Was initially hesitant about coming here because of the recent negative reviews but they were the only store within miles with a dog car barrier and boy am I glad I did. This was by far the best experience I have EVER had at a pet store. Jeffery helped us install the barrier and was super patient and kind all the way through. We had a look around at their other products (of which there is a huge variety and selection) and the prices were more than reasonable. Will definitely be back, thankyou Pet Supply!

I really wanted to love this location because I've been a huge promoter for the Woodbury location for years but I was very disappointed about my last visit.I am a huge proponent of supporting local businesses and was offered a small 5% off loyalty discount code for following their Woodbury location and also actively promoting them on my social accounts (as well as on my pet's) but when I came to this location it took about 6 people to decide if they wanted to give me a discount because they had never heard of such a promotion.Ironically, the discount appears on my profile and as someone who has worked in customer services for over a decade I would have expected that for such a low discount you'd just honor it instead of wasting ten minutes of the customer's time just to say no. What's even more interesting is that they offer the discount to people who work in the area so it's not that they COULDN'T do it, they just wouldn't. If it were me, I would have just given the discount as a gesture of customer service, but the owner's daughter's apathy is the reason why I decided to share my experience on this platform.There are so many bigger corporations selling the same products for significantly less money and it breaks my heart that because of this negative experience I really can't see myself returning here especially when I drove 50 miles to this location on the positive recommendation of their Woodbury manager.

An experience at this pet store today left me stunned, taken aback and shocked. I cannot get over being verbally attacked by a manager, Raymond. I went in to buy food and took an item with me that I wanted to return — a simple non-perishable item, no expiration , not food related, in its original packaging, valued less than $20. When I entered I mentioned I wanted to return the item, and the cashier said not if it’s over 30 days. As I proceeded to shop I decided to ask if an exception might be made as the item is still sold on a rack near checkout. The cashier called Raymond who was seemingly already angry when he arrived. I said I was hoping for an exception on the 30 days and that I buy nearly all food and supplies there. That triggered Raymond to say “that’s a threat, when you say that that’s a threat and you’re threatening me”. He went on a tirade about people who tell him they buy everything there and the kind of people who ask for exceptions. There were people at the other registers and in line behind me who could hear him berating me like I was some kind of loser, trying to pull one on him. I am still beside myself at the way he spoke to me over a simple request to consider making a policy exception. I said nothing beyond the few words above, never argued or did anything that would cause an employee to go at a customer in that manner. But no more — After more than five years of being a regular customer I will shop online and or find another store that carries the special brands I buy.

Do not buy their flea pills! They do not work even though the employee said it does. No refunds on 3 mo supply of flea pills?! Hmmm. They obviously dont back up their products and are more concerned with their bottom line than Customer Satisfaction.

I always love coming here because I am always more educated and more happy when I leave. I needed to change my dog's food to more healthy option because she is getting older and I want the best food and life for her. They were able to help me on so many options and I am looking forward to trying new things. I also needed some shoes for here when she walks on asphalt and when it's raining, anything good for rough weather. They had samples of this one brand and it was perfect because I could actually figure out what the best size was. I also asked for senior dog food samples and the cashier went to the back and was able to get my a lot of big samples and I was so happy about that. This was a very informative and good visit.

I shopped here for years and have spent thousands of dollars in that time. I stopped in here for the last time a couple weeks ago. One thing I've noticed recently, in at least the past year, year and a half or so. Is the sudden influx of young staff that look confused, they all have that same vacant brain dead look in eyes. Their price increases are far from subtle, they go straight to the jugular with those.I know the economy is in a terrible postion right now and we all know who and what is responsible for that. But holy cow man, at least get some employees that have answers to even the most basic of questions. Goodbye pet supply, goodbye forever.

This store has been a go to spot of mine for years! They are huge and always provide great customer service. Dog and cat sections are in totally separate buildings which is kind of nice. They have lots of new treats and trending products too!

I had been going to the store for twenty five years. Today the manager Kayla asked me to leave the Store without my purchase. I went in to support the Small Business Saturday and she was offended because I was there Wednesday and the girl that worked There And I spoke about small business saturday. It wasn't The Saturday I went but but.it is on the 25th so I said. Well, that was really stupid of the girl. And then Kayla said I insulting her staff and that I should leave the store. Even another customer overheard the conversation and said she's the customer. What's wrong with you and then she asked them Do you want to leave too?. Her name is Kayla And please Peter patter like a tiny bunny when you see her.We'll folks. It didn't go well. I called the manager Raymond and his manager Earle and he said I was wrong for insinuating "The girl" was stupid. I actually liked the girl I don't even know her name But He told me he knew the kind of person I was and he asked me to never come back to the store again. Raymond please post the video here.I was so sad I could hardly stand it So I went to another pet store and spent my eighty two dollars there. If you read it this far this is not a joke it's real!

I am not a current pet owner. I stopped in here to have a peek and to buy some treats and toys for my friends' doggo. If you are looking for a pet related item, they are more than likely to have it. I needed help finding a specific type of toy. One of the employees was very knowledgeable and showed me a few different choices. Left feeling quite happy with the customer service and with my purchases.

In this case I've been going to the store a lot of times for a long time and I actually forgot to write a review. But it finally came time. I've had so many good experiences lately that it was a must that I did.First of all pet supply is a great business and I love supporting my local vendors. Fountain Valley store is my favorite one, everyone in it has a great attitude and a positive spirit.*The supervisor STEVEN has made a few special orders for me and they've always been on time etc. Everything's always been great. He performs professionally, courteously & displays a great attitude.If you need any special orders or anything in particular he's the guy to go to. They have an amazing assortment of pet supplies and I'm really satisfied with this store. Great job keep it up 💯🍻

I am down to just one pet at this time, but have had several different types of animals over the years. This store was able to cater to all of them: rabbit, cats, chameleons, dog... whatever I'm looking for, they've had it! The staff is knowledgeable about their products, and I've been able to find new things to use for my pets that have worked out really well.

Also, they have a great guy there that does a super job on teeth cleaning, quick, safe and economical (no anesthesia) my pug's teeth were sparkling white, and all the tarter and stains disappeared!

I have been shopping here for about 1 year. Of all my pet stores this is the best. They give me coupons and free samples and it makes it that much easier to give my picky dog a food for trial. I have wasted lots of money buying food she doesn’t like. This store takes it back if my dog doesn’t like it. Best part of my experience. There is a vet on the premise a couple of days out of the week that gives shots for my dog or cat when needed as well as prescriptions. Very low price compared to a vet hospital or clinic. Waiting time is no longer than 20 minutes and no appointments needed.Completely wonderful!❤️

Staff is friendly and tries to help but I wouldn't take their advice on what to feed my pet, they take you to the worst non human grade kibble you can possibly feed, but I don't blame them just do your own research before. Also it's common for them to have expired kibble on the shelves. I unfortunately encountered this several times now, was in a hurry and just got the first bag there, went back and returned it after noticing when I got home but still it's inconvenient so always check expiration other than they have so much variety!

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Parking is excellent at this location as it is in a shopping center with a Starbucks and multiple restaurants. The dogs love these new treats.

This place gets better each time we visit for many reasons! I will try to keep this short...Every employee treats my dog, Griff, with so much love, compassion, and positive attention. No amount of words or stars could reflect my appreciation. Griff is 10+ and had never been so excited to go anywhere before we discovered Pet Supply.His personality and energy improved 10-fold for several reasons. I will state the top two.1. Since switching from kibble to a raw diet, his health has improved drastically. He goes about his days as if he is a puppy again.2. We live one street light away so, we inevitably pass by on our daily walks. Griff pulls us in the direction of the store for obvious reasons. He is always so happy after saying hello; regardless of whether that 'hello' is paired with a free treat or not. Everyone welcomes Griff with love and excitement ...regardless of how busy they are.So thank you Pet Supply Staff!Without a shadow of a doubt- you ALL have contributed to Griff's longevity & continue to do so every day you are still open for business.

I think I love this store as much as my puppy does. Pet supply has the best and most varied selection of supplies for dog and cat. I love the frozen section with the raw bones and ground meats. The treats they have are healthy alternatives to big box retailers.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they carry. My one complaint is that most of the employees don't ask before giving treats, other than that I have nothing but good things to say. Cat world has everything I need for my cat, I love that this place is a one stop shop. The prices are a little bit higher than online but brick and mortar places like this need our support. Its just not the same to order off chewy and you don't get the same variety or expertise.

My wife went here to find a harness for our dog and was deciding between two and the sales person said she could buy both and return whichever one she didn’t want for a refund. The next day I tried to return one of them unused and still in the packaging and they said store credit only after the sales person specifically said we would be able to get a refund! So in the end they put a store credit on our account.A couple weeks later we go back to use the credit and they tell us we don’t have one! They tried to argue with us and basically tell us too bad. After a lot of back and forth they finally found the credit a different way and tried to play it off. Two awful experiences back to back.
