I didn't have the best experience. There was only one employee that was helpful. The other two were rude actually. Not welcoming at all. It was pretty expensive. It was clean so that was nice but I don't think that makes up for it. I'd rather go somewhere else for my needs

I went into this Petco after having a bad experience at the Friant location.First of all, The woman at the front Shane is rude, and when I asked for help she told me to find someone else that she doesn’t know anything about fish, as I’m asking her this I noticed a dog in a kennel with a blanket over him, I said aw is that you’re puppy she said yes hes her service dog, while I was inside this petco I noticed this dog bark and try to get other dogs while hes sitting in his kennel which made me concerned if I was to ever bring my own dog here. The gentleman in the fish department was excellent, answered all my questions, there was another girl I did not get.her name but she had glasses, she was a sweetheart as well. I’m not sure if i’ll be returning due to what I seen in the 20 minutes I was shopping

If I could give this Petco a 0 star I would. It’s not the first time I’ve had an incident with this “ Meli “ girl or whatever she’s named. She’s has the worst customer service ever. I’m surprised she’s even still working there. From having attitude while getting the fish, from physically pushing against me while going down the aisle. There was enough space for her to walk through the aisle without touching me, I mean at least I made enough space for her to walk by but I guess me being pushed against the side of the aisle wasn’t enough space for her to get through. Disgusting attitude, disgusting personality.

I walked into this store for literally two minutes. In that amount of time I could see that; the store was clean, the animals were well cared for and it didn't smell awful. I just wanted to check the price on the parakeets and once I accomplished my goal I walked out. The bird enclosures we're very nice looking as well. When I was just about out the door the guy that was at the front counter said thank you. I don't completely fault them for not saying anything to me, as I kinda sped through but they should be a little more aware or just say "Hello" or "Welcome." Even though that first guy was fiddling with something at the counter I know he was aware of me. Peripheral vision works for most everyone. All in all it's a cool store. I'll have to visit again, which I guess is a good sign.Update: It's still a nice place. Not too many associates on a Sunday evening but the few that are there are friendly enough. I met a cat named Patches, I told them somebody would adopt them. The kitty was very friendly and had a clean enclosure. The other cat was asleep. Check them out.

Negative stars honestly. This Petco has the worst customer service ever. You don’t even feel welcomed. And that one employee “ Meli” is the worst at attending. Most unprofessional worker there. She has a horrible attitude towards costumers. Why even work there if you can’t seem to like your job ?

They put us on a bad list because they said our cat was to be sedated before they’ll groom the cat again. They other locations read an internal report and stalled on not giving our cat a groom based on original location. Thumbs down on professionalism

Plus * Store always smells good . Whenever I ask for help with Dog treats the employees there always give great recommendations based on my dogs health concerns . (Top treats are the Better Belly Rings) . Don’t know the girls name but she great .

Just got a new puppy, and this pet store was the first we stopped at. They are wayyyy overpriced it's ridiculous! A simple small pet toy should not cost $12+, really?? Will buy my pets items from Walmart & Amazon, which items are more than half the price they charge. Gave 4 stars only for the young lady who assisted me at the first Petco out of town. Thank you!!

If I could put a negative star I would. I have been taking my Belgian Malinois to groom at Petco for months but first time at this particular store and I questioned the amount because it was for a “long haired grooming” and never have been charged that before and the cashier tells me, “we consider German Shepherds long haired dogs” when I told him my dog is not a German shepherd and not long haired either he said well it doesn’t matter your dog is considered a long haired. I told him that my dog has short hair and he isn’t considered long haired because he’s not. He did not listen, he told me that I will be charged the long haired dog fee. I told him I have always been charged the standard fee because my dog is not long haired and he said well not anymore. HORRIBLE customer service. If you work in the industry he should probably know a little bit about the different breeds. I did not pay the long haired price and I Will not be back to this particular store.

The team at Petco are fantastic! Every time I go in they are super helpful & knowledgeable of the products I need.Unfortunately I am adding an update. As of today Petco was my go to pet store, not anymore.I have always been able to call and have a product held at the counter for me as I'm literally 3 mins away from the location. But today I was told by the manager they couldn't and shouldn't hold items for me as someone might order the item online. What a disappointment and bad business as I shop the location often with 3 dogs and 4 parakeets. I now will take my business elsewhere I'm sure Petsmart or another pet store would like my business.

Went to Petco in the morning at 10:00 a.m. looking for Live Freshwater Fish. There was one employee at the register and the line was long. Waited for about 15 minutes, then came back an hour later.There was no employee running the store around 11:00 a.m.. One customer was waiting in line for about 5 minutes, then had to knock on the Employees door. The manager seemed unconcerned when the customer told him she and other customers had been waiting for someone to wait on them.The manager was not friendly when I asked for a red shrimp in one of the tanks. He said twice “all the shrimp are the same”.He scooped one shrimp out of the tank and dropped it on the floor. I mentioned several times that the shrimp he got was not the red colored shrimp. It was clear. He then said loudly “I am not going to stand here all day while you decide”.Not a very good experience.

I went to this location this morning. I spend around $100 / month on expensive cat food (Orijen, Tundra) for my two cats here. I came in to get a flea medication and after spending time trying to determine which would be best, I picked one out, but they did not have it in stock, so I asked the employee if he could help me pick one but he did not know anything about the options, so he asked his co-worker who also did not know anything about the options and suggested I talk to his supervisor. The supervisor came out and I told him I was looking for a flea medication for my cat and if he could advise me on one that they have in stock. His reply was "what are you looking for, because I don't know what we have in-stock"? His toned was rude (possibly I woke him up from a nap). I will not being going back to this store. I went to Petsmart, and employee was very helpful and had the same product I was looking at for a much lower price.

When I went into the store the other day, I watched a groomer named Kaitlyn cut a poor pup on the table.She looked unapologetic and didn’t care that she even did it in the first place. I wouldn’t ever think of taking my dog here to a groomer like that.
