Katie at Mountain Paws Grooming has been my go-to groomer for a couple of years now, even before they opened their new location. Katie is so sweet with both pets and people! Although my dog doesn’t really like to be separated from me and gets a little gun shy at first at drop off (knowing he’s about to get bathed or trimmed), by the time I pick him up he’s happy and clean and ready to take on the world again. Mountain Paws cares so much about their clients, always paying special attention to detail, making the experience as stress-free for pets as possible, all while maintaining very affordable prices. Professional, Courteous great care and handling of my pet!Amanda did an amazing job. First time for my 110lb German Shepherd. I was weary he'd get through the bath. Not only did he get through the bath, she was able to easily accomplish a full grooming from bath, trim, sani-area, and nails. She was calm, and gave him little breaks, and everything worked out better than I could have hoped!

So beyond happy with our experience at Mountain Paws. Very clean and professional establishment made a great first impression. Everyone was friendly too. Julie was our groomer for our 3 little dogs and she did an amazing job. One of our dogs is a senior with achy joints and Julie was so gentle with her, we appreciate that so much. Previous grooming businesses in Bakersfield with 4 + star ratings didn't come close to the beautiful job Julie did for us. They haven't looked this good after a dog spa day in years. They look good, smell good. They're happy & comfortable and we're very happy. First time customers today and now we will be regulars. I highly recommend Julie at Mountain Paws for dog grooming.

I took my puppy in for his first grooming ever, and Julie was so kind and gentle and caring with him. He came out looking absolutely amazing! And he liked them so much he didn't even want to leave LOL. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer. They did such a fantastic job!

I was new to the whole dog grooming thing but Katie at Mountain Paws Grooming got me on a good solid routine. MPG always listens to what I need for each season, let’s me know if there is an issue with my Mushu that I couldn’t spot, works to fit my schedule, polite and professional but at the same time personable. Establishment is bright, clean and inviting. Always a smile when I come in. Incredibly reasonably priced. Convenient. I can’t say enough awesome things about Mountain Paws Grooming!!
