As soon as you walk through the door, you know you're in pastry heaven. The smell is incredible! Perfection. The almond and chocolate croissants are amazing! I always buy so many, but they don't last long. Any loaf of bread will be devoured and excellent with any soup, sandwich, or plain butter. I wish this place was closer to me, but it's ALWAYS worth the trip. Don't forget dessert! There is so much to choose from!

Loved this tiny French cafe. Menu was basically three quiches and all the best French pastries. Also espresso based coffee drinks and the most authentic French breads.Weekend mornings can be busy. There is seating inside or a few tables on the lovely patio in back.

This might be one of the cutest cafes that I've ever been to! Nestled in the adorable town of Glen Ellen, this cafe is the perfect stop for breakfast or lunch - the quiche is out of this world! The owner is super friendly and so authentically French, she really made the experience so enjoyable! They have a beautiful back patio too. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Absolutely amazing. Every pastry you could ever imagine. The place smells absolutely heavenly. The woman serving us who I assume was the owner was so sweet and so helpful. You can tell she loves what she does. We got a bunch of things to go and had the most incredible breakfast spread. Pictured: croque madame and the fluffiest freshly baked chorizo turmeric bread. Don't pass on this place.

WORTH the 15min drive from central Sonoma. The owners are French—which shows!—and extremely welcoming and friendly. Enjoy fresh pastries, sandwiches, and coffee, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. 🇫🇷Vegetarian options: Vegetarians: get the quiche provençal!

One of our last stops before leaving Glen Ellen, and it was lovely. The Croque Madam was very good! I was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. Also, there a nice patio in the back so we were able to enjoy our coffee and food with our dog. Definitely recommend this place, and we are excited to come back.

An excellent little French bakery, cute cozy and delicious! Owned and operated by French folks, don’t be surprised if you hear French being spoken. If you know how to speak it feel free to ask for what you want in French - they love it! This is a popular little spot so if you don’t get in soon enough you might be waiting in a line out the door. We went 3 days in a row - it was that good. All sorts of great bakeries; both sweet and savory. Lot of choices for breakfast and lunch. There is parking in front of the little cafe. They have seating indoors as well as back patio and front. Coffee could be better, but all the other yummies make up for it. Clearly it’s a favorite not just by tourists but also the locals. We were eating well and were in good company! Merci beaucoup!

Such a cute French bakery! My husband and I got the croque madame sandwich, a raspberry and chocolate brioche, a petite chocolate brownie thingy, and an ice mocha. The croque Madame was so good because of that béchamel sauce or cheese in it. My husband said he wasn't hungry when we first got there but when he took a bite of the sandwich, he said "it's too good not to eat" and proceed to finish half of it. I was lucky to get the other half! The brioche was also excellent. It tasted fresh and not too sweet with the raspberry and chocolate. The salt on top balanced the pastry off really well. The petite chocolate brownie was gooey when we bit into it, I was not expecting that which was a nice surprise. The staff is friendly and I loved how our server was actually French! We met up with friends here the morning after our wedding and we all agree that this place is just wonderful.

Epicurean delights in a cozy and inviting space.Finely crafted pastries, breads and treats accompany robust coffee and espresso drinks. Nice service. Small outside area in front with a larger patio in the back allowing you to watch the baking happening from a window. Cozy inside area. Fits in well in wine country. Usually a line, but it moves fairly quickly.Updated December 2022- still 5 stars all around! A terrific breakfast spot with authentic French quiche and pastries. We always look forward to eating here.

This lovely new French Bakery is a welcomed addition to Glen Ellen! They have a wonderful selection of croissants, eclairs, tarts, breads, macaroons, quiche and more. Their coffee is rich and strong and a perfect compliment to their delicious pastries. The inside is bright and clean and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. There is also ample parking in the back of the building. During the week you'll find locals stopping in to enjoy this great place.

When you see the outrageous display of buttery pastries you are hopeful these creations will taste as good as they look, but somehow that doesn't happen. Most everything we tried was flat in taste, or gooey in an unpleasant way. They have to go back to the basics to comprehend the nuances in creating proper, rich, flavorful French style baked goods. Although, It's a lovely shop with cheerful charm throughout.

We picked up a bunch of items here.. brownie, almond croissant, steak baguette, choco chip cookies, choco croissant and more. Everything was quite yummy and we would have loved to come back.We did have an unfortunate experience when it came to a severe hazelnut allergy. My 7 year old has a specific hazelnut allergy. We made sure to check with the staff if anything had hazelnut as we travel all over the world and try different foods, carefully. Staff clarified saying only the cookie had hazelnut specifically and Of course we were aware of cross contamination as a possibilityThat being said we specifically asked her to use fresh utensils to serve the goods to us. Since we mentioned it we thought it should be fine to have the almond croissant(which the staff confirmed does not contain Hazelnut) the kid had one little half right outside the store and was fine. This is a precaution we take and 2 hours later she had the other half. Within a few minutes, she had a severe reaction. As we were familiar with the allergy we knew it had to be due to the contamination through the spoon. This was very disappointing and scary. Luckily we were able to get our child safe by taking her into urgent care. This review is not for folks who don’t have allergies, I myself loved the desserts here. I just hope this helps others with allergies be extra cautious and ideally avoid based on your severity. We understand this is a small business but allergies are serious and I only hope either the business takes it more seriously or people read reviews and make the decision to avoid if they have life threatening allergies.

Went for pastries and coffee on a Saturday. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Had a plain croissant, an almond croissant (which looked rather like a bear claw) and a blueberry croissant (rather like a blueberry danish) with a pair of iced coffees, one with cream. All were good. The almond was fantastic. The blueberry was delicious.Lovely seating area behind the shop.

Best sandwiches and pastries in the area (and pretty much anywhere). There was a line but it moved pretty quickly. Service was great, sandwiches super fresh, pastries were incredible. Bonus: clean bathroom. Fantastic place. Will be back any time I'm anywhere near here.Kid-friendliness: High chair, staff friendly towards children, casual atmosphere
