Amazing selection and plenty of the plants I was looking for at different stages. They have a nice, easy to understand layout and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Check their availability tab on their website to see if they have what you're looking for. Mark down the location and then find out on their site map. Bring a trailer if you're buying big stuff, they won't let you strap a giant pot to the roof of your car. Be safe and ask for help. They'll bring a loader and help you get it in your pickup if you ask. I didn't even get quarter way through their 20 acres of plants and I walked around the green houses for an hour. Definitely worth a look. Plus they're in a pretty scenic part of California so that's cool too.

Wonderfully cheerful staff and knowledgeable timely customer service! We were searching for a live Christmas tree in a pot and had literally acres of trees with an enormous variety of healthy species and sizes to choose from. Pleasant atmosphere with ample parking.

As always, a huge variety of plants, shrubs, and trees. Some are hard to find in Sonoma County. It's fairly easy to locate in-stock items with their online inventory and location guide. The parking lot is very muddy in wet weather, so be prepared. The staff are wonderful and helpful.

Vast amount of plants, fruit trees, and all types of trees. In a well maintained environment. Helpful staff who help educate/choose your plants and will transport your plants/trees to your car. My brother and I got 5 fruit trees on this visit: 2 nectarines, 1 bing cherry, 1 rainier and a white peach. We have bought trees here in the past which have produced delicious fruits. We’re looking forward to seeing the progress with these new ones!

Sad to write a low-star review but enough is enough..after making numerous trips and purchases to this place as part of a full property makeover, yesterday was the last straw. While the plants, trees, etc do tend to be very healthy and hearty, I will no longer spend my money at a business that has such piss-poor, surly and condescending staff. There has not been one single time that I have interacted with anyone at this nursery that has given any semblance of customer service or remotely answered a simple question with anything less than a sneer. Lower prices and expansive variety no longer add greater value than simple, congenial customer service. I am left to surmise that their landscaper/wholesale business is what most likely gets a smile and “thank you”…or at least less grimmacing and the staff’s best impression of grumpy cat energy. I’m choosing to support local nurseries that actually want and appreciate my local dollars not going to big box. Good riddance Urban Tree Farm.

This place is truly impressive, not only for the huge and well-organized collection of plants, but also for the extremely well-informed staff. We've visited here several times now and we get thorough information on the plants we want every time. They have an excellent database on plants and their locations within the farm, so everything is easy to find. Start at the info booth (also where you pay for your plants) and the employees can hand you a map marked up with locations for everything you need. The most impressive thing is how much info the staff can give you on each plant you buy. They have plenty of carts for you to get your plants, or you can just put a ribbon on your selections and the staff will go get everything for you. They also deliver to your residence, for a reasonable cost. It's a fun place to browse and learn about different plants.

Love this place. It was super busy today, but the staff were still very friendly. The woman helping us gave us a map and pointed us in the right direction. The selection is amazing. We found what we wanted, and we're planning on having stuff delivered which is another nice offering. Of course we have to pay for that, but it's way better than hauling a bunch of large plants home.

A truly amazing place filled with the widest variety of plants, shrubs & trees you might want. Easy to access and very affordable with an exceptionally helpful staff - - though the place is so big you will likely get lost and turned around when trying to remember where you saw something. HINT: know what you want and use the online inventory sheet to plan your visit.

The worst customer service. I have bought over $3k worth of plants and got them delivered. The three maple trees were basically cooked upon delivery and they could care less. A year later I gave them another chance, they never responded to my request to add another plant onto my delivery- once I got a hold of someone they hung up on me three times and never called me back.

Great place with good plants, but be careful what you buy there, there's quite a few highly invasive plants they sell. Definitely regret purchasing a few.The calflora staff are much more helpful, but urban tree definitely has a broader selection of large plants.

This place ROCKS! I bought the majority of plants I needed to complete my backyard landscaping project. All of the employees were helpful and friendly. I had a blast choosing healthy beautiful plants with Ora. You cannot beat their prices (believe me I TRIED) so I was able to get most of my plants well within my budget. Thanks Urban Tree Farm! Totally redo from taking out lawn and of juniper bushes and oleanders. Kate and Ann were awesome in helping me through my selection that would work. Great suggestions. Everyone there is super knowledgeable. Urban TN Farm is the place to go, such a large selection from picking the plants (over 80 had to get) to delivery their service was awesome.

If you're looking for trees, ground cover, or a wide variety of plants, this is the place. They have clear signage stating that they don't sell veggies, but that's not a problem because they have everything else you could want. I've never seen so many Japanese maples in one place before. The property is huge, but it is well organized with maps placed throughout so that you don't get lost. They have a handy list of where to find plants on their website. If you aren't able to access the website, one of their friendly employees will be happy to assist you. Everything about this experience was positive. Oh, don't forget to wear sunscreen!

I highly recommend Urban Tree Farm and Nursery. They have a very good selection of strong healthy trees. In the center of the property, I like how they display shurbs and grasses so different colors of foliage are easy to compare.

Last summer I purchased a $300 manzanita. They gave us written instructions that were explicit about not watering too much. I followed instructions as given and the top half of the tree was dead within 10 days. I called and the first question they asked was, "what is your watering schedule because in the summer you need to water quite a bit". So far 'recovery' has been spotty at best.I'll use another nursery for expensive tree's.
