Shaver lake is a beautiful spot in the lower sierra national forest where the weather never feels like it gets above 75 and where the scenery is just as beautiful as the weather. Plenty on snow during the winter and a great spot to be on the boat or taking a swim during the summer. The beautiful little town of shaver if full of friendly faces and lots of kind hearted people who also happen to cook some amazing burgers, pizza and a perfect steak however you like it. Overall a perfect little town to visit and have some good times.

Shaver Lake Rocks!!! There is no better lake in California. Family has been camping here for 40 plus years. Sad to see like the rest of California, it gets crowded these days. To many people have found out about California’s best secret. I’m blame the internet for that.

This lake was beautiful!When using the bathroom make sure you take a light, paper, and something to sanitize your hands.

Clean and family friendly lake. Clear water (on edge where kids were playing in), which made playing much more fun. Tables along lake. Boat launch, rental options, tons of shade. Amazing views of forest.

Beautiful lake with a Marina. The drive from Fresno through Auberry is such a treat!During summer months, there are special events for the family. Sunsets are quite special as well. Bring a blanket and a picnic , sit on the sand by the water and enjoy the view.
