This review has nothing to do with the pharmacy. It is a huge place they offer a lot of different things but it truly is the biggest CVS I've ever seen. It is a shame that the pharmacy is getting bad reviews hopefully those issues will be resolved.

National convenience store chain with a pharmacy. Perfect for quick trips to grab forgotten toiletry items, snacks, or alcohol. This store also has a decent selection of home medical devices.

I waited hours at Walgreens for a prescription and in the end they just couldn't figure out the insurance and we're at a stump of what to do. I transfered the prescription to cvs and they had the prescription filled and ready to go in less than 10. I know not to go to another pharmacy next time cvs is on the ball and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Go out of here way to give good customer service.

Pharmacy staff lacks customer service and professionalism.I have never in my life experienced a prescription being held due to a technical issues. Computer issues shouldn’t come at the patient’s health and expense. Rather than putting the onus on the patient insisting he/she should call corporate to update CVS computers, your staff should be taking those efforts on. Especially when your primary job is to fill patients prescriptions. If you admittedly know you run into technical issues with certain medications, a reputable pharmacy would be more proactive in addressing it.

Updated review:The pharmacy has greatly improved. There used to be crazy long wait times but now they are much quicker processing prescriptions. The techs are very friendly and have helped me get my pills quickly when I needed them.

My infant daughter has a raging ear infection. Our doctor called in a Rx to this pharmacy on Thursday afternoon. When we went to pick up the medication over 2 hours later, the pharmacist, after a 30 minute wait, was extremely rude and told us the order wasn’t in the system. He suggested I call my physician. Luckily I was able to get a hold of him after-hours and he recommended CVS check their answering service. The order was there. The pharmacist, annoyed, listened to the order and told us that he didn’t have that medication in stock. He then brushed us off by saying “it’s the weekend (Thursday?!), and he wouldn’t have it till Monday”. So we left without the medication. The following day we went to a different CVS. Fortunately they were very accommodating, but found out that the previous pharmacist hadn’t even placed the order in the system. They then tried to call that pharmacy and were on hold for over 45 minutes. We still don’t have our meds. My daughter’s ear infection is worse.In summary: don’t go to this pharmacy - the service is terrible, the pharmacist is rude and either overworked or incompetent.

Dropped off my script this morning at 8 am. I received a text within 20 min that they were processing it. They gave me a number to call on the text. This is convenient. I called it. It asked my date of birth. My pain script would be filled in one and a half days. If I wanted it sooner I was to call them. I did, I was put on hold for 90 minutes. I hung up. We retrieved the script for Walgreens. If you have lots of time this is fine but my pain is severe. I gave a two cause the automation was efficient. I will never use this pharmacy.

On Monday my Dr called in a prescription for me. Today, on weds., I went in to pick it up. They got the authorization but were out of the meds and i should call my doctor to prescribe elsewhere. Why didn't they call me? Duh. So here I am waiting for the Dr to call another pharmacy to fill the prescription for me. This is not acceptable service. I even tried to call before I went to the pharmacy but no one answered after holding for 90 minutes. After a long time of bad service i am finally done!

After being on hold with a question about a prescription for 90 minutes, we drove there. There was a problem and the Rx wasn't ready but finding that out required a lot of effort. If you need a drug right away or if you are sensitive about wasting your time, find a different drugstore. That being said, the staff was helpful and appeared to be working hard.

After 10 years of using the CVS Pharmacy Turnpike I am moving to Walgreens! One of the women who works at the pharmacy is so incredibly rude and stand offish and it makes the experience pretty terrible… 😏 goodbye!

The pharmacist Mohamed has become a DANGER to his customers not only due to being overwhelmed and overworked but because he lacks basic common courtesy and decency to deal with the public under pressure. As a 44 year customer I am SHOCKED,APPALLED and extremely concerned. How many people has he treat this way because he is " too busy". His words. I have video. You can check store video anytime too. I would testify in a court what I'm saying is true. This dude needs to find another job that doesnt put people's lives at risk or in danger. I came in June 4th , right after an ER visit to the Turnpike store # 9737 to fill my script for my migraines like I have had for some time. Mohamed, overworked and annoyed git upset and Loudly said CVS DOES NOT CARRY FIORCET ANYMORE! YOU HAVE TO GO TO WALGREENS FOR THAT!!!...... WHAT?? Since when? No generic? He rudely said NO! And dismissed me and went back to work. I was sick, just out of the ER. I let it go. Went to Rite-Aid across town! with no problem at all. TODAY when I went in to discuss it with Mohamed why CVS doesn't carry my meds anymore and as a long time customer why was I not informed So so shocking how rude he was to me. He did not want to talk about it, about why he treated me the way he did. No apology. And he was so flippant when I asked for his bosses name and number. He said go ahead call Stephanie. She likes these complaints so they can sit and laugh about them. WOW... JUST WOW... When an employee can act like that and know there is no repercussion.. Disgraceful. Scary. I will Not be coming back to the pharmacy and will be showing my video of Mohamed saying He does not care to anyone I can and all my friends who shop there. CVS should be ashamed fir employing a person like like that. I worked with the public 18 years. Never have I seen someone act like him.

THIS IS THE WORST PHARMACY IN SANTA BARBARA, DO NOT USE! This pharmacy staff is rude, makes excuses for the situations THEY cause. If you use this pharmacy expect an HOUR wait time. If you try to call this pharmacy expect to have 5-10 calls in front of you that never get answered. This pharmacy is so bad that I will never use another CVS if I can help it.

OK CVS. Good pharmacy department. Check out area is strange because there are queuing areas for the registers which I don't like. Also, lines can be long for checkout due to lack of cashiers.

Worst customer service. You wait on hold for 30 mins then they Hang up on you then try to call front store and they won't let you speak to a manager and they just transfer back in the ques to listen to awful high pitched music. Thanks cvs 1 start is 1 too many.

The only time they will pick up the phone in the pharmacy is to put you on hold ... presumably to make the phone stop ringing. They might as well take the option to speak to someone in the pharmacy off of their automated service.

Cvs turnpike is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever come across. The reviews you read are true. Avoid the pharmacy and store at all costs.
