I shop here all the time. The staff is awesome in the afternoons and the store has some pretty good deals. The only issue is the refrigerators/freezers here suck lol. There's always freezer burned items or literal ice surrounding the freezers.At least their deli and bakery has really improved so much, can always find a tasty sweet treat

They sell rotten flowers! We bought tulips today, but because of the packaging you could not see the quality of them, the buds looked fresh. The receipt was trow away instantly. When I opened the package at home, all the tulips were rotten and moldy, so I cut them very short. Very upset. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Vans have better-quality flowers, and it is always fresh.

National grocery retailer selling farm fresh fruits and vegetables, oven baked bread, pastries and donuts, there's even an abundance of plants and flowers, not to mention an amazing selection of local wines and craft beers. There's even a Starbucks inside. It's truly a one-stop-shop.

Uhm.. hm. Nice size grocery store, like a Kroger back east. But they don't have any cold drinks aside from corporate cola and juice brands. Meh.

Why the store administration does not take measures with people who stand and sign in with promo, which so insistently ask money on dogs and others . Personally, I'm testing discomfort when the fourth day in a row I'm asking for money . If a person financially capable sacrifice , he himself will fit , and not need to shout and pull him out of the stream of passers-by . It's not correct ! If it continues, I'll just be buying another store . Please take measures please

I put in an order online for a cake to be picked up for my girlfriend's birthday more than a month in advance. The day of pick-up comes and I get a phone call two hours before pickup, telling me that I hadn't put the size of the cake in the online order, so they had not made the cake. I ask if they could make the cake now, after I specify the cake size, and their response was that they had neither the frosting nor the cake design that I had requested in my original order. It is a little perplexing that they waited till the day of to tell me there was a problem, so I would have no chance of fixing the problem or ordering a cake, elsewhere. It honestly feels as if they ignored my order till they came in this morning and then realized they couldn't fill my order because they did no planning for it. Would not recommend their bakery to others.

Very un organized, only one register open. It’s 4:47 🙄Line goes all the way down to the milk. This is the 3rd time this has happened. People are complaining / arguing.Will not be shopping here ever again.

The bakery in this store went from being one of the best to the worst. This mornings interaction, or I should say none interaction, was it for me. They know you are standing there but they don't acknowledge you so you have no choice but to interrupt them (two guys) and than they look at you like they are mad....

We visited bread section, frozen and fresh vegetable sections. They offered a wide variety of various ethnic vegetables. The staff was very helpful. We saw new vegetable that we have never seen before. They were very fresh. We had a great shopping day. Great job RALPH.

The store is well stocked and employees were friendly but as soon as I walked into the restroom I had to give 1 star. The restrooms both women and men's were very dirty. Right now with a virus going around you would think all areas of the store should. e clean. In the women's restroom all 3 stalls were overflowing with trash, floors and doors were dirty. The sinks looked like they hadn't been cleaned and moved hand soap whatsoever. They need to have employees going in there to clean constantly specially right now.

TERRIBLE service. I was told to "have someone else deal with it" when I asked if I could purchase my hot foods at the hot foods counter. I only asked since the other 3 check stands had at least a line of 15 other customers waiting. It was clear to me this woman did not care at all. I don't like giving negative reviews but this interaction left me dumbfounded.

Cathy, the manager, was wonderful and they seem very settled and kind a this place. Much different than most of the customer service to be had these days. I called with a question and she delivered. So refreshing to see a service manager that handles the public and seems to do so with ease.

Every experience I've ever had here: walk in, look around - oh, it's not very busy. Round the corner to see one single check stand open with a line half way up the aisle. Walk out and go to Vons. For some reason I keep trying every few months.

It is clean, and that is the best thing I can say.Their only organics are mixed in with everything else on the shelves, and they only have Kroger's Simple Truth brand. If you want chicken beasts or tenderloins they only have prepackaged "fresh" and nothing frozen.They seem to be having a product war with the organics store across the lot. Maybe between the two a person could get all their shopping done?

Great, as usual. In town it's the best general grocery supermarket, miles ahead of Vons and Albertsons. Fruits and vegetables with good, predictable quality at honest prices, plus a wide assortment of all things home, make me just wish we had more stores in the Santa Barbara area than a measly two.

Ralphs reminds me of Publix in Alabama - not quite as big, but they sell similar products. This store is well managed, clean, well laid out and the staff are super helpful. The quality of goods is great too.

The bike rack (pretty bad design & insecure) and has not been repaired in many months now. I don't know why, considering that this is a big business, and a decent designed bike parking is very much needed by cyclists in the area. You'll never be eco friendly if there's no infrastructure for cyclists, c'mon!

08.27.15 I went there to buy some beer. And they refuse to sell it because I have International ID. It was me driving license with my photo and birth date. (matching with CA ABC law (Section 25660 Business and Professions Code). And when I started complaining about it with the chief manager. And ask here where I can I write this complaint in the store. She said: nowhere. And said if I continue to complaining she will call the police.So if you don't like something in this store - be quite or they will call cops)They didn't solve a problem, did not apologize.I were a buyer of this store for 6 months, and I don't have any problems, and I liked to shop there. But i never come there again!

I went to retire some money from western union and they were like can i see your passport? I said yes and then they said I don’t think this is real, sorry we can’t give you the money. Please if it wasn’t real the personal of the LAX airport would have notice. Horrible experience.

I shop here fairly often, but this time I had trouble finding what I wanted. They had just 2 jicamas, both GIANT. No fresh mozzarella - you knows, the kind packaged in water. And finally the lettuce was all fading... Drove over top the other grocery store at Turnpike and found what I wanted. I usually skip this place because checkout is slower - but maybe all the other customers know something I just learned: better produce!

Debbie was obnoxious to me today. Then, following her example, Bobby, who took over her register, instead of diffusing the situation, continued to be absolutely condescending and obnoxious to me. Told me I was rude in front of other people. When I went back in to get his name he was still absolutely rude to me. NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. And I have been in customer service myself for 30 years. There are SEVERAL ways my situation COULD have been handled, but they chose to treat me in a condescending, disrespectful way in front of other people. I have posted public complaints on several sites already. Debbie and Bobby are horrible.
