I love love the coffee and it’s the only place I will go to in town. I work at the hospital and see the flowers my patients get, I know when I walk in if it’s Grass Valley florist because it smells amazing and is always beautiful. While working I was blessed with my own beautiful floral arrangement. It made me smile all day and I am still smiling as I get to enjoy it at home. You can tell there is love put into these beautiful pieces of art. When my patients family asks where to get flowers or coffee I always direct them to Grass Valley Florist.

I’ve used this florist 2 years in a row now. This year was my grandmothers 90th birthday. We live far away and couldn’t spend the day with her. These guys are amazingly creative and artistic when creating flower arrangements. I use them exclusively because I've found I can just give them a price range and they take care of the rest. Their arrangements always get rave reviews from my Wife, who's an artist herself, so that says something! I'll also stop by their drive-through for coffee when I'm in the area - very conveniently located. They use the best coffee around, so if you're a connoisseur you'll appreciate that, and they also carry a wide range of great gifts. So if you're like me and don't have much time, these folks will set you up!

Truly a hidden gem. This checks the box for me on so many levels.As a coffee spot, it has a wonderful old country home feel with some indoor seating on comfortable couches and lots of outdoor seating.You're surrounded by vintage and antiques. Every spot has something unique.As a florist shop, they perform miracles with their design and handiwork in an area you can view while having a sip.I will definitely come here again.

I came here for the first time and was so impressed. They have a gorgeous flower shop and coffee shop here. I needed some flowers for a funeral I was attending that day.They had bouquets already made and absolutely breathtaking. The two ladies working there were super sweet and helpful to me. I also ordered a coffee to go and it was absolutely delicious.The best part is...They have a DRIVE THRU for coffee and flowers. I parked and went inside, but you could choose the drive thru. That was super awesome to me.That said....I will be going here EVERYTIME I need flowers and I'll also be coming here for drive thru coffee more often now that I know about this place. I found them on Google

Went for a coffee on Christmas Eve. The woman on the flower counter was extremely rude. It was my first time there and we said hello, to no response. I don’t think the first thing you say to a client is “did you want something?” I just wanted coffee and she said “go to he counter” like gesticulating and interrupting (like I didn’t understand what she was saying), I was just in shock. We’ve been wanting to go there for a while but I’m not coming back. For an immigrant these interaction are always difficult, or maybe she’s just rude. The young lady that made our coffee was polite and nice.

This is the best florist I have ever gotten flowers from. I have found that their bouquets last longer, due to the care they give in transport and storage That the bouquets are beautiful and lush with good eye for color and greenery. And that they will work within your budget and still give a quality product.

This is the best spot to get coffee in Nevada County. I highly recommend visiting this in lieu of the horrible corporate Dutch Brother's drive through which infiltrated our community across the Old Nevada City Highway. Support small local businesses and enjoy the unique, ambient experience of their floral inventory too!

Our co-worker was sadly hit with the latest round of Covid. She has family coming for Christmas and was quite sad because she did not think she could accomplish her goals, Darn Covid!We sent her some flowers through your business and they made her day. She even shed a tear.Thanks, We tried doing this on line (because I am lazy) and it was a nightmare! One visit to your store and it was taken care of. I love their drive-through coffee shop very convenient it's never a long wait. They have great options so many different choices. They also have alternative milk options. And different snacks. Their flowers are absolutely incredible they never disappoint. If you have the chance to stop in they have an incredible gift shop that is always stocked with one of a kind eclectic type pieces for any occasion.

If I could give this florist 20 stars, I would! I am very delayed writing this review however, it is still much deserved. Back on July 15, one day before the services for my nephew's sudden passing, I was informed by another florist via email, the following and I quote "I am writing to inform you that due to supply issues, we were unable to fulfill your order." No contact information was provided.Being from Pennsylvania, I was not familiar with the florists in the area.Desperate to find someone who could help at the last minute, I contacted Grass Valley Florist. I wish I could remember the woman's name that I spoke to because she was not only empathetic, she was caring and sympathetic. She asked for the type of arrangement I had originally ordered from the other florist, found a picture of it, and with such short notice, provided a beautiful arrangement and delivered it to the church the next day. I was lucky enough to spot her dropping off the arrangement and I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to thank her in person. She actually got out of her van not only to speak with me, but to offer a hug as well. Thank you Grass Valley Florist for your genuine kindness and excellent customer service. (STAY AWAY FROM PATRICIA'S PETALS!)

This florist shop is just wounderful . Everyone was so very kind . My mom and I just walked in and asked if they could make a Flower arrangement for us last minute.. In less than 30 minutes they put together an amazing Arrangement. While we were waiting we ordered a coffee and a Fruit smoothie made with real Fresh fruit and shopped around with all the decor . Absolutely love picking out our own flowers and getting them wrapped as a bouquet. Much more economical and fun to pick out what you want. They do a beautiful job putting it together. Love that we can grab a coffee there too, and sit and read if we would like.

The chaos of the busy shop only lends another facet to its small town charm. Ingrid, the owner, has a heart that just keeps on giving. As an owner of another small business in Grass Valley, I was in a pinch for some display help. I went into her shop hoping to find something, anything, to help me. What I got was the royal treatment. Ingrid, who was busy with her own Holiday Open-House, took the time to tear apart a Christmas tree for me, clean it up and redecorate it. Now, where else could that happen? As a result of her kindness and generosity, our display looks beautiful. If you're ever in the area, stop on by and celebrate a truly unique place. You'll be so glad you did.

The staff at Grass Valley Florist always greets you with a smile. They take the uncertainty out of ordering a gift, wedding flowers, center pieces, whatever your floral needs. They are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Their in-store selection is fabulous. They not only have fresh flowers, but live green plants and great gifts for any occasion. While you're there, grab a cup of coffee at the coffee bar. You can drive through, enjoy it on the patio or grab it to go. I have used Grass Valley Florist for so many different occasions and have NEVER been less than thrilled with their work.

I own a local business that I pride myself on the window displays. Grass Valley Florist is my go-to spot for eye catching beauty and creativity. Regardless of the season I can find something to help my business embrace the theme I am creating. They are so helpful when I have an idea of what I am imagining but don't have a clue as to how to manifest it. Just this month, the owner made me a spooky witch legs fall festive cornucopia dried arrangement that is perfect for October and November. The customer service is AWESOME!
