If I could give them Zero starts that would be the correct rating. While in their store my family and I were followed around down each aisle all the way up to the cash register! When I informed staff they played dumb like we weren't being RACIALLY PROFILED and down played the event saying he just walks around the store. I ask to speak to the person who was following my family and I however, they said he wasn't there like he magically disappeared. I returned every item we bought. The second issue is we went there to get meat as well but didn't buy any because it smells and looks rotten. Their store stinks as well as the attitude of their staff! If you're a person of color I would suggest shopping elsewhere unless you're fine with being followed around the store while you try to peaceful shop. EL Toro Loco Market needs to take racially sensitivity training! Especially if you're going to be in a community with people of different ethnic backgrounds! I'm so disappointed in their service and the treatment we received!!! This is the last time we'll spend our money where we're not wanted or respected!

The location I visited was near the corner of west & Shields. It's an older store having changed hands over the years. Good meat market & produce.

First and last time eating there. Two tacos, no salt either one of them. Horchata, they had the audacity to serve me the left over from the bottom of the container and the drink is really unpleasant to even drink. I'm glad I only asked for two tacos.

Pros: Great little neighborhood grocery store. The store is clean. Employees are friendly & helpful. Prices are very reasonable. Wide variety of items.Cons: Parking lot is small & there are sketchy people hanging around the area but that's not the stores fault.

I really like this place... They have good quality food... The store is very clean... The produce was fresh an a very good price... Meat was of good quality and decent priced... The layout made it easy to move about the store with the shopping cart... I will definitely keep shopping here..

I like this store because it's close to home. I go here to purchase last minute items I missed when doing my regular shopping. I find the produce to be fresh. That's very important to me.

Produce is old and nearly going bad.. meat is expensive and poor quality, also their marinate they use is salty it over powers the meat flavor

Zany and shotty! Grand opening meant partially. There is a Cricket counter that is never open. I asked the check cashier a few inches away if I can pay my bill for my phone. 1st attempt"system down". 2nd attempt "attendant sick". 3rd attempt "havent opened". No bueno!

THINK IT OVER BEFORE BUYING MEAT BEFORE THIS PUNJABI S SUPERMARKET STORE.BEFORE BIYING CHICKEN, I ASKED THEM, " PLEASE , "CHECK CHICKEN", MAKE SURE IT S NOT SPOILED" . I TOOK IT HOME FAR AWAY FROM STORE, WHEN I PHLLED IT.OUT FROM BAG, IT REEKED, STENCHED, IT WAS SPOILED. GOOD THING I DIDNT PREPARE FOR MY BOYS, FOR MOST LIKELT I D V GOTTEN THEM SICK FROM IT : OUTCOME ? MOSTLUKELY INTESTINAL INFECTJON HAD THEY EATEN THAT CHICKEN.
