This was Honey's first time at shack in the back. She was thrilled and so was i. The husband and wife team are great. Honey came home looking great with a new collar and bow in her hair . She will be going back on a regular basis. Also was a customer who had a dog that looked just like Honey who just had puppies. Hmmm I got the number. Ive always thought it would be great to raise a puppy under Honey. Thank u guys for the nice mellow experience. Great j9b!!!

We’re new to the Fresno area and were looking for a dog groomer for our newly adopted dog. I contacted Shack In The Back and they immediately responded and were very friendly and informative about their services. They got me in the same day and the price was more than reasonable! Not to mention the owners were very friendly, professional and welcoming. The place was very clean and cozy. We loved the decor! Thank you for the service and our doggy is clean and very happy !!

This is our second time taking our Norwegian Forest cat Snow here. It's a bit of a drive for us from Kerman to almost Sanger, but oh, so worth it. They did an amazing job the first time that we just had to come back. The owners are good people and are so great with snow. ** I Highly recommend Shack In The Back Grooming!!!***

Very grateful they were able to get my rescue dog in and cared for. When I picked her up she looked great and freely went to both of them without fear so I definitely know they were amazing with her. She is a big dog as well and not all that cooperative going where she dont want to so I know she was a handful. My Goldendoodle loves visiting Shack In The Back! The team is super friendly, caring and communicates well. Appointments are easy to book and don’t typically have a long wait time - very accommodating to get your pup in ASAP. My puppy always looks and smells great. We have used their services three times now and are very satisfied with the attention to detail and wonderful puppy clip she receives. Definitely recommend!

I took my toy poodle there and told them I wanted a teddy bear cut with clean feet. They literally shaved all her hair off and left her ears and top knot long. She looks horrible!and reeks of a cheap perfume smell!! I had to bathe her as soon as I got home. Seems as if all they know how to do is a basic clipper cut using only clippers and guides. I wish they would have told me that they couldn’t do a poodle cut. My poor baby is uneven and basically bald. It’s going to take months for her hair to grow back. If you want just a BASIC wash and clipper cut then this place may not be bad. But if you have a poodle, doodle, or any breed that needs a cut do yourself a favor and go some place else. Waste of time and $$.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my standard Shih Tzu to Shack In The Back Grooming, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. I wholeheartedly recommend their services, as they exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner, who is not only a sweetheart but also a paragon of excellent customer service, made the visit truly delightful. Moreover, the prices were remarkably reasonable, and the grooming services were executed with remarkable efficiency. I cannot recommend Shack In The Back Grooming enough for your pet's grooming needs.

My dog looks amazing. Took a little longer than was told but the results are perfect. Would definitely recommend. The yard was all decorated so cute for Halloween as well. The Halloween tie and goodie bag were extra special treats

I was recommended by my co-worker, Lupe to come to SHACK In The Back to have my puppy dog groomed for the first time. Except for the distance, the whole service was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! Our puppy dog couldn't stop wagging her tail. I definitely will be coming here for my pet's grooming needs

I just left here with a HUGE smile on my face . My dog acts like a chicken with less courage than a hen . Taking her to the vet leaves her traumatized as with any business type of establishment. Plus it always cost way to much . Yet she has these nails that grow so fast and are so thick that i need a professionals help .Well yesterday I decided to give shack in the back a shot at this . Best decision I’ve ever made. I was greeted with smiles in a quiet country driveway next to a beautiful home where my dog felt at ease . We went in and it was clean , quiet and warm (it’s freezing outside) .The service was so friendly and fast . My dog didn’t even notice she had all 4 feet perfectly polished while waiting for the humans to finish being friendly. I needed this type of groomer . I love coming here and so does my dog . Great service, great prices, great place and great people.My new groomers from now on .💯

Very nice people! She got my Basset Hounds in the next day and did a great job grooming them both. She also sent us home with a goodie bag that both the dogs and my daughter enjoyed! I show dogs so I’m very picky about grooming. She exceeded my expectations!

I absolutely loved how they cut my fur baby. I was really leary as to were I wanted to take her being that I was the only person who would give her cuts. Darlene was nothing short of amazing, super sweet people. The set up is super cute and welcoming. This is definitely the place for Isis💜💜💜

I called ahead to make an appointment my golden retriever and was able to take him right in. They gave him a wash, de-shedding treatment, and a small trim and they did a wonderful job! He smells great and his coat looks wonderful! I definitely recommend this place, very professional.

Paid 65 bucks to get a face trim and shower. We ask them to keep it long and they did but usually groomers trim the private area and stomach. Just found 2 little knots as well. Would not recommend.

I took a very neglected backyard dog that I rescued here. Staff showed nothing but absolute love and care for her. They worked on her for hours taking out foxtails and ticks, even kept her overnight. My dog has a long road to recovery and I'm glad it started here. Thank you so much. 💓
