First-time purchases for newly adopted dog. Dog I adopted was a rather large dog, so naturally I wanted to get a large enough bag of dog food to sustain him, (25 pounds) and as I looked around, much to my surprise there were no shopping carts. I approached a cashier about this, and to his credit, he offered to carry the dog food out to my car for me. That's all well and good, but I had intended to wander around the store and possibly make several other purchases, but I didn't want that poor cashier following me around the storeGreat customer service, but come on, guys, you lost out on possibly several other purchases simply because there was no shopping cart available!

My little Ivy was so nervous to get her first haircut but Jean displayed so much kindness and patience that she was okay. He went above and beyond to ensure Ivy was able to get through her grooming session with as much ease as possible. I would 100% recommend Jean if you want to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer all pet related questions I had. This was the best interaction I have ever had with Petco. Ivy and I will be returning in the future!

I bought a pump for my aquarium and the workers were helpful. They found the right one based on my needs. Prices are reasonable and no questions were asked when I had to return the pump as it was defective. The replacement one is working just fine. I recommend this store above the other pet-co locations.

We went on Friday 2/9/2024 we wanted to get more fish for our 30gal tank I had my eyes on some Black neon tetras never really seen them before so I just knew I had to have them so I informed a female staff member that I was ready when she was ready to assist she told me she would send another employee to help me that never happened there were only 3 staff members 1 female 2 males & The other male staff member was next to the male on the register talking to him, that male worker Had long hair & glasses I stayed in view of a female So she would know I still needed help She looked at me twice & never informed the staff member who was talking to the other staff member on the register. A few minutes passed, then the male with the long hair started helping customers coming to the Register the one that where he was talking to the other male staff member I was No longer being acknowledged or noticed we were just Standing there waiting That maybe there'll be a chance that she'll remember we're still there & send 1 member to us We were standing there for at least 30 to 40min max still no help we left disappointed & no fish in hand. I'm a service representative myself I know How busy it can get with only three workers but I always make sure my customers are not forgotten And I also make sure people that are not pulling their weight does their job even if they hate me for it. I would say if u can't handle the work with just 3 people get more that can put the weight of the workers that don't to the work

The young man who helped us mentioned he was new,but he was so nice and helpful with my adult daughter. We were there looking for a habitat for her new frog. He has a lizard, so he knew exactly what an amphibian we would need. The cashier was also very nice! Thank you so much for your help.

A couple of the staff are great. Others are meh. They're pretty understaffed (not their fault) and they do not have ANY shopping carts, so be forewarned.

My dog Carlos that's no longer with me rest is heart and soul who was kidnapped and killed by a driver anyways I took him to that store first story he'd never been to and he loved it and got the pee on everything and nobody complained that that story is great and because of that I know the Church of Joseph Smith Latter-Day saints is true is true

I bought a beautiful baby cockatiel with a brand new cage, supplies and toys. I became so attached to her and her funny ways. All of a sudden she became very lethargic and shallow breathing suffering a seizure and she died on my chest as she took her last breath. I don't care about the money. But what I do care about it the love that was ripped away from me . I also believe that Petco has a history of selling sick birds which disgusts me to my core!! And the employee had no sympathy at all as I talked to her on the phone. No heart at All!!!

Took my little cousin to go look at the hamsters and they were very informative and helpful with what we needed and the way to plan and buy all we would need to raise a hamster loved it and highly recommend this place to pet lovers.

I frequently visit this store. The only complaint I have is not being able to take the overfilled shopping cart to my car lol. I understand the homeless in the area are the reason for not being able to take the carts out but I think they should brainstorm a little more.

This place never let's me down when I bring my fur daughter in for grooming! They ALWAYS do a great job with her and she LOVES coming here. As soon as we pull up she gets excited and leads me straight to where we gotta go. They always make sure she's looking her best and she loves all the workers.

My Conure has taken a liking to the treats and dinner selections here since Whities changed their brand a few years ago. I would like to get another conure and they had a couple beautiful ones I might be able to get soon. They were playful and looked very friendly. I'm not sure if they clip wings here, I'll look into that.

I don't know why this store has really bad customer service. I've been here 4 times, and the customer service still hasn't improved. The reason why I returned here is only for emergency needs for my pets. Other than that, I would rather go somewhere else.

I found the cutest costumes for the dogs and their pet bedding was on sale. I like their rewards program. My daughter liked this location because of a groomer who always did a good job with her dog Blossom.
