This place brings back memories from high school, small town hang out, clean and friendly atmosphere. Family gathering and social hang out for teens just enjoying food and friends. I'm so glad my daughter suggested to dine in at Red Rooster. One of the best burgers tasted in the past 6 months. The food quality, the presentation, and the seasoning was just tasty and delicious. The fries were another plus crispy and soft. Thank you to the owners for having a great place and the chef for putting love in the presentation.Kid-friendliness: Nuggets and chicken tenders and a cool milk shake bar.

Great place to stop for home made food. Our first visit here and burgers and fresh salad absolutely worth it! Recommend to everyone who's passing by. And as a bonus, Drytown Smuglers played life.

I've been to red rooser alot since it opened, it is very hit or miss when it's good or not.The French fries seem to always be what's for sale at Costco and are always soggy.The burgers may taste good one day or be completely bland with no seasoning the next.But my last experience was the worst, that's why I'm leaving a review. I ordered 2 burgers 1 order of chicken strips, 3 fries and a large peanut butter and chocolate malt. The burgers were foul, it tasted like they just got done cooking fish on that grill, I don't know what was wrong with them but they were very fishy and tasted horrible, and the lettuce was brown and wilted. There was nothing fresh about this burger at all.The chicken strips were tiny and tasted like they were cooked the day before.The fries were soggy and hardly cooked.The worst one was the milkshake, the chocolate and peanut butter malt was disgusting, how do you ruin that? It had barley any chocolate, there was no peanut butter just peanuts, the peanuts were rancid, and there was no malt. I had to throw it out and we went to the gas station and bought milkshake makings and did it ourselves.The meal was $55, and we bought the shake separate order, it was $8. For $63 dollars I'm amazed that the food was this bad, we had to throw more than half of it away!We would like to support local businesses, especially one of the only ones in Gardenvalley, but I will not be going back.

We've been to Red Rooster several times and it seems like it's deteriorating to the point where we've decided not to come any more. Atmosphere is cute, but there's no heat in the winter so wear your jacket even inside - it's freezing. Food is decent although the fries were overcooked and the hamburger patty was small. Be prepared for VERY LONG wait times. It took OVER AN HOUR since placing our order to cook a burger and fries!! A lady after us told us she was told it would be 1 1/2 hours wait for her burger to arrive. Another family never received their order and asked for a refund before leaving. Ridiculous!

Best patty melt ever!Fries are fried in fresh oil. Ranch is delicious.It's very expensive for just a sandwich and a side of fries, but my kids and I go all the way there once in a while because they're so good.The young person at front-end counter was very pleasant.

This place is busy because the food is fantastic! Country setting with a park across the street.They work so hard here and always make sure you have just what you ordered etc. One person claimed they microwave your hotdog which is a blatant lie. It's all cooked on the grill! Or you can have the Sunday brisket on the patio where it's being BBQ'd.. They have the best food of any hamburger place we have ever been..

I had a rather unenjoyable experience with the staff at the register. I had a friend order the veggie burger specifically because it included cheese and not as an extra charge. On the menu it says (includes cheese and tomatoes) yet the cashier insisted that he had to charge us for extra for cheese. When I repeatedly asked him why it was on the menu that it was included and why we were being charged for it I was given multiple excuses including that the burger itself contained cheese inside it which is not true. ultimately we were still charged for something listed on every menu as included. I have had many people raved to me about the location and as my first time visiting, I was pretty disappointed in the service.

Shoestrings was a much better burger joint. Burgers are frozen pre-formed Patty's and frozen crinkle cut fries. For the price and time it takes they should be made to order and cooked to doneness you prefer.. Just tried them again and when I went to pick up my order they said it would be another 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready.

So disappointed and this restaurant is the closest to my home. I ordered a steak salad; the steak was thin to the point you could see through it, dry- so very dry and incredibly salty to the point it was inedible. I had asked for mushrooms, they never included it. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know, couldn’t get a hold of them. I had been there one other time and they had gotten my order wrong that time too. The customer service is terrible and it is over priced to boot. Sticking to the local take and bake from now on and never coming back here again.

Had to grab some food for the kids after going to Sutter's mill and did a quick search to find this place. Glad I did. I did an online order--everything was ready when we picked it up, kids loved the food (chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks and shakes), and the people behind the counter super friendly. Update: I've been here a couple of times since I did the review below. Service has been perfect and seating in the bar is comfortable for larger folks.Food is good but it took a long time to get our order. It took 45 minutes to get the order. They need to improve the seating inside the restaurant, booths are to tight for plus size people. This place could be 5 stars if they improve service and get some tables and chairs or better booths.

We've been less than impressed with the cooking ability of the employees at Red Rooster. Limp fries, burger meat not fully cooked, jalapeno poppers cold in the center. Hubby order a double cheeseburger and one patty was cooked and the other wasn't. How does that happen? It would be nice if they had a competent, trained cook. Also, they don't have the ability to tip on the machine that takes ATM cards. Won't be coming back.

Super yummy! We came in before they closed (not knowing they closed at 8) and the food and service was still wonderful. I felt awful when I realized they must be waiting for us to leave so I scarfed down my food quickly, I wish I had more time to enjoy it because it was delicious. I thank the staff for putting up with us even though we definitely made their night longer. The food was worth the stop and I'd visit again. (Earlier this time)

A friend suggested meeting up for a quick bite here at Red Rooster Burgers. (I used to know this place wayyyyy back when it was the R&R. Love that they went along with the original name. My grandpa used to frequent the bar/ restaurant after work. Lots of fun memories) Anyhow, I'm impressed with prices and amount of food received. I went with the BLT, my dad had a grilled chicken salad. We both enjoyed it very much. My son picked a burger & said it was juicy & flavorful.
