I have a new Fluval Evo tank. I have been frequenting Blue Planet at least once per week for several months. It is a fascinating place. Kevin is knowledgeable and patient. The learning curve has been steep! Kevin's tanks are clean and the coral, fish and other livestock look healthy. This is my favorite coral haunt in Central California.

I have been in the hobby for over 10 years and I've known the owner for most of it. He is a hobbyist turned entrepreneur. The benefit of this is having someone who genuinely cares about your longevity in the hobby and not just selling you a product. Other stores in town are more interested in getting your money- Kevin wants your tank inhabitants to thrive. Very reasonable prices, high quality livestock, and dry goods are proven products. Only gripe is location; it's a nice Gem in an otherwise lackluster area.

I was very impressed with this store. Although small, the owner kept high quality reef and freshwater supplies, and was very knowledgeable about his stock. From talking to him you can tell he cares about the quality and the ethics of fishkeeping that many other aquarium stores I visited were lacking. I wish I was around long enough to see the redesign of his freshwater room. I will most definitely be visiting again if I'm in the area in the future!

Need corals or coral insights or gear.tonset up a coral tank, this is a good place to come. I honestly don't know if they sell tanks but they have everything else for corals. Including really nice corals.

Kevin is an extremely knowledgable hobbyist and has one of the best selections of coral, fish, and supplies in Fresno. Kevin is honest and his prices are fair and he also offers great customer service. I highly recommend his shop for anyone serious about keeping fresh or saltwater aquariums.

This is an awesome store! Whether you are looking for rare fish, corals, dry goods, or equipment, this place has everything. Called on the phone about my sump setup situation, explained a leak I was having with the tank, with me using improper terminology and little experience the owner was very helpful! I wen to the shop the next day picked up the unseal he explained to me the old ones were generic knockoffs which is why they failed. No more leaks now. My fish are incredibly happy in their new 210 gallon tank. Would recommend this place to anyone, owner is very patient and provides excellent customer service!

Best coral store in the 559 for various reasons:- owner is a man of integrity, knowledgeable, and friendly. He will not sell you a dying coral just to earn a profit. He looks after his customers and will only sell you a healthy coral.- as mentioned in another review, his prices are extremely competitive (even to online prices)!- has a wide selection of corals -- including soft, lps, and sps.- has great preventative measures to deliver/sell healthy saltwater fish and corals.This place has definitely earned my business.

I was there earlier today. And hands down best place in the valley. The owner awsome laid back guy if you're coming from far he'll givw tou a discount knowing that you had to drive hours to get there. Got 5 ultra to rainbow grade corals and WHHOOOOOOOO!!!! BOYYYY!!!!! The prices are the BEST I'VE SEEN SO FAR ANYWHERE IN THE VALLEY.

Excellent place! Walked in there for the first time on Tuesday asked the owner if he carried Apistogramma at the time he had none. He then took me to his computer and asked witch ones I wanted I picked out 4 different kinds and BAM!!!! 2 days later I got my fish that I've been looking for, for months. What a great place I will definitely be spending alot of time and money here.

Blue planet has some of the best corals from here to LA. A lot of rare corals that are hard to find and at great prices. A must see store for any body in the saltwater hobby!
