Excellent, helpful, highly professional pharmacy staff. Was able to fill a prescription while in Santa Barbara without issue. These other reviews must be catching them on very bad days, nothing at all like the pharmacy I experienced. My thanks again.

The pharmacy is terrible. It takes them a very long time to fill prescriptions and they recently shorted me an entire week of a controlled substance medication which they insist they filled completely. This is simply not true and they didnt even check their inventory to see if they made a mistake. It's very hard to get this medication each month so it's infuriating for them to make such a huge mistake with such a highly controlled medication like this which leaves me without it until my doctor can prescribe more which will be who knows how long. If you need a medication filled and it's a controlled medication that cannot just be filled at any given time I suggest you ask them to physically count the pills infront of you before leaving the counter.

Doesn't do any walk-in flu shots and refused to add us in when the pharmacy is completely empty even though no line. Lady refused to let us book one.No wonder walgreens are going out of business.

I Am A Local I Dont Shop Here As Often As I Wish I Could. I Always Enjoy Walgreens:) The Female Cashier From The Evening Shift Was Very Helpful Very Respectful I Really Enjoyed Her Support While I Was Shopping With My Children. I Wish ALL Cashiers Were Like Her. She Greeted Us Well As Soon As We Walked In Made Us Feel Welcomed. Didnt Make Us Feel Uncomfortable While We Were Shopping. Ive Worked In Retail For Many Years Before And I Know A Good Cashier When I See One Especially The Ones Who Are Loyal And Respectful To Customers:) I Am Greatful And I Hope I Keep Running Into This Cashier Whenever I Am Able To Go Back Again.

Mathew the pharmacist and the store manager Darren have gone above and beyond as I have had to navigate for 10 months in Los Angeles as my dog has been ill thanks to a whole bunch of quacks especially the one who in the ICU left his oxygen crate door unlatched and he fell 5 feet to the ground. These two remarkable people have really been fabulous. It is hard to articulate that in a world where people have lost a lot of compassion and work ethic that these two people have helped me with my diabetic insulin when I am not at home. I want to thank them in particular because not only have they helped me, but the kindness in the face of my beautiful fearless dog Foxy Buddy they have show great compassion. Thank you for being so kind. I lost Foxy Buddy in the last week and am grateful for the people who have shown kindness, compassion and competence.

Called fairly early in morning to get a prescription transferred from the Walgreens back home. No problem said the guy. Called in the afternoon and was told they were too busy and it would take 3-4 hours. Called in 4 hours and was told they had no record of the prescription. And then it was too late to call the Walgreens in NC. Then, surprise, just as my wife was leaving for the airport the next morning, I got a text saying the prescription was ready. My wife had her driver stop while she went in and watched 3 of them argue with the woman ahead of her. And they were entirely impolite when she told them she was getting late for a flight and told her to get back in line. Such rudeness and incompetence! I guess there's a reason for their 2-star rating. I'm surprised it's that high!

Three times in a row I requested a prescription refill and spoke with a rep on the phone who confirmed it. Every time I show up and wait in the long line to hear yet again they have no request and they will need to fill it—so please come back. Take a long look at these pharmacies like Walgreens, they are relics living their final days before being disrupted by something more efficient and consumer friendly that is of this era.

Terrible pharmacy, If you need anything fast, don’t go here.Had a prescription for antibiotic and painkiller. Called pharmacy several times mentioning infection and need for drugs. Took two days to get. No doubt my infection became worse because of pharmacy’s delay

Definitely not a good store. I do order online and pick it up by me or my husband. It happens many times, like there's a deal: buy two and get one free. Then we picked up. We just got two instead of three. What the heck is going on with the deal? When I check online, it shows that there is a stock. I can't understand why.

Jennifer the team lead was very helpful yesterday in helping me quickly and efficiently get my passport photos done! I appreciated it since I had been to three CVS's before and no success at any of them. Will be back!

I was in the photo department today and there were 2 girls in that department with NO customers to wait on. I asked for help, putting together a collage for a canvas print and the both said no, that I had to do it. I told them I didn’t have any idea how to do it, the one gal told me there were features on the machine and told me she couldn’t stand over me and help me. What ever happened to customer service. I won’t ever darken their door again!

We never got the results from my son's covid test. Results were promised via email within 72 hours and he needed a negative test to attend a sporting event. The website said the sample was not recieved by the lab. On the phone, the pharmacist was rude, said it was the lab's fault, couldn't even tell us which lab the sample was sent to, and offered no help. My son had to get a rapid test at the game and missed out on a pre- game tour.

Incompetent and useless. 2 separate occasions to demonstrate my point:A couple of weeks ago, I attempted to fill a medication for my daughter. I was told they could fill it and they'd have it in a couple of days.We then heard nothing for 5 days, so I called. I was on hold for half an hour and they hung up on me. Rather perturbed, I drove to the store and got in line. When I got to the front of the line, I was informed that they had been unable to fill the medication but, because my number was listed in their system as a home number rather than a cell number, their automated system didn't call or text me to tell me there was a problem and no one bothered to follow up. They were unable to provide me any better alternative than to go to UCLA to get it filled. My wife dropped off a prescription with them a couple of days ago. They said they would have it filled in a couple of days. When I called them to check, I was on hold for 10 minutes before they hung up on me. I called again and was hung up on after 7 minutes. I called a third time and Guy finally answered and said they had no record of the medication having been dropped off.Just go to the Rite-Aid on Fairview. They're not fabulous either but they're still much better than this place.

Scheduled a drive through PCR test and the email says to arrive 5 minutes before the appointment. It is now 30 minutes past the appointment time, there are 2 cars ahead of me (who probably had the slots before mine) and there is no one out here administering tests.Edit: 15 more minutes and a technician finally came out to help people.

The wait to pick up a prescription is simply unacceptable. Drive through wait is an average of 30 minutes to an hour any time of the day. Why have a drive through at all. Management needs to have better staffing in this pharmacy. At this point you are just making people upset.

I received a text that my prescription was ready 24 hours after they had originally told me it would be ready. I get to the store and I still have to wait another hour for it to actually be ready. I wish this was the only time this was my experience but it happens every time. I never post reviews and I’m not trying to be nasty but please take this as feedback to fix this. It’s so bad.

Hey do you have two and a half hours of time that you can’t stand to enjoy?? Well, do I have the place for you! Start your visit with a 30 minute stand at the counter and enjoy the scenery at each pharmacy worker passes by while avoiding eye contact. After you’ve had your fill of that try resting your legs and waiting in a bathroom cleaner scented chair for the next hour. Sound awesome!? Well, the journey is just beginning because our staple attraction is a FREE front row seat to HIPAA violations as the pharmacy workers discuss previous patients condition at the counter. I did however get what I came for even if it was 2 hours and 30 minutes later. For that reason 2 stars

Went to Walgreens to get the booster vaccination. Arrived about 10 minutes early but ended up waiting for an hour before asking how much longer. Turns out they forgot about me. Add on another 30 minutes and I was finally seen. I went to Rite Aid for my original vaccination and it took less then 10 minutes.

In the drive thru pharmacy line. It's been 40 minutes so far. I moved up a whole single car length. There are two in front of me. Debating on just abandoning my car, getting pizza next door and coming back. The line still probably would not have moved.Edit: 45 minutes now. No movement in drive thru line.

Frequently shop at Walgreens Goleta. Don’t know if we’ll go back there, while in my car I observed a woman without a mask entering the store, figuring she’d put it on while in the store. She didn’t. While shopping I passed 3 other people without masks. (We were wearing masks). I spoke to a checker about my concerns she stated that although the store posted the mask warning, management couldn’t enforce it. The manager was not available. I informed the checker that we will not return to the store.

Small drugstore compared to other national chains, but still a decent selection of typical goods. Pharmacy can be slow during peak hours, but the drive-thru is a very convenient option not offered by any other drug store in the greater Santa Barbara area.

WORST WALGREENS EVER. Go anywhere else but here- slow service, never answer the phone, and fill my prescriptions wrong frequently. I've even had someone helping me at the pharmacy and then leave before my transaction was complete because her shift was over. Not a good move in my opinion.

Mom and I went in only to have an employee named “Sammy” yell at us about my mom not having her ID (she’s 55). Literally yelling at us. No hello, no “I’m sorry, we can’t sell this to you because of __” etc. We understand there’s a “policy to follow” but a simple greeting, an apology, and a goodbye would have completely changed the situation. Came back —with my mom’s ID— and we checked out with a boy named Christian who was apologizing on behalf of the previous employee (who wasn’t there anymore). This Walgreens needs to hire more people like Christian because it doesn’t sound like an isolated incident.

The most unfriendly and disorganized Walgreens I’ve ever been to. No one will even say hello or look a customer in the eyes. I gave them months hoping it would get better or I’d meet someone redeeming but it never happened. Bye bye! Go to CVS!! It all starts with leadership and this manager is AWFUL!!

Do not trust what they say. Avoid this place if you can.The bumblers at this pharmacy had 5 days to get travel prescriptions ready. We had 7 or 8 communications where I corrected their errors and was reassured everything was in order for me to come in and pick up. Now I’m headed to India without at least one lifesaving drug that is not available in Asia.Danger. Danger. Stay away.

I had a serious infection in my foot and was on crutches when I came in to Walgreens obviously in a great deal of pain. I informed the pharmacist that although I had been prescribed an antibiotic and a pain killer, I no longer needed the antibiotic because they ended up giving me subcutaneous antibiotics and forgot to cross out the oral antibiotic on the prescription. Hardly an indicator of drug abuse. It’s not like the prescription was from Las Vegas, it was from the MedCenter on State street! After explaining how I only needed the pain killer, he then lied to me and very rudely stated “I’m not giving you the pain killer without the antibiotic, it’s the law”. Well actually no, it’s not the law, nor does it make sense. I knew immediately he was lying, his assistant even had a surprised look on her face. I no longer needed the oral medication because it was injected into my butt cheek at the clinic so I only needed the pain killer at that point. He couldn’t comprehend this and treated the whole situation with total suspicion and rudeness and said he was too busy to call the MedCenter for clarification. I then had to hobble my a$$ to CVS where they immediately filled the one prescription for the pain killer, were very friendly, understanding and told me it is not against the law to dispense a pain killer without an antibiotic. I just don’t get it. Is it laziness? A loathing of customer service? I will never return to Walgreens. It was an embarrassing, stressful and painful experience.

I've moved around the country a lot but have been using Walgreens for as long as I can remember. I've experienced excellent pharmacy departments as well as ones that make me want to rip my hair out. This particular Walgreens falls into the latter category. They are always painfully slow no matter the time of day or day of the week I have tried going. When there has been trouble with my insurance they simply send an automated phone message and don't try to contact me to solve the problem. The last and final time I used their pharmacy I had trouble one of my prescriptions...again. It turned out the issue was caused by one of their employees going into the system and changing my insurance information for no reason and with out my permission or knowledge.I will not be using this Walgreens any more.

This is consistently the worst Walgreens I’ve had the misfortune to deal with. Rude staff, long wait times and incorrectly filled prescriptions are the norm here. Avoid at all costs.
