally well stocked store, and lately it looks like they have been trying to go more high-end with a better selection of unusual items, almost gourmet in some cases. Fairly regular excellent deals on meats, well worth keeping an eye out for those deals. If they would do something about the long lines I will add a star.

Decent selection at the Grass Valley SaveMart. I was trying to find another place for the 'limitless' brand waters and they have most just not the Cucumber Pear. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they make a relax lavender version as well that I'm excited to try as I kick back tonight.

I've shopped at this location for years, the staff is always courteous and friendly. If I need help, someone is always close by and happy to assist!! I love the low prices and the rewards program is fun and easy to use. I LOVE MY SAVE MART!!

Best place to shop in the area. Great prices. Friendly workers. Layout is sensible. Deli has amazing meats. The points system they us isn't to bad if you regularly shop here, and has rewards you can actually use like money off your next trip. They reglarly send emails with free items too. They recently upgraded to accept chip cards at the register. Free WiFi so you can actually use your phone inside the dead zone around the store, though it is a bit slow at times.
