This is NOT a review on the employees. This is a review on the new ownership. Eight years in Frazier Park and I’ve never seen only two employees on a Saturday afternoon. Right when it’s warming up and it’s go time on home projects. The two were Completely overwhelmed and unable to help.How can the only hardware store serving a mountain with at least 5000 customers not do better?

I was there on 1 Dec 23, looking for a stove thermostat. Waited at Customer Service while a male and female each sat at a desk, doing nothing, ignored me. Waited 10 minutes. Nothing. Walked to the cashier, who threw a fit, and directed me to the "back wall." Nothing found. Went to another cashier who sent me to aisle 11.After thinking about the poor service, I decided to drive to Home Depot or Lowe's in Bakersfield rather than throw my money away where my business is obviously not wanted.BTW, I'm remodeling two of my rentals. I'll drive 45 miles each way before driving 10 minutes to this business.

They sure don't have the feel of a Mom and Pop hardware store, they are RUDE, RUDE RUDE. I simply asked a guy behind a counter for some help finding material and he was the rudest person I EVER encountered at an Ace Hardware. I would rather drive the 100 mile round trip to Santa Clarita or Bakersfield than to spend one penny in there. He told me he didn't need my business. I was never rude to him, I don't understand people anymore.

Great hardware store! Family owned and they hire local. Very organized and well stocked. So grateful to not have to drive off the hill for most hardware needs. Not only hardware items but a good variety of other household and cleaning products. Employees are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. My favorite hardware store for sure!

I just moved back up here on the mountain, and the same owner owns it since I was a child this is where I come a lot being a handy man. It is great to see friendly people so regularly including all the staff. They are very knowledgeable, and are well stocked.

Stopped in to get materials for a job my coworker and I were working on. We were greeted with smiles and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend that if you're in the Frazier Park area needing building materials or just your everyday household needs Frazier Park lumber and hardware has what you need.

I usually don't like shopping in Frazier Park cuz the prices are a little bit of few dollars more than elsewhere but the staff is friendly and they're always nice and ready to help the customers and always smiling and sometimes you can really find a good deal in there not everything's a little overpriced

Very helpful staff at the Frazier Park store right off I-5 freeway. All you have to do is go toward Frazier Park from the Lebec area. Ace Hardware has always been reliable, their prices may be a bit higher than Lowe's or Walmart for example, but their close proximity do people who live in Pine Mountain Club is truly helpful. Sometimes it's not worth it to drive an hour plus just to get some basic items. Lastly, I always recommend calling ahead of time to make sure everything you need is there before making the trip. For example, they may have mulch at their store for your garden but not the color you want. Call ahead. Join the rewards program. They also have UPS and FedEx drop off but like other stores they may not have something else such as a Western Union or ATM machine. Plan ahead what you not want and also double check with prices if your item is way expensive, her example again, their bird seed is way overpriced in my opinion. Their beverages are twice as much as across the street at Dollar General. Their garden plants are okay, once you get them put them in the ground is there likely dying to escape their plastic heat container. Good luck Linda, member to benefit their Ace Hardware Rewards

This is my absolute favorite hardware store, hands down! Harry, Kurt, Ellen, Sissy, Robin, Jesse and the rest of the staff at this family owned business are the best!! FP Ace always has what I need for my home and projects. They always give me a "preferred customer" discount too!! Don't go "down the hill" to find a better deal. Shop local and support this business!

Needed to pick up a few items to fix a formica countertop that was requiring some adhesive repair.Very well organized and stocked store for the Frazier Park area.Found everything I needed, and located a few more items for other projects at my home at Pine Mountain Club area.Parking is somewhat limited. 1 driveway entrance and exit off of Mt Pinos Way. Steep driveway entry also when you come into their parking lot.Employees were friendly and helpful.

Place is called Ace hardware. Did amazing race for this stop. Challenge was buy supply to build a small boat. Staff here was fantastic and even helped the kids that were doing the amazing race offer lollipop and popcorn and supplies to build their boat. Staff watched us and we all had a great time. Definitely friendly and best greetings from Frazier park community!

On a par with Lone Pine Hardware, Newhall Hardware, and of course, Agua Dulce Hardware, where I worked 20 some yrs ago.Courteous, efficent, hometown service, fully stocked, or they will order whatever you need; close 2 home.
