If you’re looking for a professional grooming service, I highly recommend Cali Pet Goodz and especially my dog’s groomer, Kristina. I’ve tried other places closer to my residence but a few extra miles is so worth it when you know your pet is in such good hands.

I took my dog in yesterday for an appointment and he came back fully shaved. I noticed with every small dog with fur they don’t even bother to take the time and brush them out. They shave them down completely. They shaved his tail completely. The hair around his snout and his whiskers. He seems very anxious and distressed since yesterday. He was there for 5 hours just to get shaved. He had enough hair below some matted hair that could have been easily clipped and brushed out. I have taken him to other places before where they did that. This place completely shaved him and charged me 125$. Price doesn’t matter if it was truly professional but they are not at all. Please don’t bother to take your pet here. They will shave him completely down. Worst groom EVER!

Brought in my border collie/australian shepherd mix and my rottweiler. My aussie had years of impacted shed (family dog and they dont brush him as much as they should) he was nervous to be left there and they handled it amazingly, they let me walk him into their grooming station since he was being shy. He was there from 1:30 to 5ish and he looked like a different dog when we went to pick him up (in a good way) his fur was so much softer and ALL his impacted shed was GONE, and I love how they trimmed up his legs and stomach. He had matting around his back end and although I told them it was ok to shave it if they needed to, I appreciated that they actually took the time to detangle it. My rottie is my personal dog so I stay ontop of her grooming. She was really only there for a bath since I was taking her on a trip, and I don’t know what they used but her fur was so much softer than when I bathe her at home and the scent they used didnt smell too strong, which is important to me as I have a sensitive nose. They also trimmed her nails perfectly, since shes a rottie, she has black nails and you can’t see the quick, and in the past, other places ive taken her to (AHEM…petco…AHEM) cut her quick. Aussie ended up being $120 and rottie ended up being $75, I would 100% go back again and I definitely will be so that we can stay on top of the aussie’s grooming. Loved the staff and the work put into his grooming!!!! would give 6 stars if possible.

We followed Kristina to this wonderful shop and have not had one complaint! The communication is fantastic and the quality of care is outstanding. I knew it would be this way when Kristina, our groomer of 9 years decided to accept a position there. She is caring and skillful, knowledgeable about her profession and passionate about the care she provides to her clients. I feel she is a part of our family now after all these years and I know she feels the same.

I LOVE this place. My pups turned out AMAZING, but I love how clean and fresh the atmosphere is. The store is refreshing to step into. Anastasia did an amazing job on my pups (and they even smell INCREDIBLE now) & explained everything I needed to know and answered all my questions about the grooms I wanted for them. The entire staff has an uplifting & joyful attitude and put me in a good mood as I walked in. You can tell the whole staff loves what they do, enjoys the work, and definitely cares about your pet and their individual needs. This is the first groom shop I have gone to where my dogs don't come home to me scared out of their minds. They were so happy when I saw them, just sitting smiling & wagging their tails. Definitely going to be a regular now.

Had an appointment and didn’t know the wait time would still take multiple hours. I sat outside and noticed my dog was on a leash in a bathtub for a long time. He’s a nervous dog and pulls sometimes. It looked like 2 people were working and a couple of dogs were leashed up. When I got my dog back his eyes looked red like vessels popped. I won’t be coming back.

We absolutely love this place! We have two dogs and a bearded dragon. Finally we can grab food for the whole pet family in one location. The grooming services are amazing and I love the online scheduling, appointment reminders and most of all the quality for the price. Both our dogs look and feel great when they leave! Such a gem 💎 so glad we have a legitimate locally owned pet store and grooming business in town.

I have a Lion Head Rabbit and besides the Vet in Gilroy I have yet to find a place that would cut his nails untill I walked into their shop. They have one tech (that I'm aware of) that cuts rabbits nails. They were quick and professional. Walked in and done in min but check what tech is in to be sure they can depending on the pet your taking. But great people. Great shop.

I just wanted to reach out and let folks know how amazing the staff is at the new Cali Pet Goodz by the Dollar Store on 1st. I took my two German Shepherds there for grooming and what a great experience. I had a fearful pup who wasn't fond of strangers and the owner took the time to enter him in and calm him down. After such they explained they were able to get the muzzle off and bath and brush him. Hats off to these folks for the carefulness and service. Highly recommended and I will be bringing my dogs back. Be sure to stop by and get your name on the list! Great prices and great customer service.

Super sweet staff. They don't require anything special to groom your dog. They took my Frenchie in for his nails even though he was acting skittish. The worker got him calmed down and trimmed his nails in no time. They are WAY better then the place inside PetSmart who have denied me service twice as a walk-in stating "computers were down" .Bring your pets here to support a small local business you'll be glad you did instead of the rude, can't be bothered box store PetSmart.

I love this place! Finally a place where it has hours that work for me my grandson Blaze will actually enjoy coming , and when he is groomed omg!! He feels and is so happy!! I wish I had started bringing himIn sooner and our new addition Remy .. so I know my animals are in excellent hands here !!and the manager Donna she is AWESOME !! I mean she is fantastic !! Took my dog in for grooming and he came back totally shaved, even his tail was shaved and his ears cut so close he has scabs under both left and right side of his ears/ neck absolutely the worst hair cut he has ever had. I was asked how short and I told them #3 on the sample the clerk showed me, no whiskers left on his face no ear hair and no tail. He was shaved , and it cost 105.00I would not have been upset at the cost had he been cut like a professional. Will not be returning here ever. I should of asked if a licensed or even a trained employee would be cutting my little dogs hair. Obviously they are not trained professionals. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Very friendly staff, clean and cozy. My dog chewy was not able to get groomed due to aggressive ness but, they were very nice. They were able to do annal express for my dog chewy. Hopefully chewy can get use to the groomers so he can get groomed in the future.

We follow Kristina wherever she goes! Kristina has taken great care of our fur babies for years. Cali Pet Goodz has been our favorite home of Kristina's because of their easy online booking and text notifications/reminders. The staff are friendly and our dogs seem content to be there.

Horrible grooming services and expensive! The work they did on my pet was over $150 and it looked like a kid gave my pet a haircut. Never again!!! I’d advise going to PetSmart instead.
