I recently had an experience with Taylor Farms in Gonzales, CA, and I have mixed feelings about their policies regarding check-in times and trailer washouts. While the facility ultimately loaded my trailer efficiently after the required washout, I was disappointed with their strict adherence to appointment times and the inconvenience it caused me.Upon arriving at Taylor Farms at 6 pm, I expected a smooth check-in process. However, I was informed around 10 pm that I needed a trailer washout before they could load my trailer. This news came as a surprise and caused a delay in the overall process. It would have been more convenient if they had informed me about this requirement during the initial check-in.As a truck driver, I understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness standards, especially in the food industry. However, it would have been helpful if Taylor Farms had communicated this requirement earlier, preferably during the check-in process. Providing this information upfront would have allowed me to plan accordingly and avoid unnecessary waiting time.Once I was informed about the trailer washout, I promptly went and had it cleaned. I appreciated the fact that they had facilities nearby for this purpose, which made the process relatively convenient. After returning with a clean trailer, I was loaded up in about 30 minutes, which was efficient and saved me additional time.Despite the delay caused by the trailer washout requirement, I must commend Taylor Farms for their swift loading process once I had completed the necessary steps. The staff was professional and efficient in their work, ensuring that I could get back on the road as quickly as possible. However, it is important for Taylor Farms to consider the convenience of truck drivers and communicate all requirements clearly during the check-in process. Allowing drivers to check in earlier than their appointment time could potentially alleviate unnecessary waiting and ensure a smoother overall experience. In conclusion, my experience at Taylor Farms in Gonzales, CA, was marked by the inconvenience caused by their strict adherence to appointment times and the surprise requirement of a trailer washout. While they made up for it with a quick loading process once I completed the necessary steps, I believe they should improve their communication and flexibility to enhance the overall experience for truck drivers.

This is the worst place ever, you could sit there for hours for 6 pallets and I mean up to 12 hours, the girls are rude and throw your sign in slip back at you, I would say stay away from this place, but as I'm finding out all Taylor farms are the worst place to go,
