Comfortable family orientedThey have everything that you need , and honestly I DO CHECK expiration dates and freshness of produce, it meets all standards. Prices are adequate. I think the deli is my preferred best part with Harris Ranch meats, c’mon… it saves a lot for an excellent meal.This place is been there for long time, and am sure it will grow very soon.Please keep the front yard open for truck drivers like us. I look forward to buy victuals every time I return to Fresno.

This store is the closest to my house, but I choose not to go there. The selection of fruits and veggies are not fresh, the aisles are small and everything is super expensive. I do go there once in a while for snacks, and I like that they have Mexican bread there. I'm not too sure what to say about the employees, as I've only been here a few times and none of the employees have been memorable. It's great to have this store in the neighborhood though, especially for people who don't have transportation to bigger markets.

The store has the best customer service and I can't complain about that but they are pricey on some items that you can get elsewhere for alot cheaper maybe that's why they are because alot of people have to shop there if they have no transportation to go somewhere else where it is cheaper.

Your friendly neighborhood grocery food outlet. They have a little bit of everything you'd need for your household; from dish soap and toilet paper to carne asada beef and ice cream. They also have a decent selection of top quality produce to choose from; hense the name, "Choice Market".

Purchased the German sausage for this current Thanksgiving and was disappointed in the outcome. Have used Choice'sGerman sausage in the past, but my purchase must have been old merchandise or a different blend than what I'm used to getting there. Will have to rethink next GS craving purchase.

From the moment you walk in untill the time you leave, you feel welcome and you know that they appreciate your business. Their farm fresh produce along with their country style meat and deli counter is the best around and has been for over 40 years. Oh, and if you haven't had one of their deli sandwiches, you're definitely missing out.

Every time I come here the employees have been rude and condescending. If you are physically disabled... Do not attempt to shop here because you won't be able to get into the store because the first aisle that everyone has to use to come into the store is too narrow, a shopping cart barely fits and usually gets stick. Nor will you be able to enter the produce section with your chair either and there is no help from the staff. THE PLACE IS NOT WHEELCHAIR NOR WALKER ACCESSIBLE. Most aisles are too narrow even for the shopping cart. I had to park my cart and walk to access the produce.

Small yet convenient, has a lot of inventory, the owners and employees are always nice and helpful. In my opinion and what made me only give it a 3 star rating instead of a 5 is how expensive everything is. They would definitely benefit from lowering their prices.....******$5.49 is the price for their cheapest cigarettes!!!!$

The manager at choice market is not just rude.. he has no problem talking your money and not s supply the merchandise. The clerk forgot to put my milk in my bag… called them, they apologized and 3 days later MY HUSBAND went to buy coffee and mentioned the milk, she said “ yes I remember)He got the milk, on the way out the manager stopped him as if he was stealing… my husband told him the story, HE GOT IN my husband s face … started ARGUING with him, told him to go get your wife if you want this. Over a quart of milk my day is ruined because my husband is a gentle soul, and he’s all agitated from that so called manager. So, I called to see what the problem was… AND GUESS WHAT?HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! My advice to you all …CHECK your groceries BEFORE you leave. They may not put it ALL in the bag, EVEN though you paid for it.And then… don’t expect to get it at all. They rather give you a hard time than a paid item. Hope they get rich from the quart of milk, and since they ruined my day with bad mojo from their store…and rememberCOURTESY is not in their education….if you have health problems, like I do… do yourself a favor and avoid the frustrating thieves at CHOICE market.

Great family owned store. You will always get great service here. The meat market selection is fantastic and the price on their cuts are always fair. Price on most other things can be a bit inflated but this is a great place. Also they cash your checks for a fair price.

I remember going there when I was in second grade in 1971 buying penny candy. Very humble beginnings compared to the larger staff and huge business they do now. However, still has not lost it's charm and they are very friendly, professional and fast.

Nice, very friendly neighborhood market. BEST butcher shop in town!! Very high quality premium meats. They've been there forever!! MY grandparents shopped here when it was Pat's Choice Market. (Long time ago) When I'm going to BBQ, I always get my bone-in Ribeyes here!! They will cut them as thick as you like. BEAUTIFULLY aged meat!

I used to shop & cash my checks there for many years when I used to visit down there in Fresno. They have the freshest selection of deli meat to choose from ( especially their hot hogsheads cheese), cold beers and many other fresh meats, fruits and vegetables. Also, The owners & the staff are very friendly, courtesy and polite.

I have been shopping at this particular corner market for as long as I can remember! Friendly people always helpful! When I walk in I feel like I walked into a family store my family store everyone there knows me and my whole family! We go to choice sometimes three times a day and almost everyday! Whether it be just a soda or a full dinner this place is the place to go! As my dad and I say it's " the gettin place " we love this store! If you have never tried German sausage this place is the only place to get it from it is excellent and we have tried other places when we lived on the complete other side of town and they do not compare so we drove to choice! Can't recommend this place any higher it's excellent!

I really hate to give Choice markets 1 * only. The people that work there are fantastic, not only do they know you by name but they make you feel like a part of a family, all except for one employee who thinks that he is God's gift to Earth and out of his privacy will remain anonymous( but works behind the manager's counter and is very young, those who know I'm talking about will agree with me.) The older cousin and manager is a great guy, as well as their patriarch I assume but the double standards and prejudgment of customers based on their clothing or based on their tattoos supersedes customer service in the young ones eyes. I really wish I could give Choice 5 stars because they deserve 10.

i actually liked this meat market before, about a year ago , every iI d go in to they d sell good good fresh meat. i didnt care about paying a too expensive rib eyes n ranchera. supposed from Harris Ranch. i paid good buvks,DO NOT GO THERE ANTMORE, THEIR MEAT QUALITY DECREASED A LOT N IRONICALLY PRICES SOAR NOW.IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE BUYING OLD COWS NOW., MEAT S DRY , CHEWY.At least, i m done, just yesterday , istill gave tgem another opportunity, unfortunatly , THEIR MEAT S OLD.grade levell too bad.

Harris Ranch Beef in my opinion the best place to buy meat. If making a comparison - let me say hands down this market has the best. I've gone here for years and bought from other big named stores then swear no more because other grocery outlets just do not compare.

A bit of an old Fresno neighborhood is alive and well in the Choice Food Market. While working in that neighborhood, and actually stopping to experience the neighborhood, I was near the Choice. Needing lunch, my options included a few "brand name" fast food restaurants within a short drive, or walking across the street. I had been informed of a deli within Choice.Old time store shelves were filled to over flowing it seemed, PLENTY of inventory and selections. A manned full meat counter, fresh vegetables, all the cold drinks, bulk items etc.If you don't need another big box store run, but want a neighborhood grocery store atmosphere, try Choice Food Market on Olive just west of Highway 99.

Today I had my 2 year old & my 4 month old sons with me. Witch makes thing very hard to get anything done! But Everyone was very helpful and they even helped me out to my car. Thank you Choice market for making my day easier.

This place used to be the best, now their butchers don't even know how to slice steak. You ain't no butcher man! Drove 15 minutes to not buy any meat, is was brown meat anyway. Done with this place ✌️

This is a friendly little market to pick up something you forgot at the big super market. Good butcher here. Nice people. The lady who sometimes sells tamales in the parking lot is a great cook.

Love this store. Owners/employees are all so helpful and welcoming.The meat is really good. They get fresh Mexican bread delivered and have a nice selection of produce. They take wic there as well.

Unfortunately I've had bad experiences here. I go for the decent price on Tobacco. I take my little terrier. Just before he was certified as a service dog even though he was in training n perfectly behaved the guy had a fit. I just kept walking to get my drink he told me 3 times I had to take the dog out I told him I'd take him out when I left he was not happy & considerably rude even when I told him it was illegal for him to tell me to leave with my dog. Next time I came in prepared with the paperwork but I also had his service dog papers. People are so ignorant when it comes to service dogs.Plus it's not like he's a huge scary dog or Pitbull or Rottweiler.

Awesome little country store that carries everything you need and everything you didn't know you wanted happily sold to you by some great people with greatnbig smiles! Also they have more Basque Bakery Sourdough Bread (the best most tangiest crusty chewy sourdough ever) than all the Savemarts in town put together which is why I started driving from one side of town to the other but have continued because of the quality of thier products and the care shown by the staff. Great place you gotta go visit!
