I just love supporting small businesses and I try to look for ones that are specifically LGBTQ+ friendly so when I saw the flag outside of their window, I wanted to check it out. Everyone was so accommodating and very knowledgable. You can tell the owner and staff take great care in what they're selling. There are designated parking spots right outside, which is a necessity for this city! The prices were reasonable and I signed up for their free rewards program. While I was shopping, I overheard one of the sales reps helping someone with an adoption package. I was told that if you recently rescued from a shelter or rescue group, you get some stuff like food and treats as a thank you for adopting instead of buying. How great is that?! I've never heard of another store having that kind of program and I so appreciated them for not only encouraging people to adopt but to also help them start off on the right nutrition! It was my first time visiting this pet store and certainly won't be my last! Thanks again for great service!!!

Nicole was so amazing and informative. I have a new rescue dog and she took the time to walk me thru products, food and chew toys.Pet ID selection was great we made the adoption official with her new ID tag - will be back it’s a great pet shop.

I was first introduced to this store through the "picketing pets" program. The program really helped me in my time of need. All of the employees (Janiese, Ivan, and Nicole) have been incredibly kind and helpful. I love the small town feeling and sense of community. They have great products that keep my doggie baby happy and healthy. They have definitely made a life long customer out of me. Thank you again Off the Leash and especially Nicole for starting the picketing pets program!

I went into the store looking for something to help calm my dogs with anxiety. I didn’t know what to look for, but one of the workers came up to me to offer assistance, so me thinking that I’m just going to be pointed to what I’m looking, I ask where I can find “doggy weed” (yes I know). Instead, I am recommended what types of products would work best for my dogs specifically, other items that can help as a starter, dog training options/referral, and samples to see which would work best with my dogs. All of that just surprised me, so I can see myself returning here for any kind help with my dogs. I’m terrible with names but i think her name is Nicole, so whoever you’re at Nicole, you’re a real one, you’re awesome, and I can’t thank you enough :)

I needed a no-pull harness for my beagle, she thinks she’s the leader of the pack and re-litigates her case daily. As a puppy we used a plastic pinch collar that was okay for awhile but I always felt bad if it was choking her whenever she pulled. We stopped by Off the Leash after picking up prosciutto at the Argentine shop, Rincon Argentino, a few doors down. We took Lola in and a really great employee named Raven helped us with a harness. She recommended one called “Freedom No-Pull Harness”. Raven adjusted it and made sure it fit Lola properly. It was a great experience. Oh and they have well priced CBD tinctures and treats.

Great store! They have knowledgeable and friendly humans + cute fur workers too! They have great food / treat alternatives for our furbabies, which is great. Very well kept and clean. This pet store is great! Really helpful staff that are always ready to give a great recommendation for your pup. My dog loves coming here. They always greet him warmly and give him treats. They have a good selection of healthy, small batch dog food and treats that don't use any additives. There's always a cute selection of toys and accessories. Highly recommend this pet shop.

This place is so lovely! With our previous dog I ordered everything online because it was easier (it was also NY so carrying big bags of dog food home wasn't so fun), but I just adopted a tiny little dog so I decided to walk over and check it out and I'm so glad I did. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful, and because of the adoption bundle I was able to walk out with about $100 worth of free food for my dog, which was a great surprise. Ivan assisted us and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgable.

So glad I found this place , the staff is top notch and really knowledgeable Melanie specifically helped me get the best of the best for my big cane corso from organic treats to joint supplements! Truly a one stop shop ! If you love your little fur balls as much as I do you should definitely check them out! Theese freeze dried Alaskan bites are one of Heras new favorites!

Off the Leash is off the chain! We're switching our cats over from dry food to wet food and everyone at OTL has been so helpful during the transition. Everyone I've met has been helpful and knowledgeable and kind and encouraging, and tolerant of my cat-dad anxieties, very much including but certainly not limited to Janiese. I am really glad I found this store and excited to keep shopping here!

I came in looking for a kibble recommendation for my dog who has a sensitive stomach. The owner was so nice and very helpful! He reviewed multiple brands with me and compared nutrition, ingredients, and price. He really knows his stuff! My dog has been doing great on the new recommendation and it doesn’t break the bank. If you seek the best overall value of high quality products, affordable prices, knowledgeable staff, as well as kind and helpful customer service, this is the place to shop for your furry ones!I was so pleased to find Off The Leash looking for a high-quality boutique dog food that is made with only whole ingredients. Even if you do not live in Glendale, it is worth the drive (and right off of the freeway.) They are a small business and they support small producers as well. They carry pet foods that are made with purpose, care, and quality ingredients and these guys know their stuff. I had a handful of questions that they answered with ease.They know their product, they are proud of their offering and they are so kind to anyone to walks in the door. Sure you might get 5% off shopping at the other guy but I can guarantee you won't have the same positive experience.Trust me, it's worth the visit!

This is hands down the best place to shop for all your pet needs be it food, toys or other... You can tell they really do care about all of your furry friends well being. They only offer the best and will help you find the right options. Make sure you stop by and check out the kitty adoption events when they do them.

I can't express my gratitude enough for this place. The owners are so extremely caring and knowledgeable. The foods offered here are obviously thoughtfully curated. The selection here isn't even offered at major retailers like Petco. THIS stuff is good. I have a tight budget but they were so helpful in explaining all kinds of ways I could rethink the way I feed my cats (most cat food out there has a bunch of fillers which is not healthful, as they are obligate carnivores!)They also offer CBD pet products. I called in a panic because the facility I got my cat spayed at did not provide pain meds for post-op, and I did not want to put her through a vet visit afterward to get pain meds. Off the Leash came to the rescue with info about pet CBD... which will save my cat a lot of stress/inflammation/pain and will save me a lot of anxiety.The selection here is top-notch in terms of quality and the prices are better than anywhere else I've seen. Go here if your pets are your fur-babies and you want to truly feel confident that you're providing them the best lifestyle possible! Thank you Off the Leash

Called multiple times looking for a novel protein food for my french bulldog. Owner answered all my questions and was extremely helpful.
