One day I tried to buy some fish here. I'm first-time fish owner and not thought too much. The assist person refused to sell me fish after knowing I had not prepared water yet. He gave me advice on how to treat water. I'm glad he respects life of fish instead of just doing business. Very professional

Great place for pet adoptions. They host animal shelters like Friends of Madera. My girlie had some sneezes when I first got her and grew up into a very happy, healthy, energetic lady!The banfield in this location was also my go-to when I lived in Fremont and I took my dog there as well. Staff was always very kind and helpful!

LOTS of options for any pet. Food, bedding, crates, containers, This place is pretty huge! Staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpfull fielding any questions you might have. They even have furry, feathered and fin friends to adopt. Grooming services available and you can even bring your pet inside to shop with you!

Grooming: avoid! Tried this place since it's much closer to me then my old spot, but they 1) cancelled an hour before my first appointment after a groomer called in sick 2) rescheduled, but didn't send any appointment info. 3) have rude staff. 4) didn't have my dog booked at the grooming location, but at their "pet hotel" which is not staffed at the front. They only notified me of this after waiting in line at the grooming spot. I waited 15 minutes at the "hotel" after ringing the bell and no one came, so I left. The grooming area was very crowded, loud, and dirty. I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one. Don't take any animal you care about to this location for grooming.

I love doing business with pets smart. We have three sweet doggies and when we take them to the pet hotel they are taken great care of. We also take them to Banfield veterinary that is in Petsmart and they also take great care of our dogs. We love every service we receive from petsmart and recommend this store for all pet owners. We always have peace of mind and trust the service we receive when we visit the store.Thank you from happy pet owners.

The grooming department always schedule my puppy very early in the morning and keeps him 4- 5 hours and he is always one of the last puppies to leave. One of the groomers has a very nasty attitude and she's extremely rude. Unfortunately we have very little grooming shops in Slidell but regardless I will never send my puppy there ever again.

They do not honor the online order. if you place order online for store pickup, they just canceled the order for no reason. i have placed order with different payment method with the same cancelations. AND yes they do have the item in stock on the store shelf. Guess they just been lazy.

Ive been taking my dog here to be groomed for over a year. Each apointment left something to be desired but my dog is a husky and they are harder to groom with such a thick coat so each time a felt that the services I payed for were adequate. With all that said it has been roughly 2 weeks since the last grooming apointment and I have removed a full grocery bag of undercoat from my dog with plenty more of it scattered around my living room. They did a very poor job and I will be taking my dog elsewhere in the future.

Very rude customer service, witnessed the manager and a floor salesman worker raising their voice to a customer and scolded a customer who couldn't speak English and were very disrespectful towards them. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this location since the floor salesman wouldn't sell goldfish to a woman that wanted to purchase for her son.

Unfortunately this is one of the few large pet stores nearby, but the lines here move slowly and are almost always long because there's not enough staff. I've seen the team turn down sales and turn down helping customers with fish, small critters, and more because they either didn't know how to help or the were the only one available and they needed to stay nearby the registers. For online order pickups, it can be a bit confusing and be prepared to wait! They have improved on curbside pickup wait times, but this isn't always available. Petsmart needs to get with it or they will be the next Petco in the area to become obsolete.

Do not take your beloved pets there for grooming!!! they are terrible specialists, not groomers!!! my dog ​​is 10 years old and I cut him in different places, but this was the first time he was cut so badly, there are also red marks on the skin, like wounds that were caused during the haircut!!! this is just terrible horror!!! take care of your pets!

Nice experience. I called ahead , asked them to bag up 30 live crickets for me. I was surprised that they kindly did it. Sadly there was only one check out person @ the registers, so it was still a long wait. The only thing I don't like about PetSmart is the slow , long lines. Otherwise all 👍 good.

Please BEAWARE OF this store employee named (Merry Carmen) she was so Rude I just asked her politely where could I find the cat food and she pointed with her finger and I looked at her again as I could not find she again look aggressively at me and said look there and out of my shock she answered in such a rude way as if I was there to take it for free and my bad luck again I spotted her in the next aisle and she gave me really dirty looks my dad and I had a very unpleasant experience. I really hope the management take notice of this . We had to find her name Merry Carmen from another employee. Since she was not even wearing her name badge .the guy name Philip at register was really nice. Greeted us and had a smile on his face that’s what you call a good customer service.

Brittany was excellent and the only groomer that I had confidence and excellence in customer service, a very gentle handling of pets and she had a real passion for pets.Since she is gone to All For Fur Grooming in Danville, I followed her till today.Others , they are there for money, incompetent, inexperienced, hopeless customer service.Even when I came to the cashier, she started to tell me my dressing code and I was furious about her manner of communicating.I have never taken my pet to this horrible grooming salon.The recruitment Department, Managers should look out of what they do , how they treat the pets when they give a bath, get those groomers who are compassionate and passionate for pets.

We visit PetSmart just about 7 days a week. Our Zorah, Doberman, visits there DayCamp! The staff is wonderful! They took the time to actually get to know us and most importantly Zorah. She was recently awarded Dog of the Week! I am not sure what I would do without this service PetSmart offers!

I asked for two small goldfish, and they asked me how much gallon tank i have. I told them 20 gallon,and then they said, "your tank would not even hold one goldfish, we cant sell it to you, its our store policy. " 😢 I really want to have those two small happy fish.😭😭😭 I've had my small goldfish in a 5 gallon tank for over 3 years, and now I have a 20 gallon tank, and it can't fit 2 goldfish 😓

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Go to Pawbabies in San Jose instead, that’s where I take my dog but they were all booked up unfortunately.They called me an hour after I dropped him off that he was vicious and they were not able to blow dry him. Which I have never had a problem before with any other groomer). I paid for the Bath,brush, and furminator which includes full blow dry, with up to 20 minutes of brushing with the FURminator & undercoat tools as well as nail trim, ear cleaning, gland expression, paw pad trim to neaten the feet. And when they gave him to me, he was damp, paws were untrimmed, nails unclipped, but they claimed to have done the dental and ear clean up (i don’t know how if they claim he was vicious) and when I said I would not pay for the full service they said they would not give me my dog unless I paid. All of the employees there and rude with an attitude and don’t care at all. While I went to the register to pay someone said they would blow dry him for 5 min (again how if they claim he was vicious). Never again! They shouldn’t make you pay full price for something they did not do. I could of done what they did myself at home, now I have to finish him up at home myself!
